Normally I never, ever have problems with "stalling bosses" like Kenki, Ruin Serpent and the likes. But that Wenut, my god it actually drove me *tearing my hair out* insane.
Imo kenki was the easiest part of this abyss 😭😭 With kenki if you have Hu tao or yoimiya (basically single target dps) you should definitely be fine, but its the goddamn wenut thats torture
They always add the worst bosses for time challenges to the fucking time challenges
Yoi, Yelan, Nahida shred through him pretty easily and it's actually the first abyss where my Yoimiya fared better than HuTao.

Fun fact: All three hydro slimes from the Hydro Hypostasis die instantly to Nahida’s hold E.
Yup, they die instantly to Dendro in general I think

the worst part about this is that tighnari is unironically decent in this abyss cycle, it would have been far easier if only you had used anyone but Sara and zhongli
i don't think sara was such a bad call, but the likes of yae would have fared very well on this team

@@abbystafford7549 he didn’t even buff his tighnari with her E half of the time cause he just used E and then Sara ult which was long enough for her buff to work on herself instead of tighnari so basically Sara did there nearly 0 help
@@senioralexander6681 he usually bursted with Sara and then swapped to Tighnari - which *also* provides a buff. I am also not saying using her was optimum, just not "such a bad call".
abyss 12-3-2 be bussin, love that I can't attack the boss for half of the time
I wish it was half of the time. It's underground for like ¾s of the timer at best
And after you stun it, the window of opportunity to do a decent amount of damage is too small, especially compared to other bosses with a downtime mechanic

9:46 i saw zhongli being used on the chasm dudes and half broke down knowing hes going to have a hell of a time defeating them
I've done it with Zhongli without problems. My HuTao team cleared them 3* but sucked the rest while my Yoimiya team shredded the rest and was 3-4sec short on The Chasm dudes.
@@Why_Cant_I_Use_My_ProfName Hu Tao enjoyer here as well, no problems clearing 12-2-2 and 12-3-2 with Double Hydro Hu Tao, had to bring Tighnari for 12-1-2 though.
@@aleksandartosic2261 yeah, first chamber is ass for HuTao. I couldn't bring double Hydro for the rest because my second team is Rational.
@@Why_Cant_I_Use_My_ProfName I did a variation of Rational as my second team (or would it be a variation of Hypercarry Raiden?) by using Raiden, Sara, Bennett, Xiangling and it did quite well surprisingly.

I have no idea why Temp said that Tighnari "doesn't have a high enough DPS" at 9:10. By all metrics he's an extremely strong single target DPS whose teams are comparable to the top tier single target comps like Hu Tao and Rational. The only downside to him is that he has no AoE coverage at all, but he can alleviate that somewhat by running teammates like Yae. I think a lot of people think that since he's a standard banner character that he's bad, but in reality he (and also Keqing to an extent) are very much very meta characters.
The only issue was the choice of team, Sara is not a good choice due to how he scales off of EM more than ATK and provides limited value since her C6 is worthless for him, plus her cooldowns don't match at all. A better choice is to use Fischl and Yae, and then choose someone like Zhongli or Yaoyao for the last slot as defensive utility. Alternatively you choose one of Fischl or Yae and then slot in Nahida instead.
This is what we call "feelscrafting". Because he doesn't like Tighnari he's made-up a reason to put him down and pretend that that's an actual theory crafting take.
Tighnari at C0 R1 is really great as a quick swap character. And at c6 he’s so far the fastest in terms of speedeunning/DPS when compared with Nahida and Al Haitham. He’s solid
temp is kind of known to praising just a bunch of characters, and absolutely hating on everyone else. i had a huge respect for him for still maining childe in 2023 but we do not condemn tighnari slander in this house lol

I would suggest running Nahida instead of Zhongli and Yae instead of Sara, Tighnari is super OP when it comes to single target, idk why ppl say he doesn't have enough DPS to clear
Tighnari hyper makes great use of Zhongli and Sara, Sara is an elegy holder along with applying electro and giving an atk buff, Zhongli shreds Dendro and allows for interruption resistance, he can also use Deepwood if Nahida is holding Gilded dreams. I use Tigh, Nahida, Sara, and Zhongli for Tigh hyper and 36 star abyss.

