I literally learned how to crochet an hour ago, and you explain and show this so well that I don't need to search up any other videos to help explain :) appreciate that
following this pattern was not just easy, it was a delight, I'll be giving these little stars to my family and friends as ornaments, thank you so much from Chile! 💕
June 2023. 👋🏽 From NYC, Thank you Mary!! I combined 2 different red yarns to make my star. One shimmery red and one simple red. I used an acrylic #4 Metallic Red Heart yarn with a red cotton Peaches & Crème brand #4 yarn. The shimmer made the color stand out beautifully. It feels thick and sturdy as a coaster, a handbag design or for any decoration. Thank for your very kind patience🙏🌺
Love love love this pattern! I’ve been looking for the perfect design for my Christmas garland and I found you! I love granny square designs so thank you for this wonderfully easy and beautiful design! 👍🏽😊🙌🏽
i've been crocheting for about 5 years now and this was such a great tutorial! i love the slip stitch trick at the end for the point of the star nice :)

Hello Mary, love this little project, I am so pleased that I have found a crotchet Lady that uses UK terminology, even some ladies that actually live in the UK use US terms, they are so confusing! Thank you very much xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx take care
Omg I’m soo excited to try these. Can’t wait to finish work tomorrow and get started on them I will crochet granny stars and cover my house in them 😂🤣. Thankyou Mary keep the videos coming 😀👍🧶💕
I just finished my star in a glittery silver. What I decided to do is slip stitch to the very top, including the two chains, and then fasten off. Then the knot will be camouflaged when I use a ribbon as a hanger. Your tutorial was very easy to follow and turns out great!!

Hi Mary! Successfully crocheted my first star, thanks to you! Wondering if you have done it more than 3 rounds? Would love to see a video or pattern to make this project larger! ⭐
This was an amazing tutorial. While trying to teach myself the ins and outs of crocheting, I keep noticing that while there are many people that can crochet super well, not every crocheter can teach/explain very well. And you definitely can! You're great ❤️ I did this star with embroidery thread instead of normal yarn, + a smaller crochet hook of course 🙈 I couldn't help myself! I knew it would be even more challenging for a beginner lol, but the embroidery thread I had was such a beautiful bright yellow. And it turned out beautiful, very cute and small. I wouldn't have been able to without your patient explanation! I was wondering if you have a video that explains reading patterns somewhere, or if you have any advice on how to get started reading them (+ not getting confused between UK and US terminology)? Thanks so much in advance

thank you for this amazing tutorial! you explained everything so clearly and it was very easy to follow! and your voice was really nice too! ☺️ i do have one question though, if i want to make a bigger star, i have to increase the number of chains and triple crochet in one space right?
I’m so pleased that you enjoyed the tutorial 🥰🎄⭐️xx I would just follow the same stitch count but use a larger hook and thicker yarn to get a larger star ⭐️ x
Thank you so much for this!! I find that its hard to find tutorials for things that i want to make in UK terms, although I do know roughly how to translate US to UK, i just much prefer for it to already be in UK terms 💜 I have quite a few ideas on what to make with these cute little stars already!!
