While I haven't read his books on somatic meditation and that aspect of things, for sure the two you will zip through even though they're not short: "Secret of the Vajra World: The Tantric Buddhism of Tibet" and "Indestructible Truth: The Living Spirituality of Tibetan Buddhism". Dr. Sledge nailed it on Jung. Not so much the archtype but the technical aspect of the Hermetica has been ignored too much in light of Jung’s popularism.
Been a subscriber of both Esoterica and Foolish Fish for some time now. Esoterica has been great for an in-depth academic standpoint. Dr. Sledge shows his amazing breadth of knowledge in every video. Everything is always succinctly explained yet always pleasantly lighthearted. At Foolish Fish, I've also found incredibly insightful information but from a more practical standpoint which is equally amazing. This was definitely a pleasant surprise! Please continue making this much-needed content!
I could never put into words how much joy it brings me to see a materialist and an idealist be able to sit down and converse in such a respectful manner. Amazing! It makes me so happy seeing you two together. You’ve both had a massive impact on my spiritual and intellectual path in the last year. Dr. Justin Sledge has that type of intellect that is hard to fathom. At least I can say I know a bit more about one little area than him. That is until he becomes an expert and uploads a video. Haha. So much love for both of you
@Foolish Fish + @Esoterica...A dynamic duo in action! I respect Dr. Sledge's views on Carl Jung's misapplication of alchemy as a spiritual practice...not so sure I agree with him though. The question: are there texts or scrolls on spiritual alchemy that were around prior to the days of Carl Jung? My understanding has always been that material and spiritual alchemy are interrelated...they go hand in hand...in order for a base metal to transmute into gold, the practitioner's spirit or soul must also become pure enough. I came upon this understanding long before I even heard of Carl Jung. Segue: anyone here remember coding in Fortran or Cobol? :)

This is fantastic. The lack of interviews and collaborations on magic youtube has always left me somewhat... is morose too strong a word? It's the best fit - but no longer! Thanks, to both of you! And congratulations on 100k!
I do have him on my subscription.love both of you guys.
Two channels that I’m in love with!❤️💜💙💚💛
Thank you for watching, @Kirk! :D
