cool... not that bad to swap out. My "twenty" came w the normal bobber stock seat installed & the floater in a box lol. I'll change it up once I get bored & want it to look more "bobber-ish" .. thanks for the vid..!
Thanks for this video, I just installed my 1920 solo seat, thanks to you. I'll say--the electrical wiring is really tight against the bracket closest to the fender. It was brutal getting that single center screw in against the wiring, and then torquing it to spec. I actually set off a spark or two pulling my torque wrench off the screw once it was tight. Think this will cause any issues down the line?
Just ordered the chrome grab bar for this before watching your vid , you solo saddle looks a different color then my stock seat color , it looks like a more chocolate brown them my original tan brown, true or just the camera?
My seat came with the scout bobber twenty bike and yeah its a different color (maybe since I bought the twenty?). Looks like they only sell dessert tan and black.
I recently purchased the scout bobber Twenty and want to upgrade my seat. I love the brave saddle from Corbin but it's for the original scout bobber. Should it fit my bike.
Yeah I believe it will fit since the corbin doesn't use the latch bolt with the standard seat (scout twenty doesn't come with latch bolt). You will have to remove the solo saddle seat base and guard buts that's an easy job. Thanks for watching and good luck with the Corbin seat!
These are the part #'s provided by randymaynard35 (He was nice enough to leave it in the comments) Bolts #7519005 and the Seat dart/pin #5140611. Let me know if you need any more information. I can always take the seat off and take some pictures and measurements for you.
Yeah its a little bit of work to remove seat and inspect. There's a plug on the side which can hook up to a battery tender without removing seat which may be helpful.
Lose the music and specify which bolt goes where next time, please. I got a 1920 saddle without instructions and had to resort to this. Thank you, though.
Anyone that wants to go solo on a bobber twenty? I have that solo seat to sale or trade . I need the regular to match passenger seat on black if possible

Nice seat, but if you need to get to the battery for a boost, lots of work. I'm always boosting my scout. Anywhere near 32 degrees and I'm boosting.
