- EN-Eins Perfektewelt (Also known as EN-Eins Kanzen Sekai) is an arcade fighting game developed by Subtle Style and released in 2011. The game is the sequel to 2007's Akatsuki Blitzkampf and it's 2008 arcade version, Ausf. Achse. It adds three new characters (Kati, EN-Eins, and Tempelritter) while giving several others new moves.

I just LOOOOOOOOOVE how Adler always says "Scheiße" (german for shit "shit" and sometimes when used as a curse also for "fuck") when gets hit xD
Still the only character I use in Under Night.

I couldn't find Hatred (the song that plays when you square up against Murakumo in Akatsuki Blitzkampf) anywhere on TH-cam, so I downloaded the soundtrack and uploaded the song myself.

Got the game and nothing against akatsuki blitzkampf but en Eins controls feel more smooth and easy to pull combos more easily
EE, the only ABK game with a candy/colorful palette of colours lol
The game new mechanics are great and Akatsuki is still a badass, great video btw (still waiting for the ABK on Valhalla difficulty)

You're gonna be waiting for a bit more than ABK on Valhalla. I'm planning on covering Akatsuki Shisei Ichigo as well, even though I know I'm in for a meh time. Next video will be ABK Valhalla though. Don't worry.

@@euronymous_t Update: Valhalla difficulty kicked my ass. I had experience with input reading AI thanks to Ausf. Acshe, but Valhalla mode in vanilla ABK gets ridiculous when you get to Murakumo. I can't beat it... yet. One day.

I see so much influence from this game into latter ones.
For example: Anonym looks like Double from Skullgirls. Perfecti looks like Altair from Re:Creators, and the HUD seems a lot like the one on Cross Tag.
to the point where french bread and arcsys decided he'd be in 2 games with a (for the most part) new moveset
Before EN-Eins update (Anastasis) is about to be released later this year, Inazuma (while his design is more inspired from Kamen Riders) looks a bit like Brain Drain design-wise.
Really, my only complaints with this one are the new default palettes for the returning characters minus Akatsuki, and the games artstyle just seems...Way too colorful compared to the more grim and dark atmosphere and color scheme of the original games.
You can't select Adler or Murakumo's original palettes, it seems. They don't have them as alternate colors. I don't know if Marilyn or Kanae have their original colors as alts. Wei seems to still have his, though I'll have to double check that.

@@RestlessDipstick Maybe it was to show that time passed in between ABK/Ausf. Achse and EN-Eins? Then again, I can't tell how long EN-Eins takes place after ABK. I think it might be around two weeks? I don't know.
The devs of this game seem really interesting.

also I hate how they destroyed what made it unique, the asthetics of ww2 and extremely dull yet refined colours and minimalist design was what made it stand out, but now they got rid of it and replaced everything with rainbow and brightness

Yes, EN-Eins Perfektewelt is the sequel to Akatsuki Blitzkampf. The game recently got an updated version, EN-Eins Perfektewelt Anastasis in arcades earlier this year.

I downloaded them all in a bundle from one of the subreddits, I forget where. The first game is Akatsuki Shisei Ichigo.
I'm having issues configuring a fightstick with the download version of EN you've got in the description. Any troubleshooting tips for this emulator you've got?
I was able to configure my Mayflash F500 just fine. Though, it's been a year since I did that. Try asking around the ABK discord? Are you using Jconfig?

@@Superblamblamman JConfig is how you configure the controls. It should be included in the EN-Eins folder.
Will they ever translate what the characters are saying, someday? I'm quite curious to know what they're saying...

The other akatsuki voice actor from blitzkamp was a bit better
He's only ever been voiced by Shinobu Matsumoto.
But how does he sound so differently in en-eins?
@@Deadestest Because Shinobu Matsumoto redid his line delivery to sound more hot blooded in Ausf. Achse and EN-Eins.

Is this game on steam?
Yes, this is EN-Eins Perfektewelt. There are a few more mechanics than in ABK, but they also simplified some things.
No, you cannot get this game or any game in the Akatsuki series on Steam. Subtle Style is developing a PC port of Akatsuki Blitzkampf Ausf Achse (an updated version of Akatsuki Blitzkampf), but it's still very early in development, to the point where even he doesn't know if it'll be on Steam or whatever

One more thing, is the game setting on some kind of war? Judging by the uniforms and the title it looks German and they all look like soldiers.
@@unknownguy8687 Fortunately, you can join the ABK discord server where you can download all four games in the series.
The game takes place fifty years after WWII. The characters are modeled after Japanese and German soldiers of WWII, while others are Chinese triad members and one or two miscellaneous characters.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to put the game in wide-screen/full screen. You might be able to in the Jconfig confile, but as for the aspect ratio I don't think it can stretch beyond 4:3 or whatever it is.

You can bind the controls to the keyboard, though a controller may be preferable.
Why isnt this version mentioned as much?
EN-Eins Perfektewelt was a radical change in gameplay and art style from the previous game (Akatsuki Blitzkampf and its arcade version Ausf. Achse), which not everyone liked. That and the game is only available in Japanese arcades (unless you import a candy cab). You can emulate the game which is what I did, but there is no way to play it online as nobody has found a way to implement rollback netcode into Nesica/Zou Engine games like Naomi games on Fightcade.
The updated version that came out last year, EN-Eins Perfektewelt Anastasis, is currently exclusive to Japanese arcades with no intention for a home or PC port. That said, you can play the game in the US if you visit a Round One arcade that has it (which is what I do).
