Out of all the TH-camrs that do RC cars you’re driving videos are the best of the best. I thoroughly enjoy all of them. You’re a legend. I can’t even hold a camera and drive my Rockcrawler unless you like to see footage of people shoes lol
Bro, you made this look like a real car driving through a countryside ! Your editing and video skills are crazy good! And the music selection was on point. The detail on this car is unbelievable
Absolute favorite action RC vid ever!! I don't usually use absolutes, but I believe here it's appropriate. Man your edits... But this one in particular. It's so AMAZING! WOW! From setting the tone with filters and the 70s flair to it, the location that looks like actual Africa, yet its Canada, the perfect choice of music and how it all comes together like more than the sum of its parts.
The way you edited the rc action part of the video and just the style is awesome! Looked like something from the 70's, same as the car. Badass! I really enjoyed this and actually saved this video. Never seen your channel before but I had to subscribe after seeing this
I do not understand why you do not have 3 million subscribers !!!! I have been enjoying this RC for more than 20 years and your channel is no doubt my all-time favorite !!!! Lots of energy, excellent vid shooting, fulfilling contents, excellent attitude, honest and funny !!!!
That music was an absolute vibe, man! This car looks fun, I’ve considered a Tamiya rally kit but always known I would spend too much on upgrades, over-power it like crazy and spend so much time on the body that I’d be afraid to really use it. This seems like it’s ready to party out of the box.
@@ptaku2007 Sure! But if I bought an XV02 pro I would put killer electronics in it, make it very fast, and spend a lot of time on the body. Then I would have a $700 rally car that does 50 mph and that I had a ton of time invested in. I would be less inclined to have carefree good times with it. That’s just me knowing how I am. Better is not always more fun.
Believe me, you probably won't put anything out of this world because it doesn't need it. 3000-4000kv or 17.5t to 21t motor is enough to have fun. Shure you can put something outrageous but with big power comes a lot of service. Fazer is more of tt02 but from kyosho so on road platform. With rally conversion it will still not be able to compete on dirt and gravel with xv series or any other rally chassis. Plus the xv02 is more customizable and if you don't want to paint a body, you can buy one from kyosho.
It definitely is. I haven’t built the Tamiya version (though I have an XV-01 Pro sitting in a box) to compare, but the Fazer rally edition in RTR form is completely ready to rip!
Honestly, this Kyosho is a thing f beauty. I wanted one for sheer looks before watching your review. Your camera work and editing made this rally car look _even better_ on the trail! Now it's a must have! Damn you, Evil Matt!! * Shakes fist in impotent fury in the general direction of Canada. * 🤣
So I could LITERALLY just watch your run footage edits!!! It is just such a joy to watch these cars go when shown with the right speed, angles and the music just makes it!!!! You have SERIOUS talent for this man! Great job brother!!!
Awesome video as usual bro..the running footage was like watching a 60's spy drama, it's amazing! I hope you keep it up as we love catching your videos! Thanks for sharing
The original Datsun 240Z was front engine / rear wheel drive with manual 4 speed gearbox. Here in UK my dad had a 240Z with 5 speed goarbox, with suspension upgrades and a bif of work it was a dang good rally car. In the early 1980s my mum beat my dads datsun 240Z in her MK1 Ford Escort rally car in the Borders, 2 Welsh and 3 of the Scottish RAC rally stages. I have a 1:8 scale escort but now I got to get the Datsun 240Z too, both cars hold many memories. Cool motors from a time when Rally was King
Again that’s another amazing video and review!! Loved the very fitting 60-70’s vibes you had and the driving footage was superb! Felt like I was watching a vintage styled montage of the actual rally car 👍🏻. Great job!
Came here after the Wednesday night stream. TH-cam isn't showing me your new videos even though I have the bell clicked. By far the best looking Fazer so far. I kind of want one.
Rally? Yes! I have a couple Kyosho Fazer Mk2's (on-road) and they're great cars. Handling is exceptional. And, Kyosho really knocks it out of the park with their bodies. Nice review. I'd own one of these.
