My service in the military took me to many different countries in Europe, Asia and Central / South America. We had our work mission of peace keeping, training and administrative duties but we also had plenty of off-time to explore the foreign lands and customs where we were stationed. We have a military organization called Morale Welfare & Recreation that organizes local tours and activities for US Military personnel stationed in Foreign Countries. And at one of my stations in West Germany (1986-88) I was working as a Medical Supply Technician in a US Military Depot. On the weekend I had a part-time job in German-American Club as a Bartender. It was a neighborhood bar on the military base that allowed the local people of the German village to socialize with the American military personnel.
I’m thinking about taking a seasonal job in Alaska glad I found this video. It’s funny how they put you as a bartender when you’ve had no experience. I remember thinking I should apply for that position at a different location but I was like but I’ve never been one they wouldn’t let me after this maybe they will haha
Hi Bronson, thanks for showing us around your work place,I know just what you were doing as I use to do bar work myself when I was working .the night were long and busy as you said. cheers mate,David.
It looks like your employers got a real bargain on bulk buy BLUE paint lol The room you were in at the start of the video looked way more cosy and hospitable than the wee kennel you were in at the end of the video? Your personality is well suited to bar work or any roll where dealing with the public and clients is required I loved the nature hike thru the woods Great interesting, down to earth, bubbly uplifting video Bronson, keep em coming
I was just glad you didn’t tinkle off the second story balcony!!!😂😮😂😊 It’s definitely a challenge to keep yourself occupied when you can’t exactly just jump in a vehicle when you want to escape and do something to break the routine!!! Hang in there and interact more with the tourists, surely they should be interesting and ever changing!!! Physical activity would help to break boredom! Tell us about how much light is in each day, do you have constant sunshine and what do you do to keep your sleep\wake schedule working for you?
Hey Dude, what an interesting life of adventure. I never tried bartending as I am not sure how to make all of the drinks. If I was just serving beers that would be ok lol. Wow working 7 days a week is a lot and with only one day off I am not sure how you found the time to make videos. But the videos you made are so awesome. Yeah, it would drive me crazy too if I didn't have anything else to do too. Like you, I am busy on the computer trying to put mining videos together from visiting old abandoned mining sites in eastern Nevada. I really appreciate your Alaska travel adventures videos along with your desert videos--they're so beautiful:)
Been Loving these Alaska Videos you have been adding the last month! I look forward to them with coffee on Sundays. I live in Utah Too and have thought about doing exactly what you are doing now so i could save some money next year to travel a bit.. How much are you Making there?
When you going home? I mean Alaska is beautiful and all but it kinda freaks me out out when you go for those walks you never know what lurking in those woods like a freaking bear 🐻 and you seem a little lonely I know you met a few friends but there’s no place like home ! Until your next video stay safe stay warm and like always may god watch over you on this amazing journey my friend 🙏❤️✌🏼
Why did you make that comment about Bud light? Btw.. I know why it is said .. I'm wondering why you personally said it and I'm hoping to God you're not that narrow-minded. Best wishes
I said it cause it’s true..? “People are scared of bud light because they are scared of the gay” It’s true, these fishermen know the rumor behind Bud Lights Reputation so they don’t dare touch it

@@bgrace27 Nice! that's not bad at all.
Glad you got to go and experience that.
Bro you need a Nintendo Switch! Games & youtube to enjoy & perfect for your astro van, can also hook up to a 12V DC tv/monitor (less energy draw)
@@StevenJeffrey-h2g send me one…. 😁

Currently I just got home, I’ve got a few more Alaska vids then back to Utah life!
Very Nice Weather! I live in Deep South Texas. It’s Hot Here🥵
One day off in 6 months is harsh! I'm surprised that it's legal to employ someone for so long without at least one day off per week!
Alaska rules man
Bud Light 😂 become Gay! 😂🏳️🌈❤️
@@stpetefl it’s no joke 😂 all these fisherman have heard the rumors and won’t dare ask for it anymore
@@bgrace27😂
I drink bud lite and it made me straight
How can bud lite make you gay
They put something in it to make you gay. That’s what they say.😂
They did some ad campaign about gay stuff and now nobody dares drink it because of the reputation it gave
Noo, really
Was it called love

Because how ridiculous it sounds. He was actually making fun of Bud Light boycotters.
