    Excellent video Graham full of useful, informative & relevant content. Many of the established detailing channels would do well to follow your structure instead of promoting themselves as the Yoda of all things related to valeting etc. It's easy to say but you should take no notice of the sycophantic detractors, as yours, Martin's , David's and Marks are mostly the only ones really worth watching.. I wouldn't let the majority of others anywhere near my cars & most don't have the courtesy to reply or acknowledge to comments. As for the MJJC, it looks good enough but when it is on general sale in the UK, any seller will sell you a foam cannon but won't stock a range of consumables or if they do they will be at inflated prices as with the V2. The bottle looks susceptible to damage & there are no spare mesh filters included. I have a V2 & and a MTM PF22.2 & a PF22, but the V2 is relegated to using up my BH Autofoam which won't be replaced The MTM's are by far the best overall cannons in my opinion, the only drawback is the bottle opening but that would entail a complete new casting so i doubt that would happen, but really it's not that big a deal. The consistency of the foam is completely different to the MJJC & that could only be improved by dialing back the mixture control but that would as you said lessen the PIR. It definitely has its place in the market for the likes of Bilt Hamber etc but i wouldn't buy another one as my go to foam cannon, however it's easier to strip down for maintenance but pointless if you can't get spares. Great work, keep it up 👍🏻

      Wow Alan thank you so much mate!!, so you’ve noticed I get ignored by the ‘celebrity’ TH-camrs too eh 😉 doesn’t bother me in the slightest , they’re too busy entertaining mental health frauds to know good content when it’s there , the subscribers are growing fast and I’ll keep on doing what I do for guys like you who appreciate all the efforts , it really does make it all worth while so thank you again.
      Hopefully Martin, Mark & Dave will see this too as I’ve pinned it to the top of all comments 🙌🏻🙌🏻

      @@GMDetails As an an experiment Graham, i bought a clone off Aliexpres £14 delivered in 12 days.The manifold is identical to the MJJC minus the engraving and the colouring is almost the same and came with a proper stainless quick connect.. The fan assembly & actions are excellent and i assume are the same as the MJJC and the 5 gram fitted mesh filter which i swapped out for the MJJC 3 part set fits in exactly the same. The clear PET bottle is a bit shorter & wider with a bigger inlet and it has the same raised bottom centre to accommodatethe a weighted filter. i bought a very soft flexible pick up tube & a better quality stainless filter gravity ball and tried it out on Saturday with excellent results & drained every drop from the bottle. Better foam with BH Autofoam than the V2, £20 in all .. I mention the fitted mesh filter because i bought 2 from Yum cars for my PF22.2s at a cost of £17 delivered but i weighed them & they are only 2.7 gram, the cheapest of the cheapest !!! bloody robbers & i will never buy from them again. The 5 gram filters are only 60p on Aliexpress. Doubt that i will use the foam cannon much but just wanted to see if i could do it😂😂. Think we are being taken for mugs by the detailing industry, a lot of hype at a lot of cost to us.👍🏻

    Great comparison and explanations. I got the V2 and was shocked at how quickly it used up the product and also how quickly the foam slid off. I use BH so was interested in seeing if thicker foam improved things; it did not. Costs more in product and less effective dwell time so will be looking to get MTM if can find at decent price.

    • @GMDetails

  • @richscott2483
    @richscott2483 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I choose MJJC Pro which has Balance, a wider container mouth opening, threaded stays on better, a nice container shape and is affordable. V3.0 has a clear bottle and easier-to-see markings, if dropped the bottle may pop off or crack, more expensive than Pro makes little sense. The headpiece is the same build just V3 has a different bottleneck size.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice one Rich!, I can only advice you to thoroughly rinse the lance out after every use and don’t use it for applying spray and rinse sealants as it has 2 gauzes and a foam buffer , so 3 times the foaming parts of any other lance , do that and it’ll last years!!

    I'm with Martin @OCD on this offering but if the 3 foam canons I have from Angelwax and Autobrite ever expire it would be on my wish list but by then we will be looking at V10 I'm sure. I was looking forward to your views on M & K Snow but you didn't comment. Interesting video as usual. I am waiting for someone to tell me definitively how much better PIR to standard 1 to 9 dilution is in cleaning a car.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks John, I had a sorry, 4 different Angelwax lances and returned every one of them and when I went back, there was a box full of them 😳 so I hope they’ve sorted their issues with it , no issues with the Autobrite ones I have , they are brilliant
      Re the snowfoam, I didn’t give any feelings towards the snow foam as the MJJC made it all fall to the floor. Where the MTM made it cling longer but I wasn’t paying particular attention to cleaning power of the two as I was concentrating on the MJJC for the review , but I was impressed with Snow for the record
      PIR , well it’s really only Bilt Hamber that really mentions it and doesn’t give a choice so calculating PIR would only benefit you if you want to use Autofoam or Garage Therapy foams , most brands use a standard dilution method to keep it simple

    • @johnbrown3951
      @johnbrown3951 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GMDetails Re PIR I thought that would be your answer but I do appreciate the reply. I have never used Bilt Hamber products apart from Atom Mac. Re the M&K Snow it looked like it was removing dirt for you in the dirty suds under the car. My Angelwax lances keep getting clogged but that maybe was my fault if I forget to rinse them out after use but I have a stock of gauze's now and apertures in different sizes so I can maintain them and have had no issues since and have upgraded to quick release so I can use with my stubby gun. The only thing is I like the thicker bottomed reservoir and the weighted pick up tube on the newer ones as mine are unstable empty like you highlighted.

    However, for anything else this might just be a bit of overkill.
    The only thing I will ask though is, before you did the comparison, did you strip down the MTM and descale the metal gauze?
    I dont know what the water hardness is like where you are, but in my experience they clog with limescale and sediment very easily and that just hampers the foam.
    I have to descale my guaze at least once a quarter.

      Thanks mate, ah good thinking but no there’s absolutely zero chance of scale where I am, the softest of unicorn tears water flows from our taps here 😅
      I also flush out the lances after every use and don’t use lance applied sealants with them so the gauze is fine , the MJJC has ramped up the ability to make even thicker foam than before and although it’s great for photographs you have to apply it quick so you don’t create the thick layers that are too heavy to cling , or maybe stand further back while applying it 🤔

      @@GMDetails hehehe. Interesting. So definitely one for the slightly lower foaming snow foams or those with very under-powered pressure washers then!
      Here down south, my water is harder than Rocky Balboa! 🤣

    Great review, mate 👍
    For me the MTM gave the better consistency - not as heavy or dry and more bubbles.
    Don’t really like the looks of the new MJJC but could be a good opportunity for people to pick up the last model cheaper when this one is released haha

      Thanks Craig, hmmm not sure as MJJC are keeping v1 , v2 and v3 all current choices depending on budget but if you have the money for one , MTM would be the one for me long term

      @@GMDetails just looked on the website cos I’ve never actually looked at their range and it seems like they’ve confused things with version numbers (maybe based on product release). Their range is;
      Classic
      S
      Pro
      And this new lance is an upgrade to the S model.
      Interesting stuff!

    I wouldn't recommend leaving water in the bottle to go stagnant....it's still too top-heavy and won't ever become part of my set-up. The v2 Pro is fine in every department!
