The CS paddles sound louder in the video, might be my DIY paddles make the camera mic auto dampen high sharp sounds? But the DIY paddles sound higher to my ears irl.

The quiet shifts sound a bit more "rounded". Im not sure ai like the sharper sounding clicks but Im sure they all feel amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Yeah it's really hard getting this on video, the DIY ones have a bit louder and sharper sound, the bought CS paddles a bit lower, dampened sound.
In an In action video I've done the CS paddles don't come through my Rift S mic, but my DIY paddles can be heard in my Rift S mic when recording.
@@RVRCloset must be a frequency thing. Lots of mics/speakers are more sensitive to certain frequencies based on the material/thickness of the diaphragms and obviously how the circuitry amplifies certain things. Also an individual's hearing abilities play a huge factor in perceived loudness. You probably already are very aware of all this but just in case! ;)

Very interesting video! Magnetic paddle shifters are really great and you can't go back to regular shifters once you start using magnetic though it's not cheap and I think I would like to challenge DIY on the next one since yours look cool!

Nice comparison. The Fanatec APMs are the only magnetic shifters I’ve ever used. They feel good but I’d probably never upgrade my non mag shifters. I guess it’s my general lost of interest in paddle shifting wheels and cars.

Good comparison, the BMW GT3 does sound dull and sloppy, what brand are on the DimSim? I'm a fan of fixed paddles rather than floating on the wheel, nothing worse than being crossed up sliding backwards and flick to top rather than reverse. You're getting quite the collection of wheels now.

Yeah I've got to admit that I don't know what you're talking about I think you've got it backwards the Club Sport are better you are entitled to opinion
Clearly I know what I'm talking about and what I like. The feeling of all three are almost identical, but I like the higher undampened sound of my DIY Dimsim and Formula black better. Weirdly the SC paddles sound higher in this video, but this will show in an upcomming In Action Video of the SC paddles.