@@Dnarte_ Yeah, but comparing with the EM buff that Nahida gives him... She pretty much makes him a beast bcs he turns all of Nahida's EM into DMG Bonus. That's at C0R0, and at C2 Nahida, the Def shred is really nice.
@@tusharsrivastava370 I have Yae built and her signature, I just prefer using Sara for buffing because she can also hold Instructors and Elegy comfortably. There arent many catalyst buffs besides TTDS but Sara's atk buff gives more atk.

Temp could not be more wrong by saying that Tighnari is not a character for abyss. On the Wenut, Tighnari's skill cooldown matches perfectly with the time the boss stays underground. Also Tighnari is almost on par with Alhaitham
Yeah, I'm not sure where they got that idea. Tighnari's single target DPS is very strong and his teams are on par with or close to the top single target teams in the game like Hu Tao Double Hydro or Alhaitham's Spread/Quickbloom teams. The only downside is the lack of AoE but for single target bossing he is one of the best.
People get so caught up on the standard 5 star label. I have Alhaitham and Nahida, but there are some times when I choose Tighnari in the abyss instead or split them up among the different sides, just because I feel like playing him and know he is very capable,
Plus he’s more fun to play than Alhaitham.

Having a boss that hides half of the time during a time challenge is the definition of anxiety...
The reason the lawachurls are such menaces is because they proc melt a lot when you're in Bennett's burst (I restarted countless times because of this only to still not be fast enough for the wenut).

Yep thats what 1 of bennet downside but yeah whatever just restart thingy. The best enemies for lavachurl definetely xiangling, cause itselt their shield so fast while also proccing melt. And once their shield is gone their less menace cause they get interupt ezly if they still alive.
For future Moga, Yae is great teammate for Tignari since she needs a bit of time to set her turrets and he have short on field time! :D

Yesss. I love using Yae and Tighnari together. You can beat just about any boss with those two. He takes up the time after you place down Yae's turrets, and he can switch out so you can refresh them at any time. There aren't many bosses those two can't beat together. They're also my go-to for bosses like the wenut, ruin serpent, wolf lord, and maguu because they can both still deal damage from a far. It saves time running after wherever the boss is going to appear next.

Tighnari is the character I’ve invested the most resources into and he did great in this abyss (I managed to get 36 stars yay!) I’d definitely recommend him for second half (especially since he can get CAs off really quickly - super helpful for the wenut’s freakishly small dps windows!)😭
I used Tigh, Yae, Nahida, and Kuki. Though you really just need someone who can apply electro off field while you span Tighnari’s attacks since you don’t have to worry about taking damage from the wenut much
I actually tried using Tighnari this abyss and he shredded the second half of the first two chambers but I just could not get him to do chamber three. I think it’s because you can’t swirl Dendro so you never get the resistance drop and so he need more investment to do it. In the end I ended up using Raiden, Yelan, Kazuha, and Fischl. It was a tad unconventional and very hard to get through the first two chambers without dying but it was the only team of out like a Million I tried that actually worked.

@@seraphywang4638 I personally didn’t try since I don’t have good pieces for the characters on my team. It might honestly, and if I swapped out Zhongli for like Yaoyao or something for the Dendro resonance + deepwood but I wouldn’t be surprised if it still wasn’t enough since I wasn’t too too close to finishing up the boss. Still worth a shot and I might honestly try it.

I dont have many good deepwood pieces but the fantastic thing about them is that unless the character heavily relies on states, any four piece would be good enough since the bonus isnt affected by personal stats. It might be better with a c1 Yaoyao since she can have 15% dendro dmg bonus. I dont have Tighnari so I cant even test this if I wanted to
12-3-2 is weird, but I'm glad MiHoYo was easy on us, because ofc they don't want to give us anxiety.
Fun fact:
If you are standing on Bennett's burst and the Rockbreaker Ax hits you with geo or with his Leyline disorder it will create a crystalized shield close to yourself, and if you pick it by accident it will count towards all the other Black Serpent Knights buffs that activate upon hiting a shielded character

@@AllenIndia it's literally true, the same reason why the maguu kenki(s) can proc melt on you and oneshot you, or why the consecrated beasts can overload you to death, or why you can kill the geovishap w/o a shield character as long as you get hit in time and generate a pyro crystalize shield
@@hyeongpinkz Yes the geo waves do proc crystallise on you if you have an aura on yourself but the crystallise shield doesn't trigger the knights's mechanics at all. The OP and the person below my comment are straight up lying or just had a mandela effect moment(more likely).

