did you include wastage when calculating the duct area?

No, it's just area calculation. Wastage will be added in weight sheet

When creating your videos, it'd be easier for people to follow if you zoom in to the part of the drawing you're looking at on your list. The area you zoomed into is nothing like the start of your list. The 1st piece in your list is a 1400L straight, but the 1st piece you zoomed into looked like a 600L transition, and it looked to be an AC duct, not a toilet exhaust duct, but either way, have some more detail on your list. I assume this Tag List is for checking items off the truck as they're delivered to site? Make life easier for everyone, and put the unit number as part of the Tag/Piece number. You zoomed in to GAC-1, which I assume is Grd floor-AC-1? So when creating your piece numbers, call them GAC-1-1, GAC-1-2, GAC-1-3, etc. So when the guys are unloading the truck they can keep the pieces for each unit together, and save a little time on site. It might take the dafty an extra minute, but if it saves the site guys 10 minutes trying to sort everything into runs, then it's worth the time. Most duct makers have a standard length of 1400, so before you draw your duct, talk to the manufacturer and find out what their standard length is, and draw accordingly, no point having piece number 3 as a 4.5m straight when it's far more likely to arrive on site as 3x 1400L and 1x 300L straights, so mark them as 3, 4, 5, & 6. When you get a truckload of duct to a site, there are many 1400L straights, so put more detail on your list, is it 1400L with an end cap, with your bends, list the type of bend, radius or square throat, instead of just "Elbow". There is nothing more annoying than seeing a Mechanical Services drawing with perfectly drawn palm trees outside, nicely hatched flood areas, and poorly drawn ductwork. It's a MECHANICAL SERVICES drawing, so put your focus on the Mechanical Services. Remember, the whole purpose of drawings is to communicate your design intent efficiently, not about what's easiest for the drafting office. It's a lot easier to manipulate a shape on a page than it is to alter a piece of metal duct on site, so make life easier on them, and you'll save your company money. I strongly recommend anybody who wants to occupy a drafting chair get's off their backside and spend (at least) a month in a duct shop making duct, a month on site installing duct, & pipe, and learn some of the pitfalls of the industry. I'm sure that as soon as you tell the guys you're working with that you're a dafty, they'll be more than keen to give you all the feedback you could possibly want as to ways you could improve your drawing. And make it a regular habit of getting out of the office and visit the site once a month and see how it's coming together, you'll learn far more and become a better dafty for it.
