I have to say that after being out of RC for a while now, this is really making hard to not get back into it. I love the idea of all the parts being realistic instead of the old decal grills and headlights. Great video good job and keep them coming
During the late '50's and early 60's there were a lot of 'fins and bullet designs'. It was the era of rockets, space and super-sonic flight which drew the attention of the designers and customers...
The “wagon” you’re showing is a NOMAD!!! They had 2 door hard top(no door posts) 2 door sedan(door posts, 4 door hard top(no door posts) 4 door sedan(door posts), 2 door panel wagon(no rear side windows, but has door posts), nomad which is what you showed for a wagon, and are rare and sought after, and a 4 door wagon. Trim levels were 150(base post car), 210( more equipped post car) bel air( lots of fancy chrome in both post car and hard top) and the rare nomad(which was only available in bel air trim)
Nice looking body they really paid attention to detail, Im not sure why tho in 2023 anyone sells RC vehicles with brushed motors in them, 90 % of these motors end up in the landfill, at this point in time either sell them for less with no motor or come standard with Brushless for a few more dollars 💯👍🏼
I agree…that’s the main reason I wouldn’t purchase. It sucks that only certain companies like traxxas is doing away with it. Most still use them and I hate it.
After looking at more and more videos on touring cars, I realized my Cen Racing F450 is closer to a touring car. With the foam bumper, anti roll bars, and stiffer springs
Built one years ago 1/12 scale 57 chev, 14turn double, 12 nicads. Li-po's and brushless motors weren't around then, would have been insane with 8's and brushless.
That would be the bel air trim style. The "bliners" mentioned on the front fender are actually just fins. The 210 model did not have the chrome or gold inserts to finish off the fins. Chevy actually made close to 15 different body styles for the 1957 chevy.
I do have one in my wish list and plan on buying one on my next Amain purchase but one thing I wish Kyosho would do is come up with a different body mount system rather than those old style body post sticking out.
That's so COOL to see the Older Nostalgic body's coming more into the Hobby and this 57 is a Great looking Model... Except for those Body Clip's , that really kinda ruin's it for me... But a Great review Brett 👍😎👍 AOAH Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend 🏁💯🏁
Very detailed review as usual Brett I appreciate that, Kyosho makes the most detailed liscensed bodies in the hobby in my opinion this one is no exception, I'm curious if anyone at Amain Hobbies knows where the fuel access is on a 57' Belair?... hint it's on the driver's side, thank's for sharing 😉👍
Hey I want to build a car kit to go with an Austin Healey 3000 body I picked up 1/10 scale to honor my Grandfather who brought one back in 1960 this looks like an awesome chassis but do they have a build kit that would be a good fit for a 1/10 scale Austin Healey body
Kyosho i bought the charger. And rear light kits was already stopped in production wasn't happy, but learned to make my own at a fraction of the price. 17$ for a 1$ light is sad
@@famphil really? That’s interesting. Man I remember ordering from dans comp monthly in high school in the early 2000s. Now here I am ordering monthly from amain.
This hurt lol 1957 they made 2 door post cars and 2 door hard tops. Just like the 4 doors they made them in a post car or a hard top car. They had nomads and handyman wagons
Ye you can buy any of the bodies but I'd assume this body won't be available for awhile, they have to first make some cash on the rtr before offering just the body 👍🏼
Hey Mikey Mike! I imagine Kyosho will sell the body in a clear version down the road. I tried to find a part number but it hasn't been listed yet (that I could find). The car isn't technically available yet, but should be available soon. If you come back and ask in a few weeks I might have a part number for you. -Brett
Just horrible - they put so much scale accuracy into the body, and.....4 body posts and clips!!! What a waste. Since the holes are there, you won't be able to retrofit with magnetic body mounting unless you cut out some lexan to patch the holes and paint-match and level-match everything.
looks amazing!!
Buy one kevin and send it too the moon 😍
Wow Kev your knocking on 2 million subscribers
Hi kev!
talbutt
Boom!
I really need to start collecting these kyosho cars. They are killing it with these!! I want them all!!
Yup they are killing it on the bodies...so many cool muscle cars!!!
Save money...😄 only on a budget to get one car..😁

Great stuff! I've always loved the '57 Bel Air...and Kyosho has done amazing work on this reproduction!

couldnt figure out how to do a clipless design?
nice body,with HUGE CLIPS!
Brett, that beard is fire!! Keep up the great work!!
I love this so much. Kyosho again for the scale win!
The color combination is amazing! Elite model!
A diamond in rc-cars
A-main this is the 13th time you brought fazer with new body to class.

