I just want to applaud you for your effort in all your videos, You have a top notch broadcast everytime. Your style is very infectious to the viewer. You deserve a lot more subscriptions than you have. Take Care
I forgot about the update. I pulled this game out and had both the old and the new charts, and I was all confused. I'm trying to get this game flowing again.
Replay Gamer- I became a new subscriber recently because I really enjoy your content! I particularly enjoy watching the older seasons ( I myself do not enjoy modern baseball ). Your broadcasts are top notch entertainment. Also I'm sure you've been told that you look a bit and sound like Vin Scully.
Well thank you very much! You would be the first to say I remind them of Vin Scully...but I will be ok being compared to him anytime. Lol :-) I appreciate the comment and the compliment!
I just bought a used copy of Payoff Pitch and am looking forward to playing it. I suspect it will not have the updates you describe. So far, I haven't seen an option on their website to buy the update collateral, but I understand that the developer is dealing with health issues. My real question... I was wondering if anyone has done an assessment of how statistically accurate the game is, or better yet, if anyone has figured out the underlying formulas if you wanted to make your own cards (God forbid).
Not sure about the accuracy overall. It seemed to be pretty accurate in the games I played but I can't speak to it in a big sample size. I also have not seen anyone discuss creating your own cards for this game. Might check the Delphi Forum... :-)
Payoff Pitch is a great game. I think it's pitcher batter interaction is the best of any game I own. There are three reasons Strat is what I'm playing the most right now. (...and that is always subject to change Lol.) 1. It has a computer version 2. I trust their ratings more 3. It is what I played first as a kid. Hope that helps. :-)

Thanks! It certainly is a lot of fun sharing something you enjoy. :-)
I completely forgot about this. I should grab this new set of rules and charts.
I think it's a good update. :-)

Lol, I haven't played this game in while either, so I'm sure it would take me a bit to remember where I was when I last played it. :-)

just received this game. fielding range checks are an afterthought in this game...almost a non-factor.
Yeah, this game has A LOT going for it. I still struggle mightily with the range ratings however... :-)

Thanks for the information. You remind me a bit of Red Barber. Regardless - kudos on your presentations. Very well done!
You're welcome and thanks! I'm playing a couple games offline with the new rules. Making sure I've got all my ducks in a row. :-)
They are currently having a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal. The upgrade is $3.60 and pdf seasons are $5.40 (at least the ones I bought)
Appreciate the heads up. :-) It's a great game.
is that why your recent videos are Strat!!!?
