When I was in high school in the '80s, I was working on a school project for French class. When my project partner called one evening, he started singing this song. I handed the phone to my mom and he ended up singing it to HER... then later in the year, he was in the school marching band during the town Christmas parade and as he marched by, my mom started singing it to HIM.... ahhhhhh we were both embarrassed, but now, 30+ years later, if I hit him up on FB or whatever we laugh about it. This was my last phone call to my love, when I returned home from work that day in 1985 he had committed suicide, and I thought my life was over but I still had our little sheltie puppy and I moved on at age 31 and I am now 67, thank you so much for this reaction!