This abyss forced me to do two separate runs for the first time in a long time. Like a *really long time*.
I failed a few times on floor 12-1 chamber 2 because I had a hydro unit and characters that couldn't break shields but I'm stubborn and kept trying until I beat it.
I feel like I'm the only person who cleared floors 12-2 and 12-3 first time easy but floor 12-1 I struggled with 🤣
Same, my first run i use Rational and Nilou bloom to get 35 star 💀 other chamber with Nilou is ez af but the wenut man.......need to change team because of this
I disagree, I think triple Kenki is slightly better if you know how to manipulate the AI and keep them together and you have enough DPS you can burst them down faster than the single one because the single one has that phase-changing invincibility frame section
And I think that Wenut is slightly less annoying than the ruined serpent cuz the ruins serpent in the abyss doesn't have a means of stunning it(outside spamming a bow user's normal attacks and hoping the auto-aim hits one of those openings that are glowing during the spinning phase) the Wenut if you hit two of those animal balls in the delayed swirl face it'll stun it and it'll game resistances to the elements you swirled

tighnari not for the abyss? he’s quickswap and has frontloaded dmg and that’s extremely valuable when most enemies in the abyss nowadays have bullshit s and stalls. he is perfect for the abyss boss floors
For tighnari, I like running him with fischl/sara, yae miko, and yaoyao. Double electro and double dendro is pretty nice with him. Plus c1 yao yao with deepwood helps his damage a bit.
Temp has never been so wrong... Got 36 stars with Tighnari/Nahida/Raiden/Kazuha on the 2nd half. I literally have 36 starred with him for a few months now
for once i didnt struggle on this abyss. quickbloom is so good with alhaitham.

I retract my feelings for the triple kenkis bros, the "ruin me" ruin serpent, the consecrated beasts duo and the good boy wolf lord. I fucking love them now because of that green pointy caterpillar!
Small thing about the serpant knights
The reason why they drop shields is because they get hit by your shields that have been deployed. They sorta force you to not use shields. Small lesson for those that use Zhongli on second half

I love how challenging this abyss cycle is. It's been a while since it took me quite some tries to get my abyss done (usually I just complete it within an hour)
As a Tighnari main he came in clutch with the WeNut easily take it down. I disagree with Tighnari not having enough DPS. He just need to be right teams with proper rotation
As a venti main, I can vouch that I am always malding, scalding, crying, sobbing, imploding, and exploding
idk what you were saying about fischl? Oz attacks and applies electro without normal attacks, she's tighnari's best partner
He probably just ment he doesn't benefit from C6 Fischl, which makes Oz attack even more when a character uses normal attacks
What's annoying is that you just did a yae revisit, yet don't use her in one of her best teams with tighnari 😭
I am struggling soo much on the last chamber, especially because of the first half, they keep killing you, even if u are using a shield, thats completely not fair😭
freeze is the way to go there, i struggled so much with my Al Haitham team, they just kept killing me, even with Kuki and Bennett healing, i was extremely pissed off and decided to bring my Ayaka, she saved my ass LMAO and she can easily deal with hydro shields in 12-1, Ayaka best girl
@@bai_reina Remember Bennet constantly applies pyro to your chars, effectively doubling the dmg of cryo enemies (specially bad for strong single hits). Xingqiu works better for tanking such amounts of dmg.

I recommend using Alhaitham nahida shogun shinobu for floor 12 second chamber. They can deal with hydro shield fast and obliterate enemy faster in general. My build are not that good but i can still clear floor 12 with full stars.
Replacing alhaitham with tighnari will also works i guess (i don’t have him but looking at his charged atk i think it must be good)
I love these buzzer-beater wins, it's similar to my experience in 36 starring the latest abyss.
Ik u may not see this, but a team I love is nahida (dendro support) tighnari (wanderers troupe) kokomi (tank/healer) and yae with (2 piece electro bonus and 2 piece em)

not sure if it's fact but i heard that while in deyha's burst, if you press e repeatedly, you attack faster
Moga you are getting one shotted by those enemies most likely because you are in Bennett's burst which gives you pyro aura so their cryo attacks are getting melted and doing a lot more dmg
I dont know if you already knew this but using dendro element attack to destroy hydro-shield thing is a little bit faster than using cryo element.
I once try it with collei CA to destroy hydro hypostasis 3 slimes end phase, pretty much one shot it, or if you have nahida you can just hold her elemental skill and puff.. gone. But against the fatui and herald might be abit longer than the hypostasis slime cause the amount of HP bar it has. 😁
Bruh this one was so much easier for me than the last one idk why people are struggling used raiden national and ganyu freeze
Moga, try out a dendro/dendro/kuki/kokomi or electro/dendro/kuki/kokomi team comps! Double heal is super useful in the abyss and it still procs hyperblooms effectively (esp if kuki is tripple em)!
As a tighnari main with decent investments, this abyss was still very hard( still didn’t 36 star btw)

It's pretty normal, Wenut has dendro res and it cannot be shred during its vulnerable phase
Yeah, I normally beat Wenut with Tighnari.
But he seems less optimal due to its elemental resistances.

