The way I see it, Miguel fights best street wise; he can endure all the pain and hits he’s given, but he’s never taken down, while Robby fights best tournament wise; he can avoid getting hit and gets a lot of hits. And there’s so much evidence to prove it. Season 1, first tournament, realistically, if Miguel and Hawk hadn’t taken advantage of Robby’s shoulder injury, Robby would of won that entire tournament. Season 2, school fight, Miguel truly won that fight, despite lowering his guard, he’s still beats Robby, just not under tournament conditions. In season 3, Miguel fights Kyler at the LaRusso house, despite still recovering, he endured that pain and won. In season 4, second tournament, Robby could of won the tournament once again, if he hadn’t been in a state of anger and revenge, considering he was in Cobra Kai. However, in the Season 5 fight to settle matters, at the apartments, Miguel won the fight once again, just not under tournament conditions. Overall, Miguel can fight to survive, while Robby dominates the tournament aspects of karate. End of the day, they’re both good fighters, it just depends on the situation of the fight.

Robby is exactly what I want in a fighter. He can kick ass as well as defend. I truly never understood why Johnny and Daniel are so headstrong about one way of fighting. It shouldn’t be an all offensive or defensive fighter as both expect. You never know what your opponent will throw and it’s best to have the skills to do both. Robby proved smarter than all the Sensais combined because it’s clear that you need to be a well rounded fighter. He was the first to understand that concept, not the adults, who should be way wiser. he disposed 10 Cobra Kai students by himself, Robby is truly the new Karate Kid and Sam is the second Karate girl like Julie Pierce
Damn , I am a Miguel fan , and it’s sad to see him loose . Because he’s kind of lost that aura in a way . He was undefeated and it felt no one could beat him , then energy around him was badass.

Miguel is my favorite character in Cobra Kai, but I'm glad Robby won this fight. Of all the best fighters besides Sam, Robby has never really won anything, whether it's a trophy or a regular fight against his toughest opponent. I'm sure this is just setting up Miguel to win the Sekai Taikai, but at least we got to see Robby win *something.*

I am really satisfied that Robby had beaten Miguel because throughout season 1 to 5 Robby has been in second place, let alone he doesn't deserve to because in the 1st tournament Miguel cheated his way to win thanks to the injury he received from Hawk and in the 2nd tournament he didnt train enough in season 3 like Hawk did because he was in juvie if he did he definitely would have won hope he actually wins the Sekai Takai it would be amazing to see him win because he is the only character who has suffered the most so it would be amazing to see all that pain he went to will make him become a champion

even tho I favor Miguel over Robby, I can easily agree that he beat him fair and square here. what people don’t understand tho is that going into this both of them were unbalanced. Miguel was too in his head thinking about college which did give him the upper hand, but ultimately allowed his desperation and anger take over. while Robby was in a state of stress and anxiety in the beginning of the fight due to not wanting to come in as second best once again. As soon as tory appeared tho, she gave him a sense of calmness and relaxation which helped him center himself. Miguel also became egotistical and prideful after landing those two points on Robby who had began to lock in 😭 which led him to win

He already has the best record in my opinion because TWO 2nd place trophies show CONSISTENCY and each of the other 2 recent winners (Hawk and Miguel) only had ONE first place and did not place at all in the other. Nope season 1 was dirty win and Robby was better. Season 2 Miguel ends up in coma , Season 4 Robby easily beats Miguel up in the pool scene , season 5 goes for Miguel and season 6 for Robby. It is 3 2 for Robby sweetie

To be honest, this move by the producers looks like a blunder. Imagine waiting 3 months for 5 episodes, twice. I just hope the hype doesn't die down or else the finale won't be as impactful as we want it to.

