Wow from holland
Another fantastic video. Great thanks!
Beautiful animals
Lovely footage, thanks so much for your time and effort.
Thanks for this beautifull and informative video about badgers. I am going to give it a try too. Here in the North of Holland we don't have that much badgers but there are some places where they live. With your information I am going to spend some time trying to get a few nice pictures and video's. Thanks again.
I'm naturally reminded of another nature photographer on TH-cam, the Dane, Morten Hilmer. He had a difficult time with his badgers. He worked so hard to get much less than you have with your simple set-up. Maybe the Danish badger is just shyer? Regardless the contrast was striking. Like someone tying themselves in knots vs. someone falling off a log.
Young badgers can be very easy. Older ones not so much.
Dutch vlogger here. Doing the same thing in the Netherlands. They are shy here, that's for sure 😅. Will post my vlog in May or June.
Another good one Mike
Great video Mike.
Well done
good point about the scent.
New camera, bags, tripod may not smell much to us,
but to animals its a dead give away.
great video
Beautiful work!
Fascinating, Mike. Thanks for showing us this.
Great video as always Mike
Thanks for sharing your knowledge Mike, always interesting and informative.
Stunning shots of such an iconic animal. They always look very thoughtful, thanks for sharing Mike.
Very Nice again Mike..keep it up..
Thank you again for a very informative video with so many interesting thoughts and ideas.
Lovely captures and footage!! Each time I watch your video, I learn more about wildlife. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you very much for sharing🙏🏾🙏🏾
great video and nice shots I photographing my first badgers this year
Brilliant Video, lovely photographs And Excellent Footage. Many thanks for sharing.
Great video Mike, I have the same urge to get home when it gets dark, must be the draw of Corrie and Love Island.
Thank you very much... 👌👍🙏👏👏
I enjoyed this informative video very much and the images (and footage) are superb. I am so cross with myself because when badgers used to visit my patio, I never even thought about photographing them, although I do have footage from my outdoor cameras - and now I am really into wildlife photography, they don't come any more and haven't for quite some years! Just my luck!! 🙄
Only photographed Badgers at Alan Forders reflection in the New Forest, fortunately they love peanuts ! Totally set up they come in regularly and you don't have too long to wait ! Great video Mike ! 👍😍
Great stuff Mike! I would like to find badgers around here, but we just don't have those here. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Mike. I've been wanting to photograph some badgers but I wasn't sure how much of a nightmare it is to solve the light issue. Now I feel like it's really not that bad. I only need to find out where I will find them...
Good video and shots of these badgers. The ones we have in Texas are fearless, I watched a video a while back of one taking out and then eating a big rattle snake.
Yes, they are fearless. They are dangerous if cornered. Like most wild animals they want to avoid contact with humans. They don’t have much in they way of predators and will happily enter a fox den and kill the cubs.
Don't forget you can use electronic shutter and Flash with the Sony A1
I had a hide set up almost identical to that at my local sett. Unfortunately, whereas you had a branch come down that needed trimming, a wole tree blew down during a storm and totally demolished my hide.
Good job you weren't in it at the time!
Remember Minnie Caldwell and milk stout?
Great video did you ever shoot with them in winter do you think it will work
