Hi Jenny Have you got a way to check your ISO on your camera? The video always seems dark. Today when you had to switch to your phone when your SD card was full the video was so much brighter. May be worth a look. Loving watching your hike!

The Potomac Appalachian Trail Club has some cabins available to rent in Va and MD and a few in the park. It is a great organization!
I appreciate them! They did a great job with trail maintenance. I reported a few blowdowns and they responded fast.

Don't know what their secret is but they seem to have the best milk shakes... well until the next. HA! Been many years but it's gr8 to see big meadows. Good times
+1 about getting out there! I'm about to do my first overnight in FOREVER at the Richardson-Zlogar Cabin overlook (NET--you may know it!) and I can't wait.........And could it be that person thought you were a day hiker because you smell so good and look so relaxed? Just a theory...🤣
