Normally I never, ever have problems with "stalling bosses" like Kenki, Ruin Serpent and the likes. But that Wenut, my god it actually drove me *tearing my hair out* insane.
Imo kenki was the easiest part of this abyss 😭😭 With kenki if you have Hu tao or yoimiya (basically single target dps) you should definitely be fine, but its the goddamn wenut thats torture
the worst part about this is that tighnari is unironically decent in this abyss cycle, it would have been far easier if only you had used anyone but Sara and zhongli

And after you stun it, the window of opportunity to do a decent amount of damage is too small, especially compared to other bosses with a downtime mechanic
I would suggest running Nahida instead of Zhongli and Yae instead of Sara, Tighnari is super OP when it comes to single target, idk why ppl say he doesn't have enough DPS to clear
Tighnari hyper makes great use of Zhongli and Sara, Sara is an elegy holder along with applying electro and giving an atk buff, Zhongli shreds Dendro and allows for interruption resistance, he can also use Deepwood if Nahida is holding Gilded dreams. I use Tigh, Nahida, Sara, and Zhongli for Tigh hyper and 36 star abyss.
@@Dnarte_ Yeah, but comparing with the EM buff that Nahida gives him... She pretty much makes him a beast bcs he turns all of Nahida's EM into DMG Bonus. That's at C0R0, and at C2 Nahida, the Def shred is really nice.
@@tusharsrivastava370 I have Yae built and her signature, I just prefer using Sara for buffing because she can also hold Instructors and Elegy comfortably. There arent many catalyst buffs besides TTDS but Sara's atk buff gives more atk.
I've done it with Zhongli without problems. My HuTao team cleared them 3* but sucked the rest while my Yoimiya team shredded the rest and was 3-4sec short on The Chasm dudes.

I have no idea why Temp said that Tighnari "doesn't have a high enough DPS" at 9:10. By all metrics he's an extremely strong single target DPS whose teams are comparable to the top tier single target comps like Hu Tao and Rational. The only downside to him is that he has no AoE coverage at all, but he can alleviate that somewhat by running teammates like Yae. I think a lot of people think that since he's a standard banner character that he's bad, but in reality he (and also Keqing to an extent) are very much very meta characters. The only issue was the choice of team, Sara is not a good choice due to how he scales off of EM more than ATK and provides limited value since her C6 is worthless for him, plus her cooldowns don't match at all. A better choice is to use Fischl and Yae, and then choose someone like Zhongli or Yaoyao for the last slot as defensive utility. Alternatively you choose one of Fischl or Yae and then slot in Nahida instead.
This is what we call "feelscrafting". Because he doesn't like Tighnari he's made-up a reason to put him down and pretend that that's an actual theory crafting take.
Tighnari at C0 R1 is really great as a quick swap character. And at c6 he’s so far the fastest in terms of speedeunning/DPS when compared with Nahida and Al Haitham. He’s solid

Tighnari's single target DPS is very strong and his teams are on par with or close to the top single target teams in the game like Hu Tao Double Hydro or Alhaitham's Spread/Quickbloom teams. The only downside is the lack of AoE but for single target bossing he is one of the best.
People get so caught up on the standard 5 star label. I have Alhaitham and Nahida, but there are some times when I choose Tighnari in the abyss instead or split them up among the different sides, just because I feel like playing him and know he is very capable,

Yesss. I love using Yae and Tighnari together. You can beat just about any boss with those two. He takes up the time after you place down Yae's turrets, and he can switch out so you can refresh them at any time. There aren't many bosses those two can't beat together. They're also my go-to for bosses like the wenut, ruin serpent, wolf lord, and maguu because they can both still deal damage from a far. It saves time running after wherever the boss is going to appear next.
The reason the lawachurls are such menaces is because they proc melt a lot when you're in Bennett's burst (I restarted countless times because of this only to still not be fast enough for the wenut).
Yep thats what 1 of bennet downside but yeah whatever just restart thingy. The best enemies for lavachurl definetely xiangling, cause itselt their shield so fast while also proccing melt. And once their shield is gone their less menace cause they get interupt ezly if they still alive.

