So TheHunterManX made multiplayer for Pokemon FireRed/Leafgreen. I got Atsign to add some nuzlocke stuff and BAM hardest Pokemon challenge I've ever done.

Drowzee is used to long sleeps, after all.
It was a premonition of the coming rival fight. The revival herb brought Novias back, but it is bitter medicine after all, and it seems the aftertaste was quite strong.

I find it mind blowing how far mods have gone in the last 2 years or so, allowing for online multiplayer in games that never had it. Mad props to the ones who figure this stuff out.
Edit: ok, according to the replies, these have been around for longer than I thought. That doesn't make it any less mind blowing, but I guess it also means we should thank these content creators for giving it publicity. Or it's possible that they did have publicity in the past and I didn't know about it, I haven't been watching TH-cam for that long.

PP and SoulLink together is just crazy, but also super fun to watch.

@@DH-ue8nb he’s a TH-camr because that where his primary stream of income comes from. He averages 4K subs multiplied by $2.5 per sub gives him $10k dollars a month before taxes. On the other hand TH-cam pays about $6000 per million views. On YT he averages 4 million views a month multiplied by 6k gives $24K before tax. If we’re talking about peak earnings then on twitch he’s made 10k subs so that’s $25k and on YT he’s gotten 12 million views for a total of $72k. Twitch is not that lucrative you need 3k subs a month just to make it full time. TH-cam is way simpler you get 1 viral video with decent residuals and your good for at least 6 months

This is so cool, have been watching Shady since I was 14 or 15 (23 now) Have stayed subbed to him all these years but haven't had as much time to watch recently. Saw this on recommend, so glad that another class of kids gets to enjoy his content, and thanks shady for the literal hundreds of hours of enjoyment. shady people for life!
Same, I watched shady many many years ago... loved his content but as he drifted away from Pokemon I drifted away from his channel, always loved him and one of my favorite creators on the platform. When I saw it was shady with ant it brought back so many happy memories.

The Drowzee poaching is reaching dangerous levels, but in other news, phoenixes are reaching an all-time high in popularity. Unfortunately, the Drowzee's are being used to trade for the Moltresses, usually after they are dead.
I feel like Nuzlocke + No PP heal is even more diffcult than the sum of their parts. In a Nuzlocke you want to have optimum match ups to reduce the chances of accidently losing a mon to a freak crit or something, but in no PP heals you want to use mons that you wouldn't otherwise use in a fight to optmize PP use.
This challenge could be more workable if there was something like,
"One Leppa berry on the ground of each pokemon center" so you get 10pp back when you enter one, but only once. The game lacks PP items overall, this could make it more doable since the encounters tend to be unusable or uncatchable most of the time

The true name for a two player Pokémon Nuzlock is called a soulink
I like how they say sandstorm boosts special defense then u see him use bite(why is bite special in this game?)
This was before the physical/special split. Certain types were only physical while others were only special. Essentially it is an Eeveelution that type used to be only special.

@@Deadgye Fire Red and Leaf Green is a gen 3 remake of gen 1. So Dark and Steel had already been introduced in gen 2. Before the physical/special split in gen 4 this caused certain Pokemon to suck like Sneasel for example. It has a high attack stat but both Ice and Dark were special. Although a weird tidbit is Dragon was originally also a special type but never got an Eeveelution.
Also Sandstorm’s added effect of boosting SpDef was introduced in Gen 4, I believe
