ngl when i found the channel i was like "this guys never hitting 48 with this form" but now i just feel inspired to hit the track and work on my own times... i could see a sub 50 next season if you do it right. however i always suggest slower progress to maintain peak health for longer. keep this consistency up and you WILL run sub 48. be patient.
"We are doing 300s 34-36s pace Full recovery... after 10 MINUTES we started the 2nd rep." Like Bro, I could never run two fast 300s with just 10 minutes of rest. Gonna have my first race of the season today. Mixed 4x4. German viewer here! :D Keep up the good content man and good luck for the next races!
Take as much time as you need. 2×300m is a solid workout. It gets easier the more you do it. You could even try 3x300m with 5 minutes rest all out, and it will make 2 times feel easy.
Thank you for the kind comment, my German friend! 300s are so tough but especially once you're used to the 200 style workouts we do, the 3's start feeling a lot easier
You're vids might be my favorite thing to watch every week, me being a 300 Hurdler your info is so inspiring, keep up the great work, that 48 coming in a month trust🤞
Hearing that made my day man thank you, I wish you luck with the 300m hurdles, long hurdling events are mind blowing to me I don't think I could ever do them!
Great vid and awesome progress! If you are beating sub 50 pr guys in a race then you definitely have the determination to reach your 48 goal. It's just a matter of perfecting your race at this point. It was great to sea you run the 4x1 since I also had the chance recently where my team did a senior 4x1 at a meet. Keep up the good work and I'll see you next week!
I agree, I've gotta get my race strategy down and then hopefully some cool things will happen! The 4x1 is a lot of pressure but a ton of fun too, cool that you guys got to run it!
Great progress!! You are doing what a lot of people can't - performing up to your level in real competition. If you continue to progress this way in a few years you'll be sub 22 and 47.x
That 400 was executed very well, although you didn’t break 50 that was a phenomenal race 🔥 are you running in college or is this some kind of unattached club team?
Thank you, that's really nice to hear! I am running in college at the d3 level, but I am graduating tomorrow so I'll be running unattached from here on out
@@SimonShawk5 that’s awesome bro congrats on graduating, I was In college for a bit myself a junior college and then decided to pursue other things after getting injured. But I’m now back to training and competing for the first time after highschool, unattached. I’m super hyped. Keep up the great work with your content and on the track bro it’s inspiring 🤝
Always the 4x4. It hurts more for sure but the energy you get from the crowd is literally like nothing else. And I've gotten so close to my 4x4 guys over my three years at college, I'm gonna miss running that relay so much
They seem to be very effective and there's a reason they're used so frequently. I've never used them, but I haven't picked them up because of their durability (the bubble can pop as I'm sure you know, and I want my spikes to last a long time) and because some people say the stiffness can make it tough to run some turns like in the 200 and the 200 is one of my favorite events. I know some people have used them on turns just fine and run very well, though. Probably a personal preference thing! I have used the superfly elite 2s for 2 seasons now and I like them a lot

Excellent stuff! Stay relaxed, lift the feet, and let progress happen. Looking forward to seeing more!
I've been working on that relaxation, it's so tough! Thanks for watching!

Nijel amos runs a 21.4 200m and 44.9 400m he is an 800m runner does 1500m too
You have to have some serious speed to be an elite mid distance runner

That's awesome, I'd love to hear how training and competing goes for you after the time off. Thanks for the kind words and for following my content
By the end of the season will you enjoy the 4x1 more or 4x4 ?
Always the 4x4. It hurts more for sure but the energy you get from the crowd is literally like nothing else. And I've gotten so close to my 4x4 guys over my three years at college, I'm gonna miss running that relay so much
