18:55 The difference between burnup and burndown is: The burnup display the number of story points accomplished in a timeframe, plus, the scope added. To have a forecast of the project and also check our predictability. The burndown is mostly used for a sprint. Its goal to display how many story points have we burnt during the sprint and compare with the predictive line and adjust on.
Kindly upload a video on how Amit transitioned from non IT role to SM, and what are the interview questions from his real interview experience. It would be really helpful.
As per my understanding PBI is an activity bcoz it works as enabler for upcoming sprint where team is involve in pre readiness for next sprint.Without PBI activity the whole sprint will be at risk.
Good questions about SCRUM, but the Burn up and Burn down mentioned were incorrect. Burn up refers to the amount of work completed, and Burn down refers to the amount of work remained to complete the project and it is known as early warning indicator.
It's really fantastic interview. Sunand your really doing good job like howpeopleswill get idea to becameSM from scratch. I am follow up this channel religiously 21:40 😊.
Super Sunand Sir and Amit Sir . This was amazing. Wnat minute details and the use of words to answer !!! Taking a lot from you and hoping I ll get my SM job soon 🎉 thanks again from my heart Sunand Sir.
I think this answer was not clear about difference between event and activity at 14:30. Scrum event are formal, have a clear goal, specific participants, timeboxed and iterative. Scrum activities have informal, the participants are variants and their endgoal is flexible. Why PBR is not Scrum events because it is not mandatory nor required if the PB is DEEP. Plus, its goal, participant, timebox can be flexible depends on each sprint needs.
Hi Sunand, I also belong to the non it background and want to transition to the scrum master role. Can you pls connect me with Amit so I can understand how he transitioned. Thanks!
Amit was bit theoretic, still some gaps are there, shall be there a crisp and concise answers to the point.... this is just my observation as agile community person....
Let me try answering it Refinement and grooming are one and the same its just grooming is an negative connotation Scrum Events are time boxed where as refinement is an ongoing process and optional as well not everyone from scrum team is needed in it Hope i have answered your question. Pardon my knowledge if i have miscommunicated anything!!
The Job of scrum master is for experienced IT professionals or else individuals will be totally dependent on subordinates as they do not past development exposure or related IT process experience.
I think few answers need correction... metrics, PBI requirement.. otherwise Amit did absolutely well. His confidence is superb, though he is non IT, just nailed it

As agilists, we are discouraged to use word grooming, which has negative connotations.

Can anyone explain difference between backlog refinement and backlog grooming..are they the same ? And why is not an event ?
We already explained in detail
Let me try answering it
Refinement and grooming are one and the same its just grooming is an negative connotation
Scrum Events are time boxed where as refinement is an ongoing process and optional as well not everyone from scrum team is needed in it
Hope i have answered your question.

Hi sir,
When i applied to scrum master i am able to see the interview schedule as product owner , is it same as scrum master
Both are different roles
I think few answers need correction... metrics, PBI requirement.. otherwise Amit did absolutely well. His confidence is superb, though he is non IT, just nailed it
Thanks for inputs
Burn down n burn up difference mentioned is incorrect
Thanks for inputs
Hi @@CareersTalk ; can you explain the correct difference pls ?
@sakthivelnarayanan6646
My understanding is:
A burn-down chart shows the amount of work remaining on a project (the remaining effort), whereas a burn-up chart shows how much work has been completed and the total scope of the project.
Simply put:
Burn down = yet to be done.
Burn up = work done.
I think it could have been explained more effectively by stating time and work done on x and y axis respectively
I'm looking for job in Android app developer 8 years experience. I'm eligible for job in Android app developer. I have do hard work and new challenge work
Very best wishes to you,
