It must have been 1978. I had just finished teaching an evening class at the Univesidad Autonoma and as I walked past an auditorium a door was ajar and Marina Rossell was singing La Gavina. It was magic and it went aound in my head all the way back to where I lived in the mountains beyond Montseny.
