In story, i felt like Daniel & Amanda should have just paused the fight, not stop it to find an alternative. Tory's heel turn was easily avoidable.
I don’t think the heel turn is permanent. My gut says Kreese is behind it and she’ll find that out at some point

I’m enjoying all the angry nerds defending Tory, even though she would face harsher consequences from killing Sam, someone she recently made up with and probably has little to no issues with, the instant regret would’ve been harder than the lack of empathy from her karate mentors and colleagues
I get both of their sides but they also need to try to understand what the other is saying.
Because I get why Daniel wants to honour Mr. Miyagi but Daniel needs to also care and include on what the children needs on what they need to do which is technically what Johnny is doing, but people can take out what they need to do without taking their strong emotions on someone which could beat them up pretty bad.
I get that Daniel is worried & upset when he opened Mr. Miyagi’s secret box when he found a dark side of his mentor, but Johnny has no right to call Mr. Miyagi a liar because Daniel & Johnny both DON’T KNOW what Mr. Miyagi did that was so bad and dark.
Johnny also has a point, it’s not up to them on what the students needs to do if they want to do this then they should along with the others approval of course.
Assuming that Sam wanted to continue the fight after hearing Tory's mom died, I think Sam was right not to continue if Tory is not stable

Johnny was the only person who gave a shit about what Tory was going through in this moment as he had also experienced the loss of his mother. I wish he had gone to her apartment to check up on her and help her through this incredibly difficult time in her life. Robby didn't even seem to freaking care, nor did any of the others to be honest. I don't blame her at all honestly for going back to John Kreese. I do think Sensei Kreese wholeheartedly cares about Tory; we saw that several times in an earlier season when he helped her out with her landlord and her dojo membership fees. I'm totally on Tory's side at this point. She's been through hell and back time and time again and she still gets up and fights like a champion for her dignity and sanity.
I think Robby (and everyone else) does care. He was trying to help her calm down because she was clearly very upset (and rightly so). It's hard to listen to reason when you're upset. I do agree though that somebody should've gone and checked in on her (I would've liked it if it were Johnny or Devon since they understand what she's going through). Maybe then, she wouldn't of joined CK.
Not sure I see it the same way. Robbie kept trying to text and call her. Even if he went to her apartment to check on her she wouldn't have been there. She coulda told Robbie or anyone for that matter where she was or what was going on, that was her choice not to.
@BryanSnyder-d9u I disagree wholeheartedly with your statement. To say that Johnny was the only person who gave a shit about what Tory was going through is a lie. Tory was already an aggressive person long before her mother died, and she was on the brink of learning how to deal with that. Unfortunately, whenever you lose a parent, grief kicks in, and in her case, her rage and adrenaline are through the roof to the point where she could really hurt someone. Also, you forget that Daniel lost his father when he was 8 years old, and both he and his widowed mother had to leave New Jersey for California in order to make ends meet, and they left with a beat-up old station wagon. He was much younger than Tory when he lost his dad.
Now, let's touch the subject when it comes to Robby. If he didn't care about Tory, why would he go out of his way constantly texting her and calling her wondering if she's okay? Tory chose not to pick up the phone, which I understand, but she also chose not to text him back or tell anyone what happened.
At the end of the day, the only reason why Amanda knew what was going on was because the hospital called her on the phone, given that she was the one who got Tory's mom the medical help that she needed; she's listed as a contact person. If Amanda didn't care about Tory and her mom's well-being as well as her family, why would she leave her name behind as a contact?
@@crpsaiyan I'd like to add on to ur statement since tory resorted towards instinct rather than logic to handle her situation (tho I wouldn't blame her necessarily for that since grief is different for everybody). If Tory's mom didn't die that day, there's a good chance that she potentially would have won the fight against sam since they both know each other's styles. Furthermore, if Daniel didn't stop Tory from hitting Sam, she would've received a point deduction regardless since johnny already gave the warning to her. Truly an unfortunate set of circumstances for Tory and I completely agree with the example you gave for Daniel regarding how he lost his dad at a young age since he was probably trying to sympathize with her.
miguel also cared for her in season 5 when sam and tory had the little fight and tory came to tell the truth and sam was angry and then after miguel was saying that it was hard for tory to say what she knew and that shes been through a lot etc……….
If Amanda didn't get that call, Sam would have been beaten up badly.

Tory has yet to learn how to control her aggression. She was on the brink of improving in that area, but once her mother died, her grief put her in a fight or flight mode, and she's not thinking clearly. Her aggression is multiplied to the point where she could do something she might later regret.

