      I appreciate the efforts and quality of the content for all the videos (except this one) Try to compare it with scalping. Most options buyers either scalp or hold for a day or 2. If i was someone new to options this would mislead me.

    Though theoretically its correct that option buyers will make money only if it crosses his strike price + premium, practically it doesnt need to be true. As long as market goes same as his view, his premium is going to increase and he is going to pocket the difference and exit. Or have I misunderstood?

    In butterfly trade, if market go bullish then short position will go in loss and penalty will be levied on short margin (available cash minus margin amount). Means you have to keep surplus cash in your trading as per the loss amount showing in short position. Here profit of Long position will not be taken as adjustment.

    I would say the odds are 80% in favor of option seller. Suppose an option seller has sold puts (PE). He will make money when 1) markets are super bullish, 2)markets are bullish, 3) markets are sideway 4) markets are slightly bearish. The option seller will only make loss when markets go extremely against his selling side (which in this case will be when markets turn super bearish). The seller has margin of safety till premium amount

    While closing the position first we need to close sell call and then buy call.

    thank you for spreading knowledge but instead of buying 35300 ce and sell 35700 ce we can do buy 35500 ce and sell 36000 ce which will be better if my view is clear

    Hi Saket, due to this series I have started executing spreads. But can you please explain Net obligation for Equity F&O and why it is shown in debit column even when you are in profit?

  • @zeus6328
    @zeus6328 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just change the CEs to PEs and you will get a Bull Put Spread with the exact same payoff. Better play this as a Bull Put spread because it will be easier to adjust and visualise as a credit spread. Plus, liquidity will be better.
