Thanks Striperman! I think this year it’s going to stay ‘mostly’ green for all of winter. Famous last words. I’ve kept a slightly taller HOC and have adopted a much simpler but well planned fert regime which I think has made the difference so far. Just wish I had more time to keep up with proper maintenance! That would’ve kept things looking great
Thanks bud! We hit just below zero last week but it’s averaging lows around 3-7degrees C with highs up to around 13-17degrees C. Cold fronts are lower of course and then days like the last few hit 21. We had snowfall for the first time in years just 30km south of my place last week, and are expecting another cold front from Friday. Our coldest temps are still coming, but will only last for a short while. From mid-end August we’ll see a quick increase in temperatures and then we’ll get surprised with random cold fronts until around mid September
I haven’t used it in my yard but I have many friends and viewers that have. Mixed opinions per their perspectives. I’ve never bothered because I feel it’s too expensive per square meter.
A little snack for the lawn before bedtime. Looking good Travis

Kikuyu is still looking good in the winter. What are your temps like? Also what fert blend are you putting down?

Fert used is Compo-Expert NovaTec premium, which is a 15-3-20 with trace elements. The next app is NovaTec N-Max which is a 24-5-5 for spring.