Incredible running footage, as always!!! 👏👏👏🙏 And the music gave me some African action vibes, for sure! 👌 Kyosho is one of the best brands when considering bodies. They're really top notch! 👌 Still, even though the body posts are kinda hidden in this model, I really can't understand why they keep doing them... This bodies deserve another system. Are magnets that expensive/complicated to introduce to the manufacturing process?? :p
@@scalebuildersguild well, that would also work! Not as easy to swap bodies though, right? My little experience makes me see magnets as a system that has the great flexibility of body posts + clips (allows us to easily change the body on a car) without the disadvantage of making holes on said bodies and making us look at eye piercing pins. 😛 What are the disadvantages of magnets? The risk of messing the paint job if one chooses to glue the magnets? 🤔 (my little experience taught me you need to be really careful... 😅)
Absolutely great video. perfect music selection for the run Montage. Felt like i was back in the late 60's/ early 70's watching the Datsun compete in the African rallies. Keep it up!
Great channel Matt. Love all the different segments/shows you do. Awesome builds, great comedy, useful info, and the best run videos of anyone. Thank you.
This video is a new favorite! The run portion is epically filmed! I owned a ‘72 240Z… brings back memories driving that thing! Now I have to get one of these!!!
Matt, It really looks like you enjoyed driving this Rally Beast!! I enjoyed the running portion of the video! Really showcases the joy you had editing it!! Great Video!
So, speaking from someone who owned a 280z, I love this. I rally a 1:1 Focus, so now I really love this! The fact you didn't keep this for only channel members, well then I just love you for doing this. Us commoners appreciate it.
I have the Subaru wrc version of the fazer. It stays in the dirt. It jumps, it slides, it handles it! Legitimate rally car. The steering can get stuck with dirt sometimes, but it fixes itself.
and of course this comes out right after I completed my TT02 rally car. This datsun is so worthy of selling my TT02 and replacing it with this one. Well done Kyosho!
Another amazing review! I love watching your running videos, always top tier! Keep up the great work my man! My first car was a Datsun 280Z and this car looks amazing!
Absolutely love your videos!! And you have my vote for more rally cars YESSS 😂 Was thinking how awesome this car would look with mad bright lights up front, just like the real thing. Thanks again for the amazing content 👍🏻
I picked up the fazer platform when they came out with the old skyline body. For me it’s perfect , with no want for upgrades. Just plug in the battery and blast it around a parking lot.
That running footage was epic! The LS Post running video is still my favourite but this is a very close second! The African-inspired music was on point. Such a nice break from the ubiquitous Bro-rock-ountry.
Outstanding running video, Matt!!! We’re not for the lack of inner fenders the model would be indistinguishable from the real thing in certain shots 👍👍👍
Almost about to say, its the best looking non-trailtruck chassis. Reminds me of the tamiya rally kits we had many years ago. These as a rallycar would also be a great entrance for the drift world with the 4wd. And yes, sweet body. 👍😎
I've been waiting anxiously for that to come out. I had a '72 240Z. Nissan used the Datsun name when they brought it to America so that if the 240 failed it would not hurt the Nissan brand.
Just watched this before I start leg 2 of my online rally. I've looked at these before and thought about buying one before, Definitely need to get one now
I had a 1973 Datsun 260, what a great little car. This appears to significantly better than the Tamiya version that came out if this car on a TT02 chassis. You should put an interior into this car
great video! absolutely love this car, as i have the 240z fazer non rally, but do have the scoob rally edition! nice running video too, though sometimes a little overexposed but really nice composed shots! nice work! and of course a really nice review! :)
Superb running video, soundtrack is great. Just what you would expect if this was a James Bond movie and a fancy club on the sub continent somewhere. Great stuff. Car looks very nice, may have to take a look at one of these. thx.

It won overall, and brought Datsun 2nd win in a row. So hard to film fast cars but you make it look easy! Amazing Kyosho body!
