Thank yo so much for this video, We are planning to go to Curacao on our next trip. This video really made it easy to see what to expect before the trip. My wife loves Aruba so happy to see about Curacao. Love that it has more of an authentic feel as well. A wealth of knowledge! Truly this thorough guide! Truly appreciate it
Aruba has always been my dream place to visit…Of all the videos I’ve watched this is the best description. I’ve been torn between picking Curacao or Tulum for my 50th. I was leaning to Curacao even though I think Tulum nightlife would be great but I’m loving Curacao…plus 50% of my guest would be over 50… more relaxation and sightseeing.. I’m still torn but will decide soon…maybe I’ll do Curacao then go to Aruba make it a 7 day trip
Thank you so much for your comment! It’s always hard to make a decision, love Tulum too so much to discover. Curaçao would definitely be more relaxing although they do have a great nightlife too. Check out our other video for more info: th-cam.com/video/irO_xv2a7UY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kiwAnsWM4g3zLWL8 it is very detailed and also mentions the nightlife. Have an amazing 50th birthday wherever you choose to go! Thanks again for the support 😊☺️
What an awesome comparison between Aruba and Curacao!!! 💕💕 Both look absolutely amazing, who can choose lol I think we will have to plan to visit both 😁😁😁😁
Thanks for watching! I think I will put a poll in the messages to see how many people choose which island. Those two islands are so amazing it’s a hard decision. Have a great day! 😊
Hi! Thanks for watching! We didn’t go from Aruba to Curaçao directly. We went first to Curacao, and 4 months later went to Aruba. But there are some airlines that do the trip between islands. They are mentioned at the end of the video. Are you planning to do both during the same trip?
If you know the island's histories, you'll know that culturally, historically and architecturally Curacao is where almost everything originated (including the language "papiamentu"). So if anything, it's the other way around ;-)
@@Dennis-xj8nh Nope. Google the origins: "Papiamentu emerged from the pidgin Portuguese of the Africans, the Portuguese of the Jews, and a bit of Dutch from the Dutch. Whites (Dutch and Jews) learned the emerging creole to communicate with slaves. The creole stabilized on Curaçao around 1700, then spread to Bonaire and Aruba." Arubans changed it to Papiamento as they did with all of the words ending on "u"

Thank you very much for your kind comment. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hmmm - sounds like you can't go bad with either, but Aruba would be my choice.

Thanks for watching! Same for moving (to either islands) in a heartbeat. One day… we are actually talking about it.
This video is so helpful, what transportation did you take to get from Aruba to curaçao

Love this video! Hard to choose so we’ll do both 😝
Thank you so much! I agree, visiting both is the way to go 😂
Using the drone with the circle hyperlapse function around the shipwreck, would have been sweet!
Thanks for watching! We’ll have to check this function out for next time, we’ve not tried it yet. Thank you for the tip! 😊
@@globetrottinggang what drone are you using?

Very nice video
Thank you so much 😊
Curacao is my definite choice. Aruba seems to have lost a bit of its aura with the overdevelopment (imo). Beautiful island nonetheless!
Curacao is a great choice. It has so much to offer. I love both, but Curacao has a special place in my heart.

Thank you 😊
Curaçao = knock off Aruba
Do you mean Curaçao is Aruba’s knock off? Or that Curaçao is knocking off Aruba? Not too sure of what this comment means.