Against the black serpent knights, I used ganyu melt with zhongli. The way I found to beat it was just burst down the stand bearers first, then you can get hit as much as you want. When they are about to swing, you can actually dodge it, though sprinting away temporarily is safer.
You did that with a shield in the second half. Bravo, sir.
The weird fact that this Abyss I to had use Ayaka freeze team in the second half to 36 it given the fact that Ayaka doesn't fair well against that Anemo worm. Still cleared it somehow.

Moga, I love your videos and I want to believe that you did this Abyss round just to suffer and amuse us, because using Zhongli against the characters that buff up when shields are in play and not taking an hydro for hyperbloom Tighnari is just trying to make it harder on purpose XD. I heard myself raging at the screen hahahaha! Next time, try Raiden (or other electro), Tighnari, Nahida and Kokomi. You'll destroy everything in your path. (I have Amos on my tighnari with wanderer's) the double dendro will drain the water shields real quick.
is it funny that I JUST now know the mechanic of the husks(the shield aggresive one). So that's why they are so hard to kill some abyss rotations ago

i did the abyss today and it was fine until floor 12, that was a nightmare, :'((( especially the wenut omg im pretty sure i went through like 4 of its phases 😭
i love how more interesting, difficult, and complicated the newer enemies are. you actually have to think when fighting them, and they have more to them than just attacking you. sure if you have all c6 r5 characters that really doesn’t matter, but i think it’s just fun additions that make the game not feel too easy
I knew I wasn’t the only one who hated this. I did it yesterday and, oh god, did I suffer. Those cryo mages and their shields, the amount of time the hydro hypostasis spends just sitting there, ANOTHER maguu kenki. I also had to re-do floor 11 because I narrowly missed three stars on the third floor by taking too long destroying the slimes and didn’t restart in time. What is with these spiral abysses lately?
And also the consecrated beasts. They annoyed me so much that mentally blocked the memory

This abyss is a walk in the park compared to the last one. That one had me ripping and tearing out my hair
As a 5 month player (with subpar artifacts and knowledge about attack pattern), I thought I have skill issues with this patch's floor 12 (cant finish floor 12-2), but seeing old players also struggle, I am at ease knowing maybe I need another couple of months before I could 36 it.

I've been blinded by showcases that show 4 stars that i also use manage to clear abyss on time. Forgetting that maybe they took multiple tries that they choose not to put on video, with whatever sick artifacts they already have lol. Good one mate!
A tip that will help people with Maguu Kenki teleporting everywhere:
After you do about 1/4 of his hp he does this ice and anemo attack which hits everyone around him and he becomes invincible. After that attack make sure that you are right in front of him and that his back is to the wall. He has a chance of doing his dash away attack (if he does his other attack just wait and attack him because his next attack will be the dash away one). Once he dashed back and has his back to the wall he will not do another dash and you can keep attacking him without having to chase him down! But remember to keep his back to the wall or else he has a chance of dashing away.
I Hope this helps someone.
Its estimated hp(inc resist) is about 3.5m hp. So good look with that.

moga malding over kenki’s dashing is lowkey funny since kenki’s one of the easiest boss AIs to manipulate. staying in front of him and keeping his back to the wall really helps a lot with keeping him in place! really cuts down on the time and malding spent on big robot samurai guy
on another note, a whole lot of first half problems really gets mitigated with raiden national, all the s, pyronado’s lack of icd, and raiden’s burst superarmor makes first half an absolute breeze. kazuha (with freeze for 12-2 ease or mono-cryo ayaka for 12-3 ease) on second half does the same

First my aggrevate team with zhongli was also getting wrecked by those chasm creatures then I did some research and found that they get crazy when they hit shield and then I used Yae, Fischl, Nahida and Kazuha and cleared it in under 1 min.😮😮

i was using a eula raiden/ yoimiya yunjin team for abyss but the worm stalled so much time that i had to switch around the yoimiya team after 5 tries, shit was so annoying but yoimiya carried as always very cool
