I would like to paint my animal friends (deer and squirrels) that I see and feed outside every day. You have blessed and helped me so much and I am excited to follow along again!
I know this is geared towards animal art, but the things you say are also helpful for artists that paint other things as well :) I rarely paint animals, I watch your channel because I love your spirit and honestly, it's nice that the content can also be applied to my paintings as well. Thank you ❤
First of all, the colors you use just pop! I love how bright and vibrant your art is! I just stumbled upon your channel, and your art story hit home. I relate to it so much. Loved art my whole life but wasn't encouraged to pursue it. I even started to resent it because I felt like I wasn't allowed to be the artist I wanted to be, so I stopped. This past year, I started creating. My biggest block is Imposter 's syndrome, and struggling to find my style. But I'm looking forward to shaping my craft, practicing new techniques, and sparking up my creativity. Thank you for sharing your passion, your art and your heart. ❤
Aww I am so so grateful you shared this. I’m so thankful you’re back into art despite the discouragement. Now use that brilliant enthusiasm to create your best art 😘 🌹😻
I think you did this just for me, resonate with everything you just said. I can paint great results with your tutorials, but on my own i suck at it😢 my dream is to be a full-time artist but i feel i lack the skill. Looking forward to your next episode.
I can draw animals and nail tutorials but when I do it all from scratch, my paintings seem flat and I loose interest to finish. I love to do pets because I rescue animals and would love to do pet portraits on some of the cats and dogs we rescue..
Awww you rescue animals. I admire people like you, doing so much good! And caring for animals well. Thank you for this service Gwen! So to be clear you get about half way and then you get discouraged and stop? I’d love to learn more so I can be most helpful!
@@laurenelizabethanimalart3215 you’re welcome! I absolutely live, breathe art, but I don’t always have the time. My goal for 2024 is just to draw every day for 30 days straight. I already started and not completed that task yet, but I had a migraine for 2 days. Normally I would call myself a failure and give up. But as soon as I was better, I went right back to doing it again. Is this might be my year to succeed!
I over expect what I need to paint. I did pictures of my pets that were good. Then I had relatives that wanted me to paint their pets. It’s just not working.
I'm sorry this has been a frustrating endeavor for you. When you say, "over expect" do you mean you try to bite off more than you can chew? Or you expect it to turn out perfect? I know mini canvas pet portraits helped me so much ease into those larger pieces. Plus it was fast practice. I hope I can be a help to you make peace with your art and discover it's joy!

I just posted the next video in this series, hopefully on a biweekly schedule. I hope this teaching series ignites that creativity in you Bonnie!
❤ wowwww

Wow that’s such a nice thing to say, thank you. I do hope this entire series still serves you.
I have missed being a part of this community. Life has been hectic. I am hoping to get back to it soon!
I think that’s Autumn right!? It’s so lovely you’re back.

Awww I am so thrilled you feel this way. I really hope you enjoy my most recent video, the second in this series. I hope it helps too.

I find drawing so hard and I end up quitting before I get to the painting or coloring process.
I so greatly appreciate your honestly and you sharing your feedback! This helps me in creating this content. ❤️

i struggle to have faith in my painting and get through that awkward, ugly stage 😅
Oh that ugly phase! I love it and despise it all at the same time. I will absolutely address this concept.
