I installed a voswitch jl grab handle switch in my jeep for a nilight light 20” bar so I should be able to get away with omitting any provided relays and bypass the wires to the battery by plugging em right into the desired port on the power module, correct?
Thanks so much for the helpful video! Was wanting to purchase these today but didn't know how to set them up! Quick question do you think the on on/off switch from the wiring harness could be changed to the rectangle rocker switches that nilight offers? I would love to get the rectangle one that says rock lights and have it match the complete fog light kit with switch i ordered from them. Thanks for your help and time!!
Yes thats easy enough as they should have three wires. Positive, Ground and the Aux power for the switches lighting. Just look up a video on wiring a rocker so you can see where the wires go.
I have a question. Do you always have to connect the rock lights to the battery? Or can I use a fuse tap and go through the fuse box? Please respond...
Yeah a fuze tap can work as well. I preferably always go to the battery so what I am connecting has a dedicated fuse and power source. Piggybacking off a fuse is ok and good if you want something particular to power the lights like hooking to headlights or DRLs but not the cleanest way to go about it.
going to wire these to my roof rack and run it down to the engine bay. can i wire all 4 lights into one and use one connector on the bluetooth controller?
Yes you could strip the outer black rubber off the leads coming from the lights then splice each of the three wires within the leads by color and connect to one lead that runs to the engine bay. My only concern is if the three wires inside are not color coded but you could strip a little off one to make sure it is. You could also get some wire loom that you could conceal all 4 wires leads in and run to the engine bay. Let me know how it goes!
@@GreenMountainProjects I also got 8pc setup can I connect a 4pc and 8pc together with the same switch and relay or do I have to run a separate switch to one module
Thanks for the video. I just installed a set on my daughter's Grand Cherokee.
Awesome!
Will Lights be controlled by others and you can't adjust yours ?

The rear lights that you mounted to the metal wheel well did the bolts go through into the bed of the truck? So you see them standing in the bed?
No there is a void directly above, if you went through the back side of the wheel well it would.
@@GreenMountainProjects i see I seee right on
THANK YOU! Everyone else’s video is like so much talking not showing anything.

Could you put these underneath rather then in wheel well, as wheel well lights are illegal in cali 😢
Yeah you can mount the lights where ever you want, I have users these under the hood for the engine bay and in truck beds as well
Where did you get the extension wire from ?
They sell them as well
Amazon
How long did it take you to install?
An hour or so