Tighnari is the character I’ve invested the most resources into and he did great in this abyss (I managed to get 36 stars yay!) I’d definitely recommend him for second half (especially since he can get CAs off really quickly - super helpful for the wenut’s freakishly small dps windows!)😭 I used Tigh, Yae, Nahida, and Kuki. Though you really just need someone who can apply electro off field while you span Tighnari’s attacks since you don’t have to worry about taking damage from the wenut much
I actually tried using Tighnari this abyss and he shredded the second half of the first two chambers but I just could not get him to do chamber three. I think it’s because you can’t swirl Dendro so you never get the resistance drop and so he need more investment to do it. In the end I ended up using Raiden, Yelan, Kazuha, and Fischl. It was a tad unconventional and very hard to get through the first two chambers without dying but it was the only team of out like a Million I tried that actually worked.

It might honestly, and if I swapped out Zhongli for like Yaoyao or something for the Dendro resonance + deepwood but I wouldn’t be surprised if it still wasn’t enough since I wasn’t too too close to finishing up the boss. Still worth a shot and I might honestly try it.
@@swirlinginferno8353 I dont have many good deepwood pieces but the fantastic thing about them is that unless the character heavily relies on states, any four piece would be good enough since the bonus isnt affected by personal stats. It might be better with a c1 Yaoyao since she can have 15% dendro dmg bonus. I dont have Tighnari so I cant even test this if I wanted to
I disagree, I think triple Kenki is slightly better if you know how to manipulate the AI and keep them together and you have enough DPS you can burst them down faster than the single one because the single one has that phase-changing invincibility frame section And I think that Wenut is slightly less annoying than the ruined serpent cuz the ruins serpent in the abyss doesn't have a means of stunning it(outside spamming a bow user's normal attacks and hoping the auto-aim hits one of those openings that are glowing during the spinning phase) the Wenut if you hit two of those animal balls in the delayed swirl face it'll stun it and it'll game resistances to the elements you swirled
tighnari is not the problem dehya in the first team is the problem also the zhongli shield but u already addressed tht and break the cryo shield of the herald with benny bcoz c6 n 2units pyro on e with 1 sec cd

tighnari not for the abyss? he’s quickswap and has frontloaded dmg and that’s extremely valuable when most enemies in the abyss nowadays have bullshit s and stalls. he is perfect for the abyss boss floors
I'd never thought I'd be saying abyss was easier for me without bennett, used raiden hyperbloom for wenut and it was so much easier than with bennett, didn't know dendro was that op
I failed a few times on floor 12-1 chamber 2 because I had a hydro unit and characters that couldn't break shields but I'm stubborn and kept trying until I beat it. I feel like I'm the only person who cleared floors 12-2 and 12-3 first time easy but floor 12-1 I struggled with 🤣
Same, my first run i use Rational and Nilou bloom to get 35 star 💀 other chamber with Nilou is ez af but the wenut man.......need to change team because of this
As a Tighnari main he came in clutch with the WeNut easily take it down. I disagree with Tighnari not having enough DPS. He just need to be right teams with proper rotation
Fun fact: If you are standing on Bennett's burst and the Rockbreaker Ax hits you with geo or with his Leyline disorder it will create a crystalized shield close to yourself, and if you pick it by accident it will count towards all the other Black Serpent Knights buffs that activate upon hiting a shielded character
@@ActualZombie it's literally true, the same reason why the maguu kenki(s) can proc melt on you and oneshot you, or why the consecrated beasts can overload you to death, or why you can kill the geovishap w/o a shield character as long as you get hit in time and generate a pyro crystalize shield
@@hyeongpinkz Yes the geo waves do proc crystallise on you if you have an aura on yourself but the crystallise shield doesn't trigger the knights's mechanics at all. The OP and the person below my comment are straight up lying or just had a mandela effect moment(more likely).

Temp has never been so wrong... Got 36 stars with Tighnari/Nahida/Raiden/Kazuha on the 2nd half. I literally have 36 starred with him for a few months now
For tighnari, I like running him with fischl/sara, yae miko, and yaoyao. Double electro and double dendro is pretty nice with him. Plus c1 yao yao with deepwood helps his damage a bit.
i wish this guy would put just 40% more critical thought into his teams before starting 😭😭 i normally wouldnt complain but the fact he’s a giga whale AND has to complain so much is so soooo annoying 😭 just use a functional team for once and maybe you’ll clear it!!! Im F2P and obliterated this abyss first try with raiden national top half and Haitham aggravate second half..