A child of the 60's. So this body? 'Merica baby!
Time for Kyosho to do away with body pins. It’s beautiful though.
Kyosho knocking it out of the park again, just those body clips. When or if they release their first clipless system that car will never be in stock.
I agree…that’s the main reason I wouldn’t purchase. It sucks that only certain companies like traxxas is doing away with it. Most still use them and I hate it.
Man, you guys pump out great content. You deliver interesting infos, no bullshit, no endless blabla. In other words: You do deliver great stuff.
Thanks!
What a great looking car. It should be primer grey in hommage for "two lane blacktop".
2 lane black top used a 55 not 57.
@@dankellett6097 that's correct.👍🏻
Wow! That looks nice. Kyosho is going to beauty RC cars.
Looks terrific!
Can't wait till my local hobby shop gets them in, I will be getting one, I think it will look good on the hauler!!!!
They need to get in stock
Bearded Brett is now my favorite Brett.
Those rally wheels look really good
After looking at more and more videos on touring cars, I realized my Cen Racing F450 is closer to a touring car. With the foam bumper, anti roll bars, and stiffer springs
Excellent review as always. Car looks stunning 😊
Very cool and detailed now I need to have one
Would have been nice to have someone who know something about the most iconic Chevy in history talking about this car.
This is actually a very nice looking rc. I'm a fool for old school cars though, maybe I'm biased lol.
Great looking car I wish Kyosho went with out the body posts
this is an amazing Chevy looks 🔥🔥did a great job very detailed 👍🏼

I need a 55 😐 they had a hard top and a post 2 door. You have a hard top version
Kyosho needs to come out with some classic bodies for Mini-z.
Love it !!! ❤️
I bet someone could turn this car into a sweet low rider
You read my mind! This body on the Redcat Lowrider would be a killer combination.
-Brett
Any chance of color options or unpainted bodies in the future?

@Bastelhansthat's right drivers side taillight do you work at Amain?
Kyosho really needs to do a proper rally car with this fazer Mk2 platform, with longer travel shocks and all terrain tires
they do offer a conversion kit for the mk2
Kinda want to see one of these bodies on a Redcat low rider…
Nice video❤🎉👍
Heck YEA!!! Just like my dad's car!!! Still won't let me drive it!!!!🤣🤣🤣
This brings back memories to the movie "Christine"
Christine was a plymouth, not a chevy

If they ever come out with a '59 Miller-Meteor, my wallet is _so screwed_
I was 6 when that car came out lol
Kyosho i bought the charger. And rear light kits was already stopped in production wasn't happy, but learned to make my own at a fraction of the price. 17$ for a 1$ light is sad
I like the fact kyosho went with a 50s style car but I wish they would have put stock wheels and white wall tires thats just my opinion though
Looks good👍
Can you get it in "Christine Movie Red" ?
Christine was a mopar
Man is that cool
Why are these being done with clipless body mounts??
If they made a wagon version they'd already have my money come pay day!
I couldn't bring myself to run it..
It's not a case of if I wreck it but when I wreck it.! 😉 😉
That's bad ass 🤠🤙🏼
will they sell the body separate?, not really interested in the Fazer mk2
Yes, I believe they'll have a clear version.
-Brett
I can see avenger monster truck paint jobs already.
I have a hardbody I painted in the rusty blue and green for my ax10 ridgecrest. It was pre smt10 days or I'd of done that one
I want those rims for my Kyosho 69 Camaro.
I love it!
Hold up, is that a Dan's Comp hat? Does Brett BMX too? My two favorite hobbies!
I believe Amain owns danscomp and performance.
@@famphil really? That’s interesting. Man I remember ordering from dans comp monthly in high school in the early 2000s. Now here I am ordering monthly from amain.
Please tell what kind of Best battery I can get for my arrma Infraction 3s BLX
Looks just like my actual 57 Bel-Air!
Can we get a mad wagon review?

Would be better without the body pins, something under the body.
Does Kyushu not do Fords?
It would Be shelf queen. Only good on the road.
It's so cool
Hi there Brett, can you buy the body shell kit by itself?? Great video man, really enjoyed it and the car.😊 That body is the bomb 💣 🍁🍁🍁

Brett, Kevin, Medic, and Exo all need to get together and collaborate on a rig that’s not corporate
Nitro would be really cool as well. I mean come on, the old muscle cars had the sound.
Recognize where the Soviet "Tchaika" ("Seagull") has its roots.
Sorry, you had to look up a '57 Chevy? One of the most iconic American cars of all time?!🙄
Bonjour
Il devrait sortir la version nomade
I want this to put 1.9 on it
funny even amain can't get kyosho parts 😆
You are wrong on a station wagon it was 4 door the one you had was a Nomad
🤣🤣🤣 he said blinkers on the side of the guards 🤣🤣🤣🤣 they are not blinkers.
But "bodyclips" like this ,"why Kyosho"??
Better in red (Christine)
it is FZ02L, not FZ02
🤟🏼🔥🔥🔥

I need it
Id rather see a 55
Superb body
Body Mount looks disgusting and broke all great look this lovely car!
Why do they waste effort on printing on new box graphics. Just release the body
I don't get it. They put in all the work to make these beautiful bodied RCs, then ruin them with body posts. It's truly confounding 🤷♂
body post turn off
Omg
Hard to want to support a company like kyosho, their product support is ass.. nothing in stock for months if not years lmao
I don't care how many bodies they release, I'll never buy a Fazer mk2 chassis
Same.
Mind if I ask why? I've never heard anything bad about them myself
@@lonemindinacrowd same
@@lonemindinacrowd they are 99% plastic, they look like they are made as cheap as possible, also not great aftermarket support.
lol🤣
Don’t talk about cars ( 1957), you need to do more research. Sorry a car guy that tinkers with RC.
No.. just no😑
shut up and take my money!
He went from about 16 to 60 with that beard
get a job