Miguel lost for a reason, the director probably wants robby as captain to fight kwon in seikai takai and get badly injured and then Miguel takes his place and thrashes Kwon out of revenge.
Regardless of who the winner was, I didn't like how they reverted back to holding grudges. I did wish that Miguel won the fight but humbly gave the Captain role to Robby and saying Robby is the better leader (because of being such a great mentor to folks like Kenny and the other students and overcoming tough adversaries like juvie). At least Miguel would win in fighting and Robby would win in leadership
The proof that Robby is overall better than Miguel. In season 1, Miguel beat Robby at the all valley but those who actually watched the series, know why Miguel beat Robby. All the points Miguel scored against Robby was bc he kept hitting Robby injury. Robby with one arm, he managed to score 2 points. So we can all say that Robby is better than Miguel in season 1. In season 2, we saw Miguel beat Robby at the school fight before Robby pushed him over the railing. But Robby was winning the school fight until Miguel provoked him. When Miguel said "She doesn’t love you she loves me" that was when robby became very very angry that he wasn’t focused anymore. That was the only reason Miguel managed to pin Robby down. So technically, robby is either better than Miguel in season 2 or they were both equal. I believe they were both equal. In season 3, we didn’t see Miguel and Robby fight but come on. Let’s all be honest. We all know Robby can kill Miguel in season 3. This shouldn’t even be a debate. In season 4, if y’all think Miguel won the school fight just because he pinned Robby down, then Robby also won the prom fight against Miguel because he managed to pin Miguel down and he managed to push Miguel in the pool. Kwon is pure Cobra Kai. He will show no mercy and take advantage of everything. But we still have one character who just has to find his way again and that is Miguel. If Miguel is 100% back he could have a chance. The way the writers wrote Miguel, Miguel should be able to do it. If some leaks are true, then Miguel will let the evil out of him again through Sam's flirting with someone else.
Miguel is still the better fighter. His head just was not in the right place whereas Robby was completely focused... Robby character was the first among all the teens to reach maturity at the end of season 4 While hawk is the only teen to complete his character development as you can see he was on both sides good and bad and at the end accepted that winning and losing is just a part of life and same with sam but they are just longing her while miguel is also mature but still hasnt completed development after season 2 he didnt had that star moment or arc that every other character had even demetri and kenny, even his arc with his father was pointless so i think that they were saving him and tori for end as they have to make either miguel or robby a monster like character if they are facing kwon and both have reasons but i think miguel actually would deserve that rivalry arc with kwon as he is only remaining with a hero or that peak arc of a character

Adoro essa série e tenho algo a dizer nem sempre o protagonista se sai bem o ator xolo deixou de ser o principal desde da segunda temporada pois Tanner e o melhor ator da série tirando o veteranos o personagem Robby se tornou o elo equilíbrio entre o bem e o mal como o Daniel quando treinou com o Silver as vezes temos que ter um equilíbrio e saber o que escolher o Robby perdeu duas vezes e isso o fez crescer esse e o verdadeiro sentido do karatê miagi do acho justo que ele ganhe o seikai taikai na última temporada de Cobra Cai, o Miguel infelizmente ficou obsoleto o personagem se perdeu um pouco na série não teve muitos desafios, não teve crescimento ético ou pessoal desculpa e minha opinião

Height plays a MASSIVE role in weight and strength.Miguel is taller, has a larger frame, and a larger body. Robby is exactly what I want in a fighter. He can kick ass as well as defend. I truly never understood why Johnny and Daniel are so headstrong about one way of fighting. It shouldn’t be an all offensive or defensive fighter as both expect. You never know what your opponent will throw and it’s best to have the skills to do both. Robby proved smarter than all the Sensais combined because it’s clear that you need to be a well rounded fighter. He was the first to understand that concept, not the adults, who should be way wiser. he disposed 10 Cobra Kai students by himself, Robby is truly the new Karate Kid and Sam is the second Karate girl like Julie Pierce

Miguel is my favorite character in Cobra Kai, but I'm glad Robby won this fight. Of all the best fighters besides Sam, Robby has never really won anything, whether it's a trophy or a regular fight against his toughest opponent. I'm sure this is just setting up Miguel to win the Sekai Taikai, but at least we got to see Robby win *something.*

even tho I favor Miguel over Robby, I can easily agree that he beat him fair and square here. what people don’t understand tho is that going into this both of them were unbalanced. Miguel was too in his head thinking about college which did give him the upper hand, but ultimately allowed his desperation and anger take over. while Robby was in a state of stress and anxiety in the beginning of the fight due to not wanting to come in as second best once again. As soon as tory appeared tho, she gave him a sense of calmness and relaxation which helped him center himself. Miguel also became egotistical and prideful after landing those two points on Robby who had began to lock in 😭 which led him to win

I knew this would be the outcome of their fight and the continuation of the rivalries were inevitable because rivalries are always popular across various media. It's great to see Robby finally secure a major win, unlike the prom fight, which didn't feel significant despite being his victory.
I also knew this fight would be a callback to Season 1, especially with Miguel's ambition for the leadership role. The main difference now is that both fighters are at their prime, and Robby doesn't have an injured shoulder this time. A fun little detail I like to point out is Robby’s fighting style where he regained his focus and started parrying Miguel’s attacks at ease, highlighting this callback to Season 1 and how he could have won the AVT without the shoulder injury. This fight even proves it and that Miguel was fighting at his best while being honorable, only that his ambition reflected his motives compared to Robby’s which foreshadowed the inevitable outcome.

