McCoy and Carmichael get justice for a murdered ADA

  • This is sort of a minisode if you will...
    Following a case involving the russian mafia, an ADA also involved is murdered at a safe house, along with a material witnesses mother. Abbie Carmichael (played by Angie Harmon) emotionally presses on with ADA Jack McCoy to get justice for their murdered colleague. Great closing argument from Jack as always.

    They made this episode mainly to further humanize Carmichael. When this episode originally aired the fanbase was split on her, so the writers had her show emotion for her murdered friend in order to show that she was not completely tuff as she was portrayed on the show.

    Be that as it may, Jack McCoy could convince a jury of twelve Catholics to convict the Pope of heresy.

    • @matrixphijr
      @matrixphijr 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Alex Palmer Her name was Ricci. She was from some other district or branch, and was only consulting on the case because it involved the Russian mob and she was an expert, having lived and studied in Russia. Her character wasn't in any other episodes before this (and, obviously, not after). The actress, however, does reappear in several later episodes as a different character (a judge, if I remember correctly).

      Alex Palmer It's been a long time since I've seen it, but yeah, it is a good episode. It's a two-parter, by the way, called 'Refuge'. I think it's either season 8 or 9.

      Correct me bu this was not the murdered ADA episode. You might be mistaking it with Anna Parisse's character ADA Borgia who was killed in later seasons and dumped in a trunk. This episode was about the single mother who was a reluctant witness but was threatened and late killed with her kids.

    I was furious after watching Killerz tonight on 5USA because wants the blonde hair girl was arrested it was all about her. it was almost the Lawyer the judge forgot that she killed the 10 year old boy. It was all about her woe is her. What about the 10 year old boy he could have lived a good life if she hadn't killed there was nothing wrong with her if she was trying to be clever at setting up the mechanic it was nothing more then deliberate. Then when she was saying to the psychiatrist. How she killed the cat. That's how Freddy Krueger start as the 6 year old boy In Nightmare on Elm Street 6 where he a 6 year old Freddy kills a Hamster. Then gets a taste for killing and because he got away with killing he thought he could get away with it. That's how it looks with the Blonde hair girl. She kills the cat got taste no Consequences for the actins and kills a boy and by her mind has got away with that as well she will kill again she has a taste for it and so far got away with it
