@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors we enjoy them every week me and the wee man. This week was even better after the most miserable bout of covid you can imagine so the beer and pizza went down a treat, was waiting on the sherpas hand to reach out if the TV for a slice at one stage 😁 My adventures for the year are over as the wife will be off her feet next week for a few weeks so roll on 2025 and in the meantime I will.live it out through you and the gimp 😁
@ cheers mate, hope your on the mend. I just call him the claw these days, as soon as he hears the rustle of a bag open out comes the hand 😂. You will be back at it in the new year then for some camps ⛺️
The mournes Mountain man strikes again.....absolutely class mate....those clouds weren't half shifting at the top !!! Looked like a great route mate. 👌👍 loved it as always..ATB Simon
@@YONDERMOUNTAINADVENTURES Thank you so much Simon mate. I could watch the clouds all day to be honest, just unfortunately it’s too cold 😂. Cracking wee route and hopefully get a camp on soon enough 👍
Nice one. I’d rather be out in the morning too, be the one coming off the hill as the sleepy heads start 😂 Not May paths in bits, sheep and deer tracks are handy. A stunning range of hills. , the work in those walls. 👍
@@cowalexplorer cheers Fraser 👍. The morning has to the best time of day hasnt it. Ahh the Mournes are wonderful mate and like you say that wall is unreal considering in was built over 100 years ago, crazy to think how they even built it.
@@alanlyness8413 Cheers Alan. Yea definitely worth a go even though it was a small hike but you could throw in a few summits to extend the route. You out this weekend?
@@Roam.Outdoors Excellent news, welcome to the channel guys 👍. It was a great afternoon out, just a small hike to the Summit of Meelbeg, checking out a few potential camping spots. Always nice to find like minded people, cheers for the sub, I have done the same and looking forward to catching up your channel 👍 🥾 ⛰️ ⛺️
@@OutdoorswithAdrian Cheers Adrian. Yea just fancied something different, you can’t go wrong with that one just keep going straight up 😂. Did you get out this weekend?
@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors No not today I'll see what the weather's like tomorrow. But could end up a stay at home weekend which is well needed to be honest. I'm kinda sick of looking at the bad weather up the mournes lately.
It's a new route to me Geoff, I've only ever followed the wall up in which ever direction I'm going. Did the Sherpa find any camping spots? I can't say I've ever seen a tent on that one and I definitely didn't see any spots.
@@ExploreAboveAndBelow Hi Morgan. Same as us heading up Slieve Meelbeg but this route was decent. We camped in col between Meelbeg and Meelmore a while back and went to the summit of Meelbeg for sunset and there was a fella camping there, he was the first we seen camping on the summit of Meelbeg. On the ridge itself there was one or two spots but they wouldn’t be the flattest of pitches to be honest.
Anyone done this route before? Is it called the North West Ridge?
Wow really amazing such a relaxing view love it my friend 💚💚😍😍😍🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@AnupAdventures thank you so much this, very much appreciated 👍. Always good to get out and try different routes 🥾 ⛰️
Friday night, beer is in the glass and pizza is on the plate. Let's go lads!
@@WHAN381 Morning Wayne, excellent I hope you enjoyed the hike, just a quick one this week but a new route for the channel. 👍 🥾 ⛰️
