    Best tutorial ever! Never had to pause (except when instructed) and was CRYSTAL clear!!! Thank you for including US terms you’re awesome

    I have made this so many times I wish I could like it again and again. Last year I made a few of these as ornament gifts and then decided to make several to make a garland for my sister as a gift. She loved it so much. This year my oldest daughter asked if I would make her a garland like my sister's so here we are! You are my favorite TH-camr for crochet tutorials. You are so good at doing things slow and really showing clearly in the work where to crochet next. I appreciate that.🎄

    Do cats like you particularly? My cat doesn't usually seem to care when I'm listening to things on my phone but he was fascinated by your voice when I watched this. He kept peeking around the back of my phone trying to see where your voice was coming from!

    So many things make this an exceptional instructional video!
    I love how you post when to pause the video with clear delineations from one video section to the next, and that you also include the instructions for what to continue with during that pause. I also especially like that you refer back to the completed item so we know what we've just done, and what we're looking to do for the next round, rather than having to imagine it as a concept rather than actually seeing it. This is awesome!
    Lastly, I like how you repeat saying the stitches as you go, and you do that throughout. So many videos assume that once you've "got the hang of it", that the instructor can just keep on going at speed (without saying anything) and assume that those of us who are relative novices have an idea what's going on.
    You are an excellent teacher!

      @@bellacococrochet I'm new to your channel and honestly, I have learned more in watching just two videos thus far, than the dozens and dozens of videos I've checked out over the years!
      I was just taking a look at your channel and came across the video from 5 years ago about keeping a straight edge. I thought I had finally conquered the problem recently, and was making two Christmas blankets as part of a donation to the local animal shelter. They started off great and next thing you know they started flaring out (which you address in the straight edge video) and in trying to adjust my work, next thing I know it was all tapering inwards LOL Very disappointing, especially when it started so well. Hopefully the critters won't mind ❤️
      So excited about your channel, this may be the first one I've ever sent a contribution to 💖
      The videos that first appeared on my feed were from a few years back, I was hoping the channel was still active and so pleased to see that it is 🙂

I cross-stitched for one of my daughters and this snowflake is for another. I have ideas for my boys too. Thank you for these videos. You're my favorite crochet tutorial youtuber.🌟

    Hi, this is a really sweet snowflake! I've bought a load of aran weight yarn because so many beginner patterns say to use that; do you think this would work with aran weight yarn and a 5mm hook? (I suppose I could always give it a go and frog it if it looks terrible, but just wondered if you think it's worth trying or not). Thanks :)

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, I'm glad you like it 😊 There is definitely no harm in trying; it should work up a little thicker and chunkier with aran yarn but will still look very pretty I think.

    • @bellacococrochet

      The best way to find out is to try it 😊 You could create a single picot at each point and work a double crochet (UK terms) into the stitch either side.