Small thing about the serpant knights The reason why they drop shields is because they get hit by your shields that have been deployed. They sorta force you to not use shields. Small lesson for those that use Zhongli on second half Also I still can't clear the wenut
Moga you are getting one shotted by those enemies most likely because you are in Bennett's burst which gives you pyro aura so their cryo attacks are getting melted and doing a lot more dmg
I am starting to think that moga is purposefully ignoring some of our comments he JUST revistsed yae some of us even talked about her tighnari team and yet NOTHING 5 minute planing teams and not thought behind doghing or learning enemy patterns sure if he was using different teams for content that would be understandable but i am genuinely starting to think that moga just doesn’t know how to

I am struggling soo much on the last chamber, especially because of the first half, they keep killing you, even if u are using a shield, thats completely not fair😭
freeze is the way to go there, i struggled so much with my Al Haitham team, they just kept killing me, even with Kuki and Bennett healing, i was extremely pissed off and decided to bring my Ayaka, she saved my ass LMAO and she can easily deal with hydro shields in 12-1, Ayaka best girl
@@bai_reina Remember Bennet constantly applies pyro to your chars, effectively doubling the dmg of cryo enemies (specially bad for strong single hits). Xingqiu works better for tanking such amounts of dmg.
Yae would have been much better than Sara since she does damage and tighnari doesn't really need atk as much. And since the chasm enemies are on 2nd half and the wenut barely attacks zhongli could have been replaced with nahida who would buff the whole team

Dude why do u insist on using sara with tiegnari? That s not a good duo, but in the other hand, fischl+tiegnari is godly with kuki as a healer. JUST STOP USING SARA WITH TIEGNARI, the boost may be good but it s not consistant and so cluncky, it s hard to watch. I mean it s not impossible to use but fischl is soooooo much better in comfort AND dmg wise. Sara is only best support for raiden at c6.
I knew I wasn’t the only one who hated this. I did it yesterday and, oh god, did I suffer. Those cryo mages and their shields, the amount of time the hydro hypostasis spends just sitting there, ANOTHER maguu kenki. I also had to re-do floor 11 because I narrowly missed three stars on the third floor by taking too long destroying the slimes and didn’t restart in time. What is with these spiral abysses lately?
On today's episode of "Moga doesn't understand enemy mechanics". Watch him repeatedly bring Zhongli against 6 Black serpent enemies while he is on the brink of insanity.
I recommend using Alhaitham nahida shogun shinobu for floor 12 second chamber. They can deal with hydro shield fast and obliterate enemy faster in general. My build are not that good but i can still clear floor 12 with full stars. Replacing alhaitham with tighnari will also works i guess (i don’t have him but looking at his charged atk i think it must be good)
I'm pretty sure even without normals Fischl is much more recommended than Kuki and Sara here Being short 1 sec when you're bringing two defensive characters and a dedicated electro support to a dendro character kinda hurts to look at

Ik u may not see this, but a team I love is nahida (dendro support) tighnari (wanderers troupe) kokomi (tank/healer) and yae with (2 piece electro bonus and 2 piece em)
Moga, try out a dendro/dendro/kuki/kokomi or electro/dendro/kuki/kokomi team comps! Double heal is super useful in the abyss and it still procs hyperblooms effectively (esp if kuki is tripple em)!
IDK HOW BUT IT WAS FALLING EVERY 2 SECONDS, I don't know any of his mechanics and completed the floor without restarts, defeated and forgot like it was a nightmare 😖

Wenut is just straight up a torture inducing material for us TBH...I was flying through all the floors and then the wenut happened...35 star it is and I not willing to put myself through the pain again to get the last star..!!!
As soon as I saw the Wenut, I knew that I’d hate it in abyss. It’s fine in the regular world. But as always everything annoying about the bosses is magnified 10x in the abyss.
9:08 bruh tighnari is one the highest burst dps in the game he takes like 4 seconds on field to use all his abilities. You just need a another dps probably a alhaitham or something❤
By the way moga those serpent knights only get pyro shield because they hit your shield, have you not used a shielder in 12 2 2nd part they wouldnt have gotten shield themselves
12 chamber 1 & 2 were a walk in the park but, chamber 3 is a but annoying, luckily not difficult and doable. Edit: Luckily i still did it, i just needed to replace Nahida with c6 sara, just had 1 second to spare😂

I like how mihoyo catered this abyss towards dehya by nerfing Zhongli with the shield destroyer/generator guys and the ice lawa churls and heralds + the Pyro bonuses, but still she's underperforming.

