I followed these instructions and fixed my cruise control and horn problem on my 200i Nissan Frontier. There was one extra screw holding the plastic housings around the steering column, otherwise, same exact process.
good little tutorial but my only recommendation for saftey sake is to dissconnect the battery before you play with airbags as you don't want the risk of setting it off accidently
Also guys since you're working with the airbag to go under the bonnet or hood and unplug the negative terminal and ensure that the wire is not touching any bare metal and leave the car for about 5 minutes this is a requirement as it might spark or the airbag will deploy while you're working with it
Alright mate sounds like your new clock spring isn’t riggt, if you still have the old one put this one in and see if that’s changing anything. Why did you need a new one? Because of the same problem you have now?
You are right it’s not and you shouldn’t do it, I did it half a dozen times without any problems and with being careful of course but you should disconnect the battery. Some say then you should even wait for 24h because there could be still some rest power left
Is that something good? I want to give you all the information you need to be successful and let you know why things are how they are. I’m still improving myself and you should see and improving in my other later videos😉 thank you for your comment, I appreciate that👍
Thannks man... Helped me out today... Part cost me 15 euros from AliExpress :)

Hi my steerwhile backlights aren't working and controls are only working on certain angles. Can it be the clock spring?
Yes its very very likely I had the exact same problem with my cruise control, it would only turn on in a certain turning angle 👍
I did this and my left indicators is flashing at first it was flashing ok but now it flashing fast
Does the car battery need to be unplugged?
Yes you better should disconnect the negative terminal for the battery, it’s safer. I haven’t done it and been careful but no guarantee for that.
Okay thanks will definitely do that just in case
Good on ya, safety first
@@Kolona222 my steering wheel doesn't have the release tab under neath to remove air bag?
But you have the whole for it? If so than there should be the release tab somewhere there

There is a video about it on my channel as well mate. Takes you only a few seconds to reset it. It’s really pretty easy