Nope, Tory when she’s angry or upset can do a lot of damage to people, as it’s proven to at she’s able to break stone while angry, so it could’ve really hurt Sam, making her not compete in the Sakai takai due to the injury, Daniel and Amanda had every right to stop the fight and discuss it with Tory to help her, after all Amanda is pretty good at that kinda stuff
Tory is punished every season it's so unfair she loses to Sam in every fight from season 2-6, they couldn't even let Tory win fair and square for once in S4, Kim tortured her mentally, beat her up and made her bust her hand in S5, all the stuff with her aunt and they couldn't even let Tory win the fight in S6 the bias is crazy I am fuming, Tory loses her mother and won't even be in the tournament, And they make her rejoin CK after what Kim Da Eun did to her? she didn't even train with them in Korea what a joke, the writers really don't like her. Tory never won 1 big fight on the show, she never beat anybody which is so sad she was a trained kickboxer, showed some grappling in S2 and then learned Cobra Kai. Tory and Sam was never a rivalry, my idea of a rivalry is something competive, back and forth, you win one, I win one, Sam won every time which is nonsense because she only learned basics as a kid and quit for 9 years, Tory is much bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic and more aggressive etc, there is 0 realism cause Tory would demolish her in a real fight. Think about it who would you rather fight Tory or Sam? definitely Sam, you wouldn't wanna fight Tory she's very strong physically as well, she would beat you up, Sam is small, weak and barely has any sort of offense.

A Tory na segunda e terceira temporada era uma psicopata maluca que perseguía a Sam de todas as formas com sangue nos olhos, e apesar da Sam ter vencido ela em quase todas lutas aquilo foi muito assustador pra ela e foi o que fez ela querer aprender mais sobre outras técnicas, nessa cena provavelmente a Sam viu a Tory das duas temporadas lá e não a que ela tava conhecendo agora, por isso ela ficou bem desestabilizada na luta.

And Tory joins up with Kim Da Eun who tortured her mentally and physically, why would she rejoin Kreese out of nowhere? how did Kreese get from America to Korea and back to America and found Tory suddenly? the show has jumped the shark totally just like I said since S3 they ran out of ideas.

Tory was brought back to the bad guys basically right after joining the good guys.

Why, Its time for Robby to win, he always come in second Place, Its his turn. Miguel got his win in season 2, Hawk season 4, Now its Robby and its final according the the show. He already Won his match to Miguel to become Captain, Things are looking good for him, I don't doubt he will win. I don't get what's the obsession with Miguel there is other characters who deserves opportunities. The show treats, Robby, Hawk, And Miguel equal as fighters, Johnny even said it himself when they were picking someone to represent the team for the sekai taikai in season 1. These are his words, you guys are all badass fighter, but we can only choose one of you.

When Miguel and Robby were fighting in season 1 all valley Tournament, Robby was clearly the better fighter in that match. He did that amazing Handstand Kick with really no practice at all, Daniel even tried to do it but it wasn't really sucessful. In the tournament Miguel was fighting Dirty its not really fair, He was not fighting fair at all, When Robby was fighting completely fair but also with balance. And Robby started doing Karate a little after Miguel and in the Tournament He was having Miguel struggle against Him
Its Clear Robby was the better fighter in season 1 and during that match.
Now Onto Season 2. Robby basically beat Miguel I mean come on he got the boy paralyzed, he won fair and sqaure.
In the prom Fight, Robby manages to Kick, Miguel, Sam, and Tory all in the pool without falling in, Its clear he's the better fighter.
Miguel is also a pussy he left the tournament to go find his dad which was understandable but during that time Come On, It was clear he was going to fight Robby in the finals if he would have beat Hawk with the Kick he was going to do. But Personally if I really hated Someone, I will want to fight them infront of everyone so I can show I am the better fighter, Miguel was just showing he was a pussy because he didn't go up against Robby.
Now Season 5 Where the fought in the apartment Complex, It was 50/50 for me. People say that Miguel won that but not quite. When Miguel kicked his face and made his nose bleed, Robby got even and started doing high kicks, If you look at the series throughout Robby Kicks very High and has better choreography than Miguel. And some of it has to do with the Actor Tanner Buchchanan, He has martial arts background. When Robby stepped on top of the Air conditioning and Kicked Miguel in the air, that almost knocked him out. Then They go upstairs and its clear Miguel is getting the upperhand, But for Miguel it wasn't clear, He wanted to win the fight, he wanted to do what Robby did to him, Knocking him off the balcony and Johnny has to come and stop it. So for Miguel he wasn't the better Fighterm Robby is.
And In season 6. Robby beat Miguel fair and sqaure for the captain role. He deserves it. Robby is the better fighter than Miguel if you look at all their fights. Seems like Miguel gets injured almost every season. First him being paralyzed, then Kyler beating on him in the house fight, Then Getting Injured in the tournament.
Sam is so soft. Tory deserves to be the Sekai Tenkai female champion
