27:09 I don't know that it really starts right as you pass North Elizabeth, but the area approaching "regular" Elizabeth and just past is quite slow...45 is plausible. On the route map you can kind of see there's a reverse curve that starts just near the southern/western end of the platforms for Elizabeth. This and a set of twisties around Metropark are among the reasons cited for the PRR route laid out in the 1830s not being ideal for true high-speed service. This spot is documented as having been 55 in 1968, but it's documented because of the same incident that might have caused it to be lowered further:
The funeral plans for Bobby Kennedy included ferrying the casket and about 700 VIPs by rail from New York, where services were held at St. Patrick's Cathedral, to Washington so he could be buried at Arlington. Once the train emerged from the tunnel on the New Jersey side, it became apparent that people were going to be lining the entire route, wherever possible, to see it pass by. This meant gathering on station platforms, but also just at lineside (or even from boats in the Passaic and Hackensack rivers between New York and Newark) or on the other tracks to get a closer look. At Elizabeth the crowd on the opposite platform had spilled onto the tracks, and just as the RFK train passed heading south/west, a Penn Central train headed the other way (nearest the crowd), albeit even slower than required, was unable to stop before killing two of the spectators. One had been holding a child but was able to throw the child to safety at the last moment. If I'm not mistaken, this incident is also the reason US trains are required to use horns and bells when approaching a station, even if they are not on the track nearest the platform.

So far it’s ok, I’m from Trenton and ride the NJ Transit often.Newark Liberty seems scaled down..they actually have trams at the station that takes people to the airport terminals but that’s not in the game..As far as the green bridge in Trenton, that’s accurate..They tried their best with the inside of Trenton Transit Center but it’s not accurate but hey can’t get it all lol..

Speed limits are usually historical, as in there has been a problem on a particular route in the past due to speed and/or buildings nearby to keep the noise down, same as on the roads here in the UK.
