Dude, this review and instructional video is legit! I would put it up there with Linus Tech Tips and his stuff. There are just not enough that get this level of review. Thanks for doing this!
Not gonna lie, your product reviews are better than some tech tubers I know. The editing, the voice over, the background music, the pacing. Everything is on point! Please do more product reviews, especially when you upgrade your setups. It's great to see you branch out to other content too
YES - most of them are to wordy and I end up fast forwarding through them to get to the meat and potatoes... it’s like they talk to hear themselves or something...like we aren’t here for you we here for the information, and Ernest knocked that out of the park! That’s why I love him lol
Used this video BOTH times I bought this mount to install after buying it based off your rec. don’t like or comment often so this is gold for you. More of this unboxing/installing of desk set ups.
I really appreciate this type of video. Hard to find good reviews for cheaper stuff. It's always either super expensive stuff or the lowest cheap stuff imaginable. Hard to find quality stuff for cheaper or in the middle range Thanks for this!
I realize that this is a video that is getting close to 2 years old. That being said...... This video is REALLY FREAKING GOOD! If you really are new at this, you're a natural. I'm on the hunt for monitor arms for pretty much the same reason. I just picked up 2 of the 28 inch MSI 4K 144hz monitors and I'm wanting to clear as much space as I can so it can be used functionally. I am all about "ballin' on a budget" when it comes to accessories. My search even goes as far as "best budget monitor arms" when looking for suggestions and reviews. Thanks for the time and effort you put into this video!
I was just getting ready to look for two arms, and now you saved me the time of research and money. Thank you! Edit: I ordered three and they came in today. They are all set up and work and look just as good as the expensive one that my husband has. Great find, Ernest!!!
This review is really just a reaction to the product you purchased. You broke down the key elements of the product, and put a spotlight on the features you felt made this product stand out from similar monitor arms you could've purchased for more. I don't even have monitors and I want to purchase them just in case I decide to get a PC.
I have the dual monitor stand and I can say that yes, you can turn your monitor in whatever orientation you'd like without feeling like it's gonna fall or anything. I was able to flip my monitor a full 180 with no issues.
Freaking excellent....to the point and totally thorough. I am impressed with this level of professionalism in both the video and the "cheap" monitor arm. Thanks a bunch.
Ok first THANK YOU!!!! I’ve been down the shopping rabbit hole for those arms, and gave up on picking so many times because.... there are so many and such a wide range of prices... SO YES THIS HELPED A TON! - Remember 90% of us come to TH-cam to research before buying and after for questioning on how to use or problems....So if you make videos for just about anything, it will help people.... I loved this and appreciate it a lot! -hope that helps... (hustle baby)
hey ernest! i just got 2 monitors for christmas and the same mount except mine is the double monitor mount (so the monitors are connected on the same pole, each with a separate swivel). i think it was like $50-$60 and it has worked so well for me. i completely second your review for this!
I have these exact mounts. They are great for the price point. I'm just not a fan of the plastic cable management. So I opted to used black split cable mesh, & just ziptied to the back side of the arms. Can't even notice the cables.
Thank you for making this video, bought mine used from Amazon Warehouse and you helped me determine that there's only one piece missing. Sadly that one piece is the vasa mount plate! Oh well I will get it sorted out. Thanks Brother!
@@ryanthelin6867 Sorry that it took so long to reply Ryan. Short answer? Yes it works. Long answer, I had to buy a new one (first was used and was missing the Vasa mount plate) I took parts from both of them and returned the first one (with one less missing part because their was another piece missing that I actually had more of from the new one) I also bought a ten dollar vesa mount plate but it was too thick. I am keeping it for now as the mount screws were way better then the ones that came with either kit. I am actually going to be using the arm on a smaller lighter monitor because I found a real cool shelf that puts the 32in monitor exactly where I want it. I hope this helps friend!
I actually really like you doing product reviews! I know you haven't gotten as much love on it but I think you did a good job and I got to see one of my favorite reviewers reviewing something I wanted to buy!
Thank God I found this channel, I was about to pull the trigger for 2 monitor at $200 bucks but this seems to work as good as the expensive ones minus some quality in parts

I do like these kinds of videos. I always look for youtube videos before I make a purchase on different things especially computer stuff. Keep videos like these coming. Maybe another video on good PC accessories to add to your gaming setup.
I was actually thinking about buying this arm and I needed to see the reviews on it and since I have watched your videos before I trust your judgment. This was perfect review thank you 🙏
For this being your first time posting this type of video it was honestly entertaining asf. So much so that I’m not even gonna critic you for that black screen at the end till the 10:30 mark. Personally would like to see more content like this and looking forward to the streams.
Thanks dude. I watch your reactions, but this is actually exactly what I've been looking for with my home setup (also have a full desk mousepad etc, and nothing I've found shows what it looks like with this).
Awesome review, thanks!! I bought this arm and supposed to get it today. I was a bit concerned because my monitor is 29 inch, but your review shows it to be pretty sturdy. My monitor is big but on the thin side so I'm guessing good quality should support it just fine. Mine says it supports up to 32 inch, so fingers crossed.
I like mine. The design is slightly different I think now.I put it together per instructions, your video as I remembered it and some intuition....I put it on a slanted drafting table so it isn't designed to pull back as far as Id like but it still works for me.Im probably stressing it out more on a slanted table but it seems strong enough for the 17 inch TV I'm testing it with.If that stays stable, as I think it will, I will put a 24 incher onto it.
Thanks for your amazing video. I too am in the market for a great set of monitor arms for my new stand/sit electric desks. But I do have a question, why did you buy two separate single arms instead of the dual arms from MountUp? Or did they not have that option when you bought them last March?
