This video resolves the fault that consists of the transmission hitting or kicking the gearbox when engaging in second gear, which is related to solenoid B, the valve body and the application drums, discarding the latter as the transmission is becoming a total reconstruction, changing the valve body and solenoids. The bug also applies to Mazda 5, Mazda 6, Mazda CX7 and Ford Fusion, and some other vehicles.
The failure and electrical tests of the solenoids are described, mainly solenoid B, the drum, band and sprock application tables are presented, as well as the solenoid application table showing which ones apply in the second change. .
It shows how solenoid B is tested, the electrical resistance and the ultrasonic cleaning of the solenoids.
It is shown how to test the solenoid by feeding it with a regulated source of alternating current, and compressed air, mounting it on an adapter block, observing how it activates and deactivates and the current of the activation solenoid, measuring its resistance and concluding that the problem is not It's the solenoid.
The origin of the failure is described, which is the wear of the hole or perforation where the pressure accumulator of the 2-4 speed belt is housed, and because pressure is lost due to this failure, the transmission may present the code P0841.
The wear clearance of the bore is measured and to correct this wear it is carried out using a Transgo shift kit that includes oversized pistons and Teflon rings, tests are carried out before and after the repair, pneumatic test (with air) vacuum (with Sonnax vacuum pump and pressure gauge)
It is demonstrated that it is not such a failure generated by solenoid “E” but rather by pressure loss due to wear of two bushings that are in the pump stator. The test is carried out with a vacuum pump and Sonnax manometer where It is observed that there are vacuum losses, so it is concluded that the failure is in the bushings.
The correct way to change the bushings is shown, without hitting but using a screw pressing method. Once assembled, measurement and vacuum tests are carried out.
The rebuilt valve body and solenoids that will be mounted on this transmission are shown, and finally the street test is performed to verify the repairs that were made to this transmission, upshifts and downshifts, application of TCC and overdrive.

Buenas tardes excelente video, hace como 2 años tuve un honda civic 2008 automatico y precisamente me hacia eso, a veces de primera a segunda como que no entraba el cambio, pateaba tenia que darle velocidad para que no se sintiera
