1. Attach yarn in any stitch.
2. Chain 1, single crochet in the next 2 stitches,
*Chain 5, slip stitch to join in the first chain stitch, (loop formed)
Working in the loop:
Single crochet,
3 double crochet,
Chain 3, slip stitch into the top of the dc,
2 double crochet,
Single crochet,
Slip stitch into the base of the loop.
Turn the work, single crochet in the next 3 stitches,
Repeat from * across the row.
When approaching a corner, adjust the single crochet stitches
(add 1 or work 1 less) so you end up working a leaf in the corner stitch.

Another great border/edging and tutorial. I would be tempted to try doing a tiny stitch (with thread) to attach each leaf to the leaf next to it -- to make it less floppy.
