HOW TO DESIGN STAIRCASE PRESSURIZATION SYSTEM
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
In a high-rise building, the stairs typically represent the sole means of egress during a fire. It is imperative for the exit stairs to be free of smoke and to incorporate design features that improve the speed of occupant egress. Most building codes require the fire stairwells in a high-rise building to be pressurized to keep smoke out. The stairwell pressurization serves several purposes: Inh...

Many of designer fail He achive every thing like Humidity Temperature Partical Ach One thing is fail the units That is pascal Every editor 1st question Pascal Filling area are 55 pascal Unit do not show on gague Why designer are not consider it .
Pressure is not a part of load calculations. You can achieve everything by precise calculations and standard equipment. There are other calculations for dehumidication only, where you need to consider vapour permeation through different building envelope materials. You can't depend on only one calculation.
In pharma industry Question related units: Partical count according to class Micrboial count Ach Pascal Temparture 27 Humdity below 40 ℅
In practical unit do not showing postive pressure. We need 55 pascal in filling room. You did not considered it.

Is this Zoned HVAC design?
Yes, its individual zone temperature control system.
Can you make a video for lift well pressurization for high rise buildings as per NFPA.
Please watch staircase pressurisation calculation video, it same as lift
But don't consider open doors
Any free 90 trial code ?
You mean for HAP 5.1?
@passionateengineer04 any version above the 4.9 version

what do you mean by cps on number 4 equation
Heat release.
How 87.8 wet bulb is possible.
@ahmedshafath this is just for the purpose of understanding the software. There are different places where WB is above 80. During load calculation, always calculate at 2 conditions ,1- maximum dry bulb temp, 2- at dedumification conditions. The coil will selected either based on condition 1 or 2 which ever is greater.
we can calculate fresh air using HAP, why psychrometric
You can with HAP, but not always. You must have knowledge of how to do that with psychometric.
@@passionateengineer04 Thanks , is there any video or ASHRAE Psychrometric is enough, I read from it they are stating that " It is best practice to contact a cooling coil manufacturer (or run their cooling coil selection software)
The best way is to contact the manufacturer, but you have to provide coil ADP, which depends on the loads conditions. Psychometric is a quick way to analyse what you need and what will be provided to manufacturers
Thanks a lot , what about Coil ADP provided by HAP can this be relied.
It is also good if you did the calculations in the right way because internally, you have no idea how HAP is calculating the coil ADP. HAP is based on heat balance.
Could you tell me what kind of tool you used to measure? Is this a tool that measures degrees? Another question, where did you get the measurement to mark the tube for bending?
you divide volum flow rate ( m3/min ) with specific volume ( m3/kg ) should you get mass flow rate in kg/min instead of kg/s ? since you are using perminute so Q out is kw/min not kw/h correct ?
There is a formula in the Excel sheet, which is directly converting the value. I'm sorry to show this in the video, but you can follow your calc.
Can you share the excel document?
It's in the video description. Thank you
Does the bender have any notch or any mark for 45, 30, 10, 22.5, 60 ?

Dear Sir, how did you get the value of 0.2 differential pressure inch w.g. for the Q2 calculation?
Its standard depends on the door opening force. Refer NFPA and ASHRAE handbook

@ShashiSanmukhiya yes

Great video sir. But I have a bit of a doubt. In one of our project quote that was given to us the pressure in one of the rooms (bio safety room) is given as negative. No parameters are given in it for pressure..in this case what do I do?
If you want a detailed calculation, refer to ASHRAE, you need to calculate wall leakage, door leakage, etc. Before this, you need to calculate the required cfm based on ACH min of 20 for cleanrooms
did you include wastage when calculating the duct area?
No, it's just area calculation. Wastage will be added in weight sheet
Can you share the cad file? Thank you.
Nice video sir. Is there an SI unit version of the excel sheet? Thank you
Can I also get a copy of the drawing?

Hi
Hi, nice and really very helpful. thank you man ...
I sent you email please if you reply 🙏💐
Hello , I don't think that using high ACH in load calculation is correct ,, ACH that must be used in HAP is the one related to fresh air requirements , however, the ACH related to cleanliness should be considered to calculate the number of fan filter units to circulate the air through HEPA filters , hope to hear back from you.
Sorry for that, but you are not right, ACH is a part of load calculation. Based on this, you will select equipment and cfm/ton. Coil load and supply air temp depends on this. Thank you
@@passionateengineer04 thanks for your reply ,, but I did many cleanrooms in Canada ,, ACH doesn't mean fresh air ,, these are two different things ,, I agree that fresh air is part if the load calculation and it can be part of the ACH ,, but considering that ALL the ACH is fresh air is something that we don't do .
Both ACH are part of load calculation. If you are working in Canada, then it's also the same, but the difference is the fresh air unit, like if you are using HRV, makeup air unit etc than you don't need to consider the fresh air ACH. You can do differently, calculate the load, and than put user define air flow based on ACH.
In which province of Canada are you working? Are you familiar with CSA Z317.2? ALBERTA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY?
@@passionateengineer04 I work in Ontario,, would be great if we can have a call to discuss.
Hello. I successfully downloaded the trial Avenir LoopCAD "LoopCAD2024-Roth-Setup.exe" file, HOWEVER it will not load on My Apple MacBook M1 laptop running Sonoma 14.5. This was really helpful thank you. I did have a question if I have a positive pressure environment located in a lab and I have a heatload within the positive pressure environment, how do I calculate the amount of cfm I'll need to remove the heatload into the lab?
Sorry, i didn't understand your question, can you please elaborate?
if you know the load then you can use sensible heat equation that Q= 1.08xcfmxdelT
You didn’t consider grille pressure drop that will come around 10-20 pa

fire area in not as the floor area this will increase the fan m3/s
It's depends on the situation. The fire area is actually the area separated by fire rated walls if the attrium wall are fire rated and fire will not transfer from internal space like shops etc to the attrium, than only attrium area will be considered as a fire area.
I think there is some problem in this video regarding that and window exposure in its properties you expose all 4-side wall how???
It's just for calculations.all depends on the building orientation
Sir, can we get the revit arch model of this drawing for practice? Or any other model for practice?
