And you’ll likely lose half of your 50\50s. That makes it be an average of (120 + 60)/2) pulls, or about 90 pulls on average to get one copy of the featured 5 star for each banner that drops. Anything better than that, I absolutely BETTER see you say how lucky that is.

That's exactly what happened to my friend he always used to get 5 stars around 10-30 wishes max but had to pity ayaka last patch and he felt like quitting for it costing 130 wishes for one ayaka im like bruh lol.

That summon session was really good, not bad. Wtf. Love your videos, but really don’t understand why you thought you were having bad luck. You lost one 50/50 (early) and didn’t have to go to hard pity on both Nahida & Nilou. Also you got the two weapons you wanted. I feel kind of weird about content creators suggesting it’s abnormal to get characters around 60-80 pulls, even though for most people that’s a reality. It’s actually programmed to give you a 5 star around every 75 pulls, so why so negative?

True. I went into 3.6 hoping I could just get Nahida and a single Kuki. I was prepared to spend 160 pulls on her. I won the 50/50, then did a 10 pull on Nilou's banner because I wanted Kuki C2 after getting her once. I've pulled Nilou at 1 pity. This was the single luckiest banner I've ever spent pulls on, and Nilou is now my official 2nd 5* I've gotten outside of pity, first being Xiao. I'm sorry but I have to brag because I'm still so happy even a week later.

yeah he says it's bad, when my earliest pulled 5 star was @ 79 pity across my first 6 5 stars, and I lost every single 50/50 on my account as well. my luck was so bad in fact it would make a lot of people quit. Just recently I pulled a 5 star at 4 pity, and at 40 pity and that helped, but 1 of those was a weapon off the standard banner and it was literally the worst weapon possible.
This is why HYV should add an in-game real time pity counter. This was an over all better than average wishing session even just character wise, but with the weapons as well it's actually nutty!

You only lost two 50/50 over what would be. considered 6 five-star pulls, of which two were weapon banners (and we all know how wrong could those go). In case you guys missed the disclaimer at the start, he doesn't care if HIS pulls on HIS account are bad, but he doesn't want the pulls on BONES' account to be bad. It's better for him to err on the side of caution when it comes to her account, because it's basically him spending her money/using the fruits of her hard work.

I mean most of the comments here have already mentioned it, but yeah purely from the mathematical side of things, your luck here would be considered average or even above average for most regular players. Statistically, you should only expect to get a 5 star character around every 75 pulls and weapons every 65 pulls. Plus, the 50/50s (37.5/37.5/25 for weapons) have been largely rolling in your favor. Realistically an average player should have expected to around 550 pulls for the c1 nahida, c0 Nilou and their weapons, whereas you took 414 pulls to get all of that. That's over 20% less pulls than what you should have expected. When adding in the "bad luck" when going for that C2, you should have expected around 630 pulls to get it, but you got it as 566, putting you at 10% less pulls than expected. Overall, I'd consider that slightly better than statistically average even in this case.
if i had that many primos saved and i got everything i wanted i'd be freaking out and maybe crying or screaming because that'd be the best luck i've ever had, idk why you think this is bad luck

i got a c1 for my nilou from this banner and i’m so happy about it. aside from bp and welkin i didn’t spend money on the banner which made me so happy cause it was the first banner in awhile where i was pulling but didn’t really need it. i was going for c2 but i got the c1 and it’s awesome cause i love my big bloom kaboom team. next rerun whenever it comes i’ll get my c2 i hope. hope everyone else has the good luck! also for nilou you don’t need to get her weapon. iron sting and the umbrella are great for her stat and color wise! been tryna get a paradise lost set for her and it’s not working but rn i have her on heart of depth and noblesse but one day one day sorry i wanted to improve vibes and gush somewhere about my nilou😊 have a great day everyone

I understand not getting streamer luck but, it really is hard to watch a video with someone complaining every 5 seconds. I know there’s gonna be that one person defending and saying something like “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.” But, I really enjoy mogas videos usually but, his recent summons are just really negative. He’s sighing every single 10 pull, talking about bad luck, and just overall acting like he’s not having fun anymore. Could be just me but, I don’t know.
My summoning session went quite similar. I started off with roughly 40k primos, I had no layla and got her to C6, got my Nilou around pity, and lost my 50/50 while going for a nahida constellation to Keqing 😅 Stayed away from weapon banner for the most part though. I already got Nahida's weapon on her release banner, so I just got myself Xiphos Moonlight (and an early Wolfs Gravestone, while not having a Diluc 😩) and called it a day. Saving my guaranteed banner 5 star and remaining primos for Baizhu 👍
Pretty lucky in all honesty. Not to brag, but I've only won 2 of my 11 50/50s 💪and most of those went to soft pity. On another note, soft pity starts at 75, and the chances to get a 5* increase by (around) 5% each additional wish, up to 90. So it's insanely hard to get past 85, and nigh impossible to hit 90.
Dude your summons were well above average. You had a little over 50/50 luck on the chars, you lost half and won half (exactly 50/50 luck) , plus one early. But you had really good luck winning the 25/75 TWICE. Considering that you were going for TWO limited weapons and FOUR chars, I would say what you got was very good considering your odds. It could have been WAY WAY worse.

