@@donsample1002 It's a standard in architecture for stairs to be at a 30° angle or a rise over run ratio to equal the same if the space or application allows for it.

for any sense "imaginary" numbers are real, the correct name it's complex numbers

Imaginary numbers -> numbers that can be expressed with b * sqrt(-1)
Complex numbers -> numbers that can be expressed with a + b * sqrt(-1)
Every imaginary number is a complex number but not vice versa

When it came to the Science the show-runners worked pretty hard to keep it as accurate as possible. Bringing Mayim Bialik into the show helped that tremendously
However, they got one major fact wrong (probably also others but I'm still at the beginning of the show and I also don't know physics or maths well enough to spot any major mistakes. But at some point, either Sheldon or Amy (I forgot who it was), explains that one hemisphere of the brain is responsible for creativity, whereas the other is more for logical thinking and the first thing you learn in a psychology degree is that this couldn't be more wrong. Moreover, I think quite some people would know this as well. I was just confused as to why Sheldon or Amy would get this wrong (especially since the Mayim Bialik is a neuroscientist in real life...)
@@cmk1309 several points: 1) I said they work hard to keep it accurate, I never said they were anally retentive about it. 2) in the end it's still just a show, like all other shows it tends to be much more entertaining if you don't sweat the petty details. And 3) while I'm not a science expert either I'm pretty sure a psychology degree wouldn't go very deeply into the exact physical workings of the brain, that's Neuro-biology, Dr. Bialik's specialty, psychology is more dealing with emotions and mental health.