Yoi, Yelan, Nahida shred through him pretty easily and it's actually the first abyss where my Yoimiya fared better than HuTao.

Yesss. I love using Yae and Tighnari together. You can beat just about any boss with those two. He takes up the time after you place down Yae's turrets, and he can switch out so you can refresh them at any time. There aren't many bosses those two can't beat together. They're also my go-to for bosses like the wenut, ruin serpent, wolf lord, and maguu because they can both still deal damage from a far. It saves time running after wherever the boss is going to appear next.

The reason the lawachurls are such menaces is because they proc melt a lot when you're in Bennett's burst (I restarted countless times because of this only to still not be fast enough for the wenut).

Yep thats what 1 of bennet downside but yeah whatever just restart thingy. The best enemies for lavachurl definetely xiangling, cause itselt their shield so fast while also proccing melt. And once their shield is gone their less menace cause they get interupt ezly if they still alive.

Tighnari is the character I’ve invested the most resources into and he did great in this abyss (I managed to get 36 stars yay!) I’d definitely recommend him for second half (especially since he can get CAs off really quickly - super helpful for the wenut’s freakishly small dps windows!)😭
I used Tigh, Yae, Nahida, and Kuki. Though you really just need someone who can apply electro off field while you span Tighnari’s attacks since you don’t have to worry about taking damage from the wenut much
I actually tried using Tighnari this abyss and he shredded the second half of the first two chambers but I just could not get him to do chamber three. I think it’s because you can’t swirl Dendro so you never get the resistance drop and so he need more investment to do it. In the end I ended up using Raiden, Yelan, Kazuha, and Fischl. It was a tad unconventional and very hard to get through the first two chambers without dying but it was the only team of out like a Million I tried that actually worked.

It might honestly, and if I swapped out Zhongli for like Yaoyao or something for the Dendro resonance + deepwood but I wouldn’t be surprised if it still wasn’t enough since I wasn’t too too close to finishing up the boss. Still worth a shot and I might honestly try it.

I dont have many good deepwood pieces but the fantastic thing about them is that unless the character heavily relies on states, any four piece would be good enough since the bonus isnt affected by personal stats. It might be better with a c1 Yaoyao since she can have 15% dendro dmg bonus. I dont have Tighnari so I cant even test this if I wanted to
12-3-2 is weird, but I'm glad MiHoYo was easy on us, because ofc they don't want to give us anxiety.
I disagree, I think triple Kenki is slightly better if you know how to manipulate the AI and keep them together and you have enough DPS you can burst them down faster than the single one because the single one has that phase-changing invincibility frame section
And I think that Wenut is slightly less annoying than the ruined serpent cuz the ruins serpent in the abyss doesn't have a means of stunning it(outside spamming a bow user's normal attacks and hoping the auto-aim hits one of those openings that are glowing during the spinning phase) the Wenut if you hit two of those animal balls in the delayed swirl face it'll stun it and it'll game resistances to the elements you swirled
Tighnari never leaves my side in the abyss. He breezed through the wenut, no resets.

This abyss forced me to do two separate runs for the first time in a long time. Like a *really long time*.
I failed a few times on floor 12-1 chamber 2 because I had a hydro unit and characters that couldn't break shields but I'm stubborn and kept trying until I beat it.
I feel like I'm the only person who cleared floors 12-2 and 12-3 first time easy but floor 12-1 I struggled with 🤣
Same, my first run i use Rational and Nilou bloom to get 35 star 💀 other chamber with Nilou is ez af but the wenut man.......need to change team because of this
As a Tighnari main he came in clutch with the WeNut easily take it down. I disagree with Tighnari not having enough DPS. He just need to be right teams with proper rotation

If you are standing on Bennett's burst and the Rockbreaker Ax hits you with geo or with his Leyline disorder it will create a crystalized shield close to yourself, and if you pick it by accident it will count towards all the other Black Serpent Knights buffs that activate upon hiting a shielded character

@@hyeongpinkz Yes the geo waves do proc crystallise on you if you have an aura on yourself but the crystallise shield doesn't trigger the knights's mechanics at all. The OP and the person below my comment are straight up lying or just had a mandela effect moment(more likely).

