Nice video! It really captures the energy of Rutgers. I’m a senior at this school. It’s crazy to think this is my last year here. Enjoy your time here.
Nice vlog, dude. I was an exchange student at Rutgers and was missing it so I found your vlog and made me miss it a little less. Could you maybe do a vlog at Bush? I honestly liked their dining hall better than Livi, except for that burguer part on Livi that was pretty awesome
You can lookup bus schedules on the Rutgers app (free on the app store) and can find the routes by just googling "Rutgers B bus" for example and choosing the first or second result, a pdf of the route, published by Rutgers. I got used to the busses after the first week or so and didn't get too much. Its definitely a good idea to find the locations of all your classes a few days before class officially starts. That should get you used to the busses as well.
Haha, they feel a little like it too. Overall, the Rutgers experience is great though! I'll have a video coming out soon with some of the details and a review of my year which gives a pretty good idea of what life is like here
Hi, I'm not sure if you did a video on this but whats the workload of colledge there for you. Im the type of guy who likes to go out and hang around but I do prioritize school work. How much free time do you usually have and do you find yourself overworked?
The dorms are doubles and are definitely fine for two people. I lived in a dorm last year and this year although I'll be doing off campus housing next year. In my opinion it doesn't really matter unless your a freshman. If its your first year you should definitely go for the dorm experience
hey bro nice vid, did you have a job freshmen year? im a junior in high school thinking of rutgers and suny albany and just trying to narrow it down. Also are their places to eat near campus?
Hey thanks alot. I did not have a job freshman year because I thought it would be better just to focus on school work and getting used to college. Instead I just worked two summer jobs before school. I know you can get part time work in the area though. And yes, theres lots of great places to eat near campus. Easton ave is a couple blocks from the dorms and has tons of restaurants from fast food to sit down. (Sakura sushi, Danny's pizza, stuff yer face, Mamoun's, Tacoria, Subway, King of Gyro, Krispy's, 25 burger, RU Hungry, Noodle gourmet, Thomas Sweets) just to name a few.
I’m currently working will studying at RU and depending on how many hours you work/type of work/whether you commute or dorm, or can get pretty hectic and stressful. I’d say if you decide to work, make sure it’s something that won’t take too much time/energy from focusing on school.
Do you have to set up the desks right up next to each other like that, or can you change that? Gonna be there next yr and that just looks sweaty and claustrophobic lol
Haha it is a little sweaty and claustrophobic living in the quads in general although you can rearrange the furniture however you like. I know some people who have the desks on opposite sides of the room. Luckily my roommate rarely uses his desk so I have the space to myself most of the time. If you're interested in seeing more of the room, I have another video where I do a tour of my dorm room. Additionally I hope to have a few vids up soon that go through the add drop process for classes and how the bus system works. Definitely let me know if you have any other questions and maybe I'll see you around campus next year!
I was literally on an LX last Thursday when the bus’s battery died and we were stuck on the George street steep ramp for like 30 seconds before he restarted it..just another day on the LX 🤧😂

Congratulations !!! 😊😊
You are really a lucky guy. 👍👍
What's your program ?
Any advices on things to do or avoid for a freshman?
Where can you look up bus schedules and where they stop?? Was it difficult for you to become accustomed to it or did you get lost a lot

It depends on your major. I major in econ and there is a large amount of work.
Awesome Vlogs, I’ll be attending Rutgers next year!!!!
Congrats man! I'm sure you'll love it here

THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD VLOG!!! KEEP IT UP!!
John 3:16. God bless!
are the rooms big enough for 2 people or its better off living off campus?

Cindy99765 Livingston definitely has the best food as far as dining halls go. College ave has great off campus restaurants though!
