This same general also told everyone that while visiting old colleagues in the Pentagon in 2003, someone showed him a memo from the Secretary of Defense outlining how they were going to "take down" seven countries (IIRC: Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Libya, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran) in five years. This is the former HEAD OF NATO FORCES telling us our government decided in secret - with no vote or even democratic debate - that we were going to wage war or at least regime change ops in seven countries, and we all just kinda pretended it wasn't true. Our apathy and misplaced trust of our government and media knows no bounds.

I thought the same. Until I look into him.This guys statements really caught my eyes/ears. I just spent an hr looking up all the public statements he's made and I've come to the conclusion he's just another pawn supporting one political party. He only made those statements because he was running as a politician. He didn't make these statements with the people best interest in mind, only his own best interest in mind.

The reason we went back was due to George H.W Bushs desition not to go Bagdad maybe made him lose the election,but his son would finish the job for him..while Saddam was in custody on his last day he told his interrogator he had none he only said he did because believe or not he thought some group like Al Queda would come into his country, he also said he wouldn't have stopped trying to make them. It was because of the petro dollar. Almost all country's trade oil in dollars. This makes the dollar a very strong and stable currency. When the euro was created around 2000-2001, Iran started almost immediatly to trade oil in euro's because they hate America and know what they do to the world. After that Saddam was also very interested in trading Irak's oil in Euro's...also because he hated America. So Iran and Irak ( with one of the biggest oil reserves in the world ) on the edgde of both trading oil in Euro's. What would the rest of the middle east do when this happens..??? Qatar...Emirates.....Kuwait...?? This could make the dollar collapse, even the entire world economics because the dollar is the 'reserve' currency in the world. Still 70% of all world trade is in dollars.
THIS is exactly the reason why USA invate all these oil country's the last 25 years. Libya ( khadaffi ) was also thinking of selling their oil in Euro's. USA sitting on Syria oil right now, still protecting some oil fields with 2000 soldiers. They are trying for many years to get their feet inside Venezuela and to controle their oil.....It's the reason USA is helping Saoedi Arabia ( Irak war 90's and now with Jemen ) since their deal of trading oil in dollars.
