I have literally waited a lifetime and a day for you guys to REACT to this. Again, I love that you guys are able to acknowledge that it was a little trope-y but STILL cool! I wasn't going to watch this reaction but then I thought, hey, maybe someone will finally trash a crappy song for once. You're way too easily amused by the use of brass and strings. Oh well, at least Kevin was underwhelmed and Melissa and James danced around cliche before wimping out. Transferring film score cliches to pop music doesn't make them less of a cliche and it's nauseatingly cringy if you do it with Zero sense of humor or irony. James was overly hopeful that this song might expand people's sonic horizons, as though someone out there never watches films but is interested in pop music for the educational value it brings to their lives. Speaking of films, have none of you seen or listened to the soundtrack for Chariots of Fire?
