Loving the content as always, I just wish your podcast was free, used to watch the episode on TH-cam and then re listen to the podcast when driving. in a time where everything is becoming paid subscriptions, life is becoming more expensive, I just can’t justify adding another subscription service 😢.
People are so used to having “free” contents that its almost as if it is a cash grab to have a paid subscription. If you put time and money into something, you expect to get something back in return. Why should these guys have to pay for the production out of their own pockets? Does your boss expect you to work for free when you go to work? These guys could also do something else rather than doing this - its called opportunity cost. Its not as if the episodes are exclusive to paying members only, they just get it earlier than those who don’t. Im just glad these guys produce these contents and I would be happy to pay 5 quid per month for a few hours of entertainment and help this channel continue. Please don’t cry about it.
It is different yeah - just subscribed yesterday. Way I look at it is for price of a coffee getting hours or decent content - and nice to support people you like.. Vs some of todays mainstream media… but I do also appreciate and feel the number of subs can add up fast if not careful. I do think people should be paid for quality out out / value they provide though so on balance am ok paying a little.
When you create content you want to build your following, that’s why production costs come out of your pockets. I’m just tired of paying monthly subscriptions for everything, it’s not about just one £5 subscription. Theres apple cloud, Microsoft office, Spotify, photoshop, accounting software, car extras, TH-cam, Netflix and so much more. Spotify should charge more and then pay the channels or make us listen to ads during the podcast. And with regards to the content, it’s locked unless your a paid subscriber.
@@GNO1 didnt they do that? It was completely free for a year. They have around 500k followers together (admittedly alot would overlap) and are spending alot of time producing content. If you listen to their first episode, they specifically say the content would be available for all, but the subscribers will get it first. Also, they still upload stuff on TH-cam and do livestreams, don’t know what the fuss is about. MS, accounting and photoshop are likely to be for work, not entertainment so its strange that you would include these as well. It does sound a bit like you are saying you wish this was free because you want to keep TH-cam and Netflix subscriptions…

Consider this: Hemingway is beloved by all sorts of people, from the non-educated to the scholar. His work is widely appreciated and has inspired generations of writers. When I think of 3 no-limitations watches, I keep coming back to Omega Speedmaster and Rolex Submariner (16610 pre-ceramic). These watches might seem "boring", overexposed and achievable. Still, these are timeless masterpieces that I have the privilege of owning (20 years into collecting) and would want in any collection, regardless of cost and attainability. It's all about looking at the wrist and having that unique "wrist presence satisfaction" throughout the years. It's common for watch enthusiasts to overlook what they have and lust after the next one.
The comment on the hermes h08 should have said that it is a way better deal, not necessarily better in every respect. Pressed too fast. 🙄 But an awesome watch, very different but appealing design! Congratulations on the 50k!
Hi in answer to your Qs what watch did AET influence me to buy. Omega Seamaster 300 Green Dial. After the London shoot out I went all in and waited a long time to get one. A great looking watch. I wish that was the end however. The bezel was not aligned correctly and Omega pushed back hard that the off centre pip was "within tolerance", I am not having that and my watch is still at Omega Australia for review. 4 months I have owned the watch, but only 2 weeks I have actually had it to wear. Keep up the great work and content.
Bought a TAG Heuer Carrera Re-Edition Chronograph 18k yellow gold. TBH it had nothing to do with your recommendations but I did notice prices went up in them by 10% so I’ll give you fellas the credit for that
If I am honest I don't think the dial side quick release bracelet on the Hublot is a good design choice as it would be much better on the back side. Hublot do make some interesting watches and I am sure their build quality is very good.

The fact that we live in a distorted world where people buy what is advertised without caring for the price, doesn't mean that we shouldn't point out when a product Is overpriced. I understand that the price in these case is also positioning, but information is the only way for the consumer to make a conscious purchase. I can still like a Hublot classic fusion regardless of the price, but I should know about the ETA movement to make an informed decision.

The issue with high prices has nothing to do with whether brands can’t sell those watches. It is that they price out people who would love to enjoy them. Whatever the reason brands do it (enhance/increase brand perception/prestige, supply chain issues, etc…), it sucks for the enthusiast who used to buy two or three great watches for a certain dollar amount and can now only pick up one … and in the process feels like they’re being gauged.

Bought a Grand Seiko SBGN005 Blue dial because of Adrian’s review, he was correct amazing almost perfect watch, Adrian just had a awful colour which he could not match with anything, he should of purchased the blue or black dial and I have no doubt he would of never of bothered with an explorer 2.

Manual wind, thin coin edge bezel wears like a 36mm Yes there are many more cool designs out there costing a king's ransom but I really don't want to actually own or wear them. I don't think they will look good on my wrist. I do own 27 watches in my collection including 4 Rolex GMT/datejust turn-0-graph/Sub/Precision, 3 Omega seamaster 300's black/seaweed/NTTD, U-Boat U-42, Fortis cosmonaute, Christopher Ward bel canto, Longines bronze compressor diver, Tag Heuer chronograph, Dan Henry skin diver Sinn U1, Gylcine Airman, Zodiac Super Seawolf meteorite dial, and more that I like switching between daily now after wearing the same Rolex Submariner for over 2 decades.

Tambour - Nothing exciting to look at and only 50 m water resistance. No micro adjustment? The movement is nice but not amazing, 50h is the absolute minimum for a modern watch, especially at this price. Personally the price for me is quite a bit inflated. 12k would be closer to the mark.
