The video was shot in Poland, in old stronghold called Wolin, at the shore of Baltic sea. 20 kilometers from where I live. Every year(before COVID) there was huge Viking festival. There was a sea battle and land battle like that one in the video, but with much more warriors. People came a month before the mail festival to live there like they used to live in middle ages. I saw the main battle, THAT WAS SOMETHING!
Yeah, many if not all of the fighters in the video are actual reenactors from the group "Jomsborg", I even see Igor, the leader of their "Eastern Storm".
Runes to memory is fire also.
These guys live shows are the best. Such a amazingly awesome experience!!!

The song lyircs are pretty cool, they tell about Thor defeating this giant ass serpent that was about to devour the world. That's why Thor is the protector of mankind.
YEEEESSSSSS more Amon Amarth! All the songs from the new album are fantastic, definitely check out Iron Side, Fafner's Gold, Crack the Sky, Shield Wall and The Berserker at Stamford Bridge. From their previous albums I recommend Raise Your Horns, At Dawn's First Light, The Way of Vikings, and one of my favorites: Blood Eagle. Also if you ever get the opportunity to go see them live, DO IT. They are one of the best live bands I have ever seen

Saw them live when they where on slayers farewell tour there amazing live knew every word to all the songs great band live even my dad who is not into newer metal likes them
This is the song that got me hooked on them!! A few other songs by them that you should also check out are The Way of Vikings, Deceiver of the Gods, Raven's flight, and On a Sea of Blood.
Next Amon Amarth song should be "Thousand Years of Oppression". It goes back a ways in their catalog and is a little different from what you've heard so far. One of their best songs from what I believe is their best album (Versus the World). But you could throw a dart at their entire catalog and come up with something great almost every time.

I spent some time with this band on 70000 tons of metal. They were among the nicest bands on board. We laughed, had some Beers, they are really cool guy's.
