I'm 70 and I remember how much I loved Kansas when their first album came out, after the first album, they were on a roll to superstardom. I have most of their albums on vinyl. I consder Kansas to be one of the all time greatest bands in history. It makes my heart happy to know that I grew up in the greatest time for music in History, and my heart swells with pride because I was lucky enough to fall in love with one of the greatest bands in history.

I saw them at Snavleys Pub in Greeley KS the first time they played as Kansas. Drove there in a blizzard. There were about 20 people... they played there because they weren't sure how they'd sound and didn't want to sound bad. But they did the first album. And their version of Smoke on the Water... Steinhart sang... Smoke on the Penis among others.

Always reminds me of"The Gnostic Gospel of Thomas" "The Kingdom of God is spread across the earth.Yet men see it not. Cleave the wood and you shall find me. Lift the stone, and I am there"...

"I sang this song before, maybe 100, maybe a 1000 years ago, No-one ever listens, I just play and then I go.Off into the distance like the Western heroes do. Tell me what you're gonna do..."Kerry Livgren was an Avatar...

Steve Walsh didn’t get the recognition as a singer……what an amazing voice and range!

Always a great band, seen them many times. I miss walsh vocals here. The orig lineup was fucking great. Walsh was bound to lose some of his range cause the man went hard back in the day, screaming, headstands, running in place. Damn they were good.

I was not a huge fan of the 35 anniversary specia.l to many original members had retired. But "Miracles out of Nowhere"was a fantastic live jam .it was loud ,plenty of reverb, and the backing instruments brought out a unbelievable tune to a crashing finish. Beautiful music
