Hi. Fazer Mk2 is just a noisy car….I’ve had two and that’s just how they are. I also added sway bars and a KRG-331 receiver which has a gyro and adjustable steering and throttle gain. It binds to the transmitter it came with. Check it out! Game changer for handling the Fazer
Thanx for this. I have a Fazer GTO with a sound kit. It sounds ultra realistic but I can't stand the way it pulls on acceleration. I just ordered a set of sway bars, thanx!
@@gaffle-411 sway bars: that’s going to help. Make sure you have your tires well glued (sorry if you know this already) if you reduce the spring tension in the rear you’ll get a squat which could help your pull problem. It gets tricky if the tire compound doesn’t match the surface you run on. This is where it gets fun though because if you can dial it in for bad tire/surface combo once you dial it in it’s amazing how well she’ll rip
Thank you 😊 I’ve got a few more vids of new models and one more of the tire video series I need to get posted. Stay tuned and thanks for subscribing 🤘🏼✅🪄
got my T/A body. Working on my Fazer. Got all the upgrades except the carbon fiber parts (hubs front and rear, Servo saver, engine mount, etc etc. Waiting for my Kanizrc center driveshaft to come, and sway bars are on backorder from AMain.I can't wait to get mine going. Trying to make a power system choice right now. Like that hobby wing stuff, but not sure. I have a Spektrum radio, and enjoy the telemetry it, and the Spektrum ESC offers, but really want a sensored unit to avoid that nasty cogging, and Spektrum doesn't offer one, only for crawlers.
The cheapo brushless I got to test the associated set is now in the lunch box and the esc/motor combo was $64 if that’s of interest, no sensor wire though. I believe I linked that in that video description. You’re building a nice car and yes agree about Spektrum telemetry.. I’m using the cheap slyrc radio with the Tekin and am happy with it because what the transmitter won’t do my esc can. Let us know what you choose 😎
Just about got mine done, everything except the shocks upgraded. I even went to 4-bevel gear diffs instead of the factory 2-bevel diffs, for 3s running. Like the body on yours.
Thank you, appreciate that. Sounds like you’ve got a tight build going on, especially the 4-bevel set you you’re going with. I’ve got a few other projects ahead of the ball diff upgrade but with as good as these bevel diffs are I’m in no hurry. 😎 Which body did you go with?
Where did you find the right shafts with the cutouts in them to use the 4 gears in the diff? I want to do that as well, as I'm also planning on going 3S, and see those two gears as sort of a weak point. Never seen only two gears in a diff like that before!
@@nsbob70 sorry for delay here I’m not sure why this didn’t show up in “no responded” those diff came with builders kit. Hope this is the answer you were looking for!
I got my sway bars in the other day. I see they wanted the 3mm setback on the ends for the front, but when I put them on like that, they weren't looking too comfortable. Had too much of an angle with the end links. Real cars aren't like that, so I put them to the ends of the front bar, and they seem to fit much nicerer now. :)
@@rotationnationRC Regrettably, it's sitting on my workbench, all wired up and ready to go, everything except my receiver! Still waiting for it, and I ordered it on 7/3! Something up with Horizon's shipping I guess. I'm really hoping it'll be here tomorrow. (today, now, 7/11!) I can't WAIT to try it out! This delay has given me extra time to do an extra carful job setting up and trimming the body. Boy that's a nailbiter making the holes for the body! It's do or die time right then and there! lol That's where the men step up with the reamer tool! LMAO I got it pretty well lined up. Seems the front holes are like, 1/2 a mm off to one side though. "Can't have nice things!"
@@nsbob70 oh man is it ever. Waiting can also be brutal. The last body I did I marked the tires and body to line up front to back and set it down on painted body posts and was super happy with the results. I just made tape marks for side to side, worked great. This next time though its all about holes in the clear body. nsbob70, a .5 MM! Thats darn close I bet you soon forget once that thing is ripping it
@@nsbob70 body mounting is a thing. I won't paint first again! I did come up with a pretty slick method on my GTO drag body but just painting the posts the trick was setting the body down in the right orientation so I made a simple jig by putting tape on the body and the work table so I knew were to put it down. That was by far the best "painted body' mount job I did. Anyhow, how's the project coming? did you get the receiver??
Thanks for letting me know that! When I saw the screaming chicken body Instantly thought that Pontiac blue would be a sweet color on it. I’ve got another one with this car coming soon and I did put a link in the description for that body. The color is Tamiya light blue! Thanks again and have fun building up that body!
Appreciate that. I am about to put up a pure running video in the meantime check out the description and the body is linked there. Same with that paint
Sorry for thr late reply. I found a tip that has my fazer hooking up . I plan to do a video soon but basically try with soft suspension after you dial in your diffs with firm suspension. Why? Because when it’s firm it’s harder to dial in. It’s hooooooking now
It’s a 18.5 motor and I tuned the radio sensitivity up. The other is tries they are the mildly treaded street ones I have in the videos. Hope this helps!
Sway bars did help me but I’m thinking my tires and road surface where I tested before and after were a good match. I think using foam tires is probably the easiest way to add a bunch of performance.

Great feedback it’s nice to hear from someone with Fazer experience. I’ll activate my gyro and check that out. Thanks for the tips!

That trans am body is seriously cool.
Really appreciate that. As soon as I saw the body kit I knew that was the look I was going for. Thanks again!
Jeez, that's a beast.
I'm gonna go watch the rwst of the videos of it.

You have done a lot of upgrades to this, but it does handle so nice. Nice old car parked across the road.
I’ve filmed more run time with it and really need to get that posted. Appreciate that. Model A that probably needs a full walk around vid
Do you think the heat sink is worth it?
They way I drive it yes definitely. The fab and hear sink are necessary
Great video.

The ball diff is it a necessary upgrade
I would say no unless you are patient and are seeking the ultimate in handling. The 4 gear diffs are good too
