I had a 2003 Chevy Impala LS 3.8 V6 4 speed auto I like it gave me no trouble put 115,000 miles and traded for a 2007 Chevy Impala LT 2 with a 3.9 V6 4 speed auto which I liked Just as much and traded with 110,000 miles on it. I now I have a 2014 Chevy Impala with the 3.6 and 6 Speed auto. I enjoyed all 3 of my Impalas thus far.
Like you said the Impala is a good car. The only problem is this model ran from 2006-13 w/out any major changes. You could buy a brand new 2012 Impala and nobody would even know your driving a new car. Its okay with me, but for some reason people want that attention. Since this 2006 model is so clean, people might think its a later model like a 2009, 2010, 2011, or even a 2012.
Actually there was a minor changes. 2009,the last year for the SS model with the 4 speed 5.3 L V8 automatic. 2006-2011 two engine choices which were the 3500 V6 and 3900 V6 4 speed automatics. The 3900 V6 was an option on LT models until 2009, after 2009 the 3900 V6 was only available on the LTZ. 2012-2013 all Impala's came with a 3.6 L direct injected 6 speed automatic V6. The interior and exterior only had very minor changes. The exterior being color choices. The interior being features.
How come some of the impaled come with the drive reverse neutral park thing in the middle and some by the steering wheel? I just seen another video on a 06 where it wasb not in the middle
Nyasia Sharpley do the late 2000's models with the gear changer at the wheel still come with the center armrest??? I've had an early 2000's impala (abused her pretty good, too) and that armrest setup ALONE makes the car infinitely more comfy; at least for the driver...
there's no one car that could have saved them from there contracts and union health care deals that were in place they would had to sell a million a yr instead of 100k just to start to make a dent in there bad financial deals already put in place.

Even in 2022 they still look "new" style cars , they aged well this design.

Hello from 2023...I finally got one
Great cars. I had an 08 and now I am in my second year with my 11. Look forward to a 15.
I have an 08 SS with 54k miles, Corsa exhaust, K&N intake. Runs out like a beast or drives like a lady depending on my mood. Great car!
How’s your transmission

It took 6 years but here is your answer. They came with both options, whichever you prefer
it is called a gear shift lever

These Impalas are by no means a big car, an 06 Town Car makes these feel insignificant and small.
Timothy Wheeler who the hell wants a town car?

I wood for a Impala LS 2006 with a 6 seater Ebony cloth
