The beauty of the entire process from beginning to end is that you work at your own pace, it is methodical, simply satisfying and therapeutic. Ultimate BLISS!
You'd be suprised what we do in northern europe. We take snow baths between sauna breaks, like jump butt naked to a snow and roll in there. If theres a lake or some body of water we drill a hole in there and swim lol.
I love the idea of placing your clay in a plastic bag before adding it to the extruder. Why have I never thought of this! I always avoid using the extruder because I hate cleaning it. This video has changed my life. Thank you. 😊
I could watch vids like this all day. Craftspeople doin their thang. Although you have a soothing voice just watching is wonderful. And watching the whole process totally makes me understand the cost. Thanks JTP
My first comment on one of your videos but I’ve been loving your content for months. I’ve spent the last 4 years in finance after spending 15 months travelling the world and you’ve inspired me to get creative again and explore again. I’ve started wood carving, I’ve booked a pottery course and I’ve finally booked to get my paragliding licence. Keep up the great work! Life’s to short to not enjoy it.
I'd like to see a video on what you focus on with measurements in order to create a matching, large set. I'd also like more info on what you're doing in regards to trimming bases on this large of a set.
Could you make a video showing possible beginners practice routines? Like different beginner steps repeated over and over for practice. For example, a tutorial for how to center, and then Uncenter, center uncenter. Or open up, close, open up, close. Or pull small wall, bring back down, pull wall, repeat. This would be super helpful for beginners like me who have a wheel at home.
I am sixteen and am going to pick up my kiln in not even two days. I found my kiln on Facebook marketplace for $100 and have plans drawn for a handmade brick kiln for about $300. You don’t have to have a new or perfect kiln to do pottery at home. All I have is clay, a desk, some basic tools and a kiln. That’s all you need
beautiful video.... so well done. I also love the clock in the background on the wall. I will look into buying a piece of yours. Hey ladies...anyone else having a "Ghost" reminiscence on this??? How can anyone not like this? One of the best vd on YT
This video was *chef's kiss* I enjoyed the ASMR as it leaves the viewer thinking what you're going to do next and at the same time, in awe (at least that's what I felt). Also, I respect your ability to walk barefoot in the snow like it's nothing!
Oh I think a fall in love wirh you...I was a student once in a pottery fabric and the first efforts to center the becoming WONDERpieces!!!!!!!! ooooooooo...it was really a living materia....
Could you do a video or a Q&A on best advice for shipping? Ins and Outs of costs and what it looks like to print your own labels vs going to the post office?
AMAAAAZING not only does he look like the perfect potter at least the ones I encounter at the feeds @_@ Every mugs the same, I like the colors/tint too like every mugs perfectly made...♡♡♡ I feel like making them mugs too now or bowls 🤔😶😍
Woah!! I love pottery making. Its so soothing and calming and relaxing stressfree thing. But i didnt learn it properly yet. I really envoy ppl who hv a pottery studio with a kilm!
What are the different kilns for? Do you need 2 different ones for each firing process? Can't you just use one? Do you need one for the before glaze and one specifically for the glaze?
I really enjoy yes your glaze technique. I don’t see a lot of cone 7 firing with the peel holes out! Crazy! And may I ask where you had your stamp made?
My brother is a potter, Eddies Pottery. I think it is relaxing to watch things being made on the wheel. You are quick and your pieces are great. So I was wondering why you turned those pieces upside down? Aid in drying?
Buen trabajo amigo!!!! Acá en Cuba muchos de nosotros soñamos con poder hacer algo parecido, porque se complica conseguir los productos necesarios. Saludos y Felicidades
Do you leave your kiln propped open for the first 500°? Closed the entire fire? Thanks for the videos, they’re hugely informative-like your entire video library.
As a beginner potter I find it incredible for you to work so fast with very little to no mistakes! I wish to become like this one day!

I respect your skills as a potter, but walking though the snow barefoot, that was next level respect :)
I thought I was the only one who catch that one!!
I totally agree!!! Absolutely next level!
I was thinking the same thing! How hot is it in the studio?

Nice, this is the studio of any potter's dreams
I'm not even a potter and I am jealous. Wish I had a studio like that 😍😉
The bread bag in the extruder is genius.
We use old shopping or dry clean plastic..saves so much time cleaning up..and works so well if using different clays and colors.
Behind all the hard work, you produced such a relaxing video to watch. Classic shape and color tone!
dude, how many camaras do you have? you shot like every possible angle. Very impressive video editing skills

Didn’t think the glaze would look like that. Streaking so nicely.
16 min of joy with no words but amazing.

Love the clay splatters on the window.
So much respect for you for having so much patience it’s truly a blessing. Good bless you & your business.
Inspiring , loved the precision .... was amazed with final outcome of the glaze ... did not imagine the streaky effect ..
Truly amazing

Do you have the link?
You should really start a vlog channel. That would be such a great thing to watch. And we would get a better look into the pottery process.

How about applying this carving technique to your Large bowls and/your Tumblers.
LOVE THESE MUGS, WITH THE CIRCLE DECAL!! ❤️❤️❤️
This was very nice and relaxing to watch ❤
Love all your videos! You inspired me to make my own channel!
What is the white powder that you used to allow for a clean stamp?
Usually we use baby powder, corn starch (talc gets shiny) Mary D Tiles on Etsy (100% handbuilt & manual from start to finish.)
Absolutely amazing video. I loved it!! Congrats on your achievements 😃👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That is such a heckin cool glaze! Yes

So beautiful.thank you so much.
Hi! Super awesome Jon! QUESTION: What / & why was the white powder over the slab for? (To dry quicker to use quicker?). Thanks!
It is corn starch, it helps the stamp not stick to the clay and leave a clean imprint.
Really appreciate your work and the color tone is awesome 🇴🇲👍🏻
