Appalachian Trail Adventure 2024 Day 39 Finally the Sun & Wildlife Refuge

May 17th 2024 - Appalachian Trail Adventure 2024 Day 39.
Started the day off slow knowing we were doing a short day in order to meet up with Dawn again the following day. Once we hit Unionville, NY road crossing we decided to walked into town and get pizza for lunch. It added only 0.8 for the day and since it was a short day it was the perfect lunch. We also hiked through a wildlife refuge and was thankful for water access by a wonderful AT supporter living on the trail who lets hikers use there spigot for water. Started at mile 1347.3 hiked to mile 1354.4 total miles 7.1 for the day.
