Well actually, the Phoenix King and Everqueen’s mariage is formal before anything else. They are free to take consorts, but only the child born of the union between the two monarchs can be the next Everqueen.

Huh, so the death of the Everqueen and the Battle of the Finuval Plain coincided with the Great War Against Chaos. Tyrion, Teclis and Alarielle show their real powers here.
Really like the voice work in this one.
Being a graybeard at 53 amd buying the 1st edition ruleset in 1983 I beleive the year was (we used colored Risk pieces because at 15 not affording miniatures) The first edition had almost zero in lore. That would change edition by edition. I just stumbled on these today. Watched one. Gladly will support this. Great narration and keeps the flavor of the world nice. Give me some new stuff to watch awaiting past TWWH2 DLC and of course WH3. Great storytelling I commend.

Man, seems every time I tune in Malekith is allying with Chaos. But don't worry guys, he's totally the good guy all along. These aren't Chaos Elves. Totally not.
And it was totally Gods' plan all along for Malekith to become the Phoenix King :P

Morathi was watching the Battle of Finuval Plains in her crystal ball, when Poisonblade was about to kill Tyrion she saw that he looked like a copy of Aenerion she panicked and used her magic so that Poisonblade's strike would bounce
8th edition retcon of previous lore, 8th edition lore additions are mostly trash and gave way to the even worse trash of the end times. No wonder it wasn't mentioned, it is one of those things that lessen the warhammer world as a whole.

The worst of it was how they made Malekith Phoenix King. They directly contradicted the actual canon just because the writer hated the High Elves. What garbage, I refuse to recognize it
i am honestly surprised she didnt went straight for the sword of khaine.....
Only a madman filled with grief and rage would pick that sword up, which is why Aenarion picked it up after his first family (presumebly to him) died and tyrion picked it up when his daughter died and found out his own brother aided in her death in the End Times

To be honest alarielle and the ever queens are really cool but I still like teclis better because hes honestly just the better mage alarielle is powerful and no doubt strong enough to take out somone like kairos but one major weakness is her connection to ulthuan if it gets invaded shes starts to weaken but I have no doubt she is one the strongest elf characters but teclis is just more powerful in terms of raw magical power
I mean Teclis is like the top mage in Warhammer, I think the only one better then him was Nagash right? So ya Alarielle being weaker then him isn't really a downside lol.

As evil and cruel as the Dark Elves are, it seems extremely dumb for them to ally with Chaos. They should know that if Chaos destroyed Ulthuan, they'd unravel the Vortex and kill all the Dark Elves too.

Can somebody please explain what's up with the AoS Alarielle? Did she merge with Ariel? That's what it seems like. Plus now she's Sylvaneth.
During the End Time, Alarielle took the power of a dying Ariel to accomplish Teclis' plan of binding the 8 Winds to 8 Incarnates to replace the Vortex and eventually defeat Archaon.
It backfired with Manfred's betrayal and the Warhammer world was destroyed.
When the Winds turned to the Mortal Realms, Alarielle was brought back by Ghyran and became the Goddess of Life in Sigmar's new Pantheon, where she nurtured the Sylvaneth.
Eventually, Chaos came back and Alarielle fought the invasion of Ghyran by Nurgle. Long story short, the Wood Elves saw the tide turn in Chaos' favour and followed Sigmar to the Realm of Azyr when he chose to prepare the counter attack. Alarielle and the Sylvaneth took it personnally and were eventually forced to hide before Nurgle's onslaught.
When the Age of Sigmar came, Sigmar send his Stormcast Eternal to Ghyran, seeking the Everqueen to help him. In doing so, they lead Nurgle to her hiding place and she is killed.
Although, being a God of the Realm comes with a few avdvantages. Such as being eventually returned by a Sylvaneth ritual, protected by the now seeking redemption Stormcasts. They returned Alarielle to her war aspect and now she leads the people of Ghyran to take the Realm back.

I sure can! Basically, GW wanted to crash Fantasy into the ground because they were salty that Storm of Chaos didn't let them, so they sidestepped the fans, wrote a retcon/character assassinating piece of garbage called "End Times", and from that conjured up the joke we now call "AoS".
Storm of Chaos will always be the canon.

I think my favourite Chad Tyrion moment is when the Dark Elves attacked the Everqueen during her crowning and Tyrion basically threw her over his shoulder and slaughtered his way out of the attack lol.

I am utterly convinced that the people who come up with Druchi names for Lore and Tabletop have a big book of Chuuni names and just smash them together to see what sounds the 'edgiest' and most cringy. I swear, the Dark Elves are all a bunch of edgy teenagers. What, do they also each have a dark and edgy Sonic the Hedgehog OC as well?

You did not mention the elite Wood Elf special forces sent through he world roots from Atheloren , that distracted the Demons , allowing the Everqueen to move away, at cost of most of their lives.
p.s. I think it was a Woodelf kinband lead by the legendary Glade Captain Scarloc the Wanderer.