If Miguel and Robby kept fighting, I believe they'd each win half the time, maintaining the value of their rivalry. Constant wins for either character would be repetitive and boring, undermining the purpose of both the protagonist and the rival

Miguel lost for a reason, the director probably wants robby as captain to fight kwon in seikai takai and get badly injured and then Miguel takes his place and thrashes Kwon out of revenge.
Regardless of who the winner was, I didn't like how they reverted back to holding grudges. I did wish that Miguel won the fight but humbly gave the Captain role to Robby and saying Robby is the better leader (because of being such a great mentor to folks like Kenny and the other students and overcoming tough adversaries like juvie). In season 1, Miguel beat Robby at the all valley but those who actually watched the series, know why Miguel beat Robby. All the points Miguel scored against Robby was bc he kept hitting Robby injury. Robby with one arm, he managed to score 2 points. So we can all say that Robby is better than Miguel in season 1.
In season 2, we saw Miguel beat Robby at the school fight before Robby pushed him over the railing. But Robby was winning the school fight until Miguel provoked him. When Miguel said "She doesn’t love you she loves me" that was when robby became very very angry that he wasn’t focused anymore. That was the only reason Miguel managed to pin Robby down. So technically, robby is either better than Miguel in season 2 or they were both equal. I believe they were both equal.
In season 3, we didn’t see Miguel and Robby fight but come on. Let’s all be honest. We all know Robby can kill Miguel in season 3. This shouldn’t even be a debate.
In season 4, if y’all think Miguel won the school fight just because he pinned Robby down, then Robby also won the prom fight against Miguel because he managed to pin Miguel down and he managed to push Miguel in the pool. Plus Robby was almost at his prime in season 4. So Robby season 4 is better than season 4 Miguel. Tournament Robby is better than tournament Miguel too because when Miguel and Eli fought, Miguel struggled to land a point on hawk. But when Eli and Robby fought, Robby landed a point on Miguel very fast.
In season 5, ima be honest. Miguel won fair and square against Robby. There is no debate. Miguel season 5 is clearly better than Robby season 5.
And then finally, in season 6, Robby beat Miguel fair and square too. Dont complaint about Miguel not being focused. Miguel was clearly focused. He even said he really wanted to win. He was very determined to win. He gave everything he could to win but he still got his ass kicked. I also think Robby is better than Miguel in street fight. Because Robby managed to score 3 points in a row. So Robby would probably beat Miguel in a street fight if Robby remained calm and focused. And the only reasons Miguel managed to score 2 points was because Robby wasn’t focused at the start. But when Tory came, Robby got his focused back and he beat Miguel.

I have a feeling none of these 3: Miguel, Robby, Hawk have a chance against Kwon. I don't even think they can beat Yoon! What the heck is going to happen when Kwon unleashes all of his skill? It will take someone equivalent to Chozen to beat Kwon!
Kwon is pure Cobra Kai. He will show no mercy and take advantage of everything.
But we still have one character who just has to find his way again and that is Miguel. If Miguel is 100% back he could have a chance. The way the writers wrote Miguel, Miguel should be able to do it. If some leaks are true, then Miguel will let the evil out of him again through Sam's flirting with someone else.

You could see the gears shift when Tory arrives and Robby is lazer focused whereas with each point lost Miguel becomes more reckless and desperate. Robby character was the first among all the teens to reach maturity at the end of season 4 While hawk is the only teen to complete his character development as you can see he was on both sides good and bad and at the end accepted that winning and losing is just a part of life and same with sam but they are just longing her while miguel is also mature but still hasnt completed development after season 2 he didnt had that star moment or arc that every other character had even demetri and kenny, even his arc with his father was pointless so i think that they were saving him and tori for end as they have to make either miguel or robby a monster like character if they are facing kwon and both have reasons but i think miguel actually would deserve that rivalry arc with kwon as he is only remaining with a hero or that peak arc of a character
Nah robby should rival kwon. They both have a lot of skills moves. I think Miguel should rival yoon. Bc they were both considered the best in this season but they got destroyed by their rivals.

Adoro essa série e tenho algo a dizer nem sempre o protagonista se sai bem o ator xolo deixou de ser o principal desde da segunda temporada pois Tanner e o melhor ator da série tirando o veteranos o personagem Robby se tornou o elo equilíbrio entre o bem e o mal como o Daniel quando treinou com o Silver as vezes temos que ter um equilíbrio e saber o que escolher o Robby perdeu duas vezes e isso o fez crescer esse e o verdadeiro sentido do karatê miagi do acho justo que ele ganhe o seikai taikai na última temporada de Cobra Cai, o Miguel infelizmente ficou obsoleto o personagem se perdeu um pouco na série não teve muitos desafios, não teve crescimento ético ou pessoal desculpa e minha opinião

Being more shredded doesn’t mean Robby is stronger or bigger. Miguel is around 7 inches taller than Robby, hell Robby is shorter than Kenny. Height plays a MASSIVE role in weight and strength.Miguel is taller, has a larger frame, and a larger body. Robby just has a lower body fat percentage which shows muscle definition more.Miguel is the better fighter he adapts to the situation that’s how he progressed from S1 meanwhile Robby has his dads natural talent and once focused has already surpassed his dad but the final season will show whose the best out of the two