I would actually consider this a good summoning session, especially given the weapons. I’d say it’s rare to win the weapon path once, and you won both times. Diluc was early, it could’ve gone waaaay worse tbh heh. My pulls usually all go to lost 50/50s and high pity so I’d personally consider this a success :)

It's hilarious to me how many people are throwing a hissy fit over how Moga reacted to these pulls. In case you guys missed the disclaimer at the start, he doesn't care if HIS pulls on HIS account are bad, but he doesn't want the pulls on BONES' account to be bad. It's better for him to err on the side of caution when it comes to her account, because it's basically him spending her money/using the fruits of her hard work.

How was it bad? Won almost every 50/50 except the first one for diluc, but it was hella early anyway. Moga, please please please stop criticising yourselves too much
I mean most of the comments here have already mentioned it, but yeah purely from the mathematical side of things, your luck here would be considered average or even above average for most regular players.
Statistically, you should only expect to get a 5 star character around every 75 pulls and weapons every 65 pulls. Plus, the 50/50s (37.5/37.5/25 for weapons) have been largely rolling in your favor. Realistically an average player should have expected to around 550 pulls for the c1 nahida, c0 Nilou and their weapons, whereas you took 414 pulls to get all of that. That's over 20% less pulls than what you should have expected.
When adding in the "bad luck" when going for that C2, you should have expected around 630 pulls to get it, but you got it as 566, putting you at 10% less pulls than expected. Overall, I'd consider that slightly better than statistically average even in this case.

i got a c1 for my nilou from this banner and i’m so happy about it. aside from bp and welkin i didn’t spend money on the banner which made me so happy cause it was the first banner in awhile where i was pulling but didn’t really need it. i was going for c2 but i got the c1 and it’s awesome cause i love my big bloom kaboom team. next rerun whenever it comes i’ll get my c2 i hope.

Going for new characters will ALWAYS be better than constellations, Moga. I know that you’re a whale and don’t know anything about anything. But having new characters is always better because it gives you more options. So of course Bones would rather have Nilou than C2 Nahida lmao.
I understand not getting streamer luck but, it really is hard to watch a video with someone complaining every 5 seconds. I know there’s gonna be that one person defending and saying something like “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.” But, I really enjoy mogas videos usually but, his recent summons are just really negative. He’s sighing every single 10 pull, talking about bad luck, and just overall acting like he’s not having fun anymore. Could be just me but, I don’t know.
I like how he complains about above average luck all the time. The median person has to pull 75 times to get a 5* Character.

My summoning session went quite similar. I started off with roughly 40k primos, I had no layla and got her to C6, got my Nilou around pity, and lost my 50/50 while going for a nahida constellation to Keqing 😅
Stayed away from weapon banner for the most part though. I already got Nahida's weapon on her release banner, so I just got myself Xiphos Moonlight (and an early Wolfs Gravestone, while not having a Diluc 😩) and called it a day. Saving my guaranteed banner 5 star and remaining primos for Baizhu 👍
Pretty lucky in all honesty. Not to brag, but I've only won 2 of my 11 50/50s 💪and most of those went to soft pity.
On another note, soft pity starts at 75, and the chances to get a 5* increase by (around) 5% each additional wish, up to 90. So it's insanely hard to get past 85, and nigh impossible to hit 90.

Dude your summons were well above average. You had a little over 50/50 luck on the chars, you lost half and won half (exactly 50/50 luck) , plus one early. But you had really good luck winning the 25/75 TWICE. Considering that you were going for TWO limited weapons and FOUR chars, I would say what you got was very good considering your odds. It could have been WAY WAY worse.

Hey, the summons weren't that bad! Your luck wasn't really bad, at least comparing to my last 8 months of genshin, every 5" I got was 75+, even one at 80 and I lost more 50/50s than won, now I'm at 38 pity trying to get my Nilou, really needing to win that 50/50. Probably my worst streak on genshin.

I had saved 34k primos and 51 wishes somehow I still have 26k left n got nahiida, kuki, lots of laylas n pulled the 5 star sword and nahiidas weapon!!!! I am NEVER that lucky!!!! I wanted to pull for nilou but now I’m scared that’s where it all go south 😅

I would actually consider this a good summoning session, especially given the weapons. I’d say it’s rare to win the weapon path once, and you won both times. Diluc was early, it could’ve gone waaaay worse tbh heh.
My pulls usually all go to lost 50/50s and high pity so I’d personally consider this a success :)