Temp has never been so wrong... Got 36 stars with Tighnari/Nahida/Raiden/Kazuha on the 2nd half. I literally have 36 starred with him for a few months now
For tighnari, I like running him with fischl/sara, yae miko, and yaoyao. Double electro and double dendro is pretty nice with him. Plus c1 yao yao with deepwood helps his damage a bit.

Small thing about the serpant knights
The reason why they drop shields is because they get hit by your shields that have been deployed. They sorta force you to not use shields. Small lesson for those that use Zhongli on second half

Moga you are getting one shotted by those enemies most likely because you are in Bennett's burst which gives you pyro aura so their cryo attacks are getting melted and doing a lot more dmg

freeze is the way to go there, i struggled so much with my Al Haitham team, they just kept killing me, even with Kuki and Bennett healing, i was extremely pissed off and decided to bring my Ayaka, she saved my ass LMAO and she can easily deal with hydro shields in 12-1, Ayaka best girl
@@bai_reina Remember Bennet constantly applies pyro to your chars, effectively doubling the dmg of cryo enemies (specially bad for strong single hits). Xingqiu works better for tanking such amounts of dmg.

And since the chasm enemies are on 2nd half and the wenut barely attacks zhongli could have been replaced with nahida who would buff the whole team

Dude why do u insist on using sara with tiegnari? That s not a good duo, but in the other hand, fischl+tiegnari is godly with kuki as a healer. JUST STOP USING SARA WITH TIEGNARI, the boost may be good but it s not consistant and so cluncky, it s hard to watch. I mean it s not impossible to use but fischl is soooooo much better in comfort AND dmg wise. Sara is only best support for raiden at c6.

I knew I wasn’t the only one who hated this. I did it yesterday and, oh god, did I suffer. Those cryo mages and their shields, the amount of time the hydro hypostasis spends just sitting there, ANOTHER maguu kenki. I also had to re-do floor 11 because I narrowly missed three stars on the third floor by taking too long destroying the slimes and didn’t restart in time. What is with these spiral abysses lately?
And also the consecrated beasts. They annoyed me so much that mentally blocked the memory

Just realized Dehya was supposed to counter the black serpents but they scuffed her kit so much they nerfed everything
I recommend using Alhaitham nahida shogun shinobu for floor 12 second chamber. They can deal with hydro shield fast and obliterate enemy faster in general. My build are not that good but i can still clear floor 12 with full stars.
Replacing alhaitham with tighnari will also works i guess (i don’t have him but looking at his charged atk i think it must be good)

This spiral abyss floor 12 isn’t hard. You literally just can’t attack the bosses half the time.

Tighnari is not really good as a hyper carry, if your team was Tighnari, zhongli, Fischl and Nahida/Yae it would be better
You should've tried Tighnari, Nahida, Raiden/Miko and then maybe Zhongli. Fischl is sub optimal for characters that rely on charged attacks.
Ik u may not see this, but a team I love is nahida (dendro support) tighnari (wanderers troupe) kokomi (tank/healer) and yae with (2 piece electro bonus and 2 piece em)

Moga, try out a dendro/dendro/kuki/kokomi or electro/dendro/kuki/kokomi team comps! Double heal is super useful in the abyss and it still procs hyperblooms effectively (esp if kuki is tripple em)!

As soon as I saw the Wenut, I knew that I’d hate it in abyss. It’s fine in the regular world. But as always everything annoying about the bosses is magnified 10x in the abyss.
For future Moga. Chasm dudes WILL GET a shield if they HIT YOURS! Next time avoid using a shielder for that chamber! Or be a dodge god xD

12 chamber 1 & 2 were a walk in the park but, chamber 3 is a but annoying, luckily not difficult and doable.
