Damn! A sold out coliseum! If we had an owner who cared, we could have the same kind of crowd and atmosphere every season! Let’s make HT happen!! Go A’s!
I was there, section 219. My sister called into work and I called in sick from school, we were both in tears. I’ve been to at least 200 A’s games in my life and this was the greatest game I ever witnessed.
Me too so pack and so fun at the game that day I have videos on Facebook. I actually bought my ticket to the last game on opening night not knowing what would have that season have came down to Wow.
Remember checking my phone during school and saw we were losing. Checked it again during 7th period and saw that we we came back! Can remember running home from school that day to catch the last few outs of the game. 2012 was a special year for the A's.
I was there, I remember going into work that day, going straight to my boss and telling him I was gonna take the day off to see this game, bought some last second tickets, grabbed a buddy of mine and we were off. One of the most magical days I can remember in my life, the hype and excitement was off the charts. Felt like my damn head was going to explode from yelling the entire game. Yeah it was just a game, but the whole entire day was special.
That series was wild, game 161 was also epic. I remember watching every game glued to my tv. Matter of fact that season was one of the craziest things I've ever seen in my life
That was the first playoff run that I truly remember. My homie and I were in 8th grade, and his dad pulled us out of a field trip to go to the game. Hamilton dropping that ball was an out-of-body experience...... The Mcffee was shaking.
As I’ve gotten older I’ve begun to spend more time on other sports like football, basketball, mma but there is nothing and will be nothing like the love I have for this team. The memories of my dad taking us out of school to watch this game are still some of the fondest in my life.
I went to all 3 of these. I still get chills hearing the crowd reaction the moment Hamilton drops the ball. With 2 outs and game tied, the crowd knew the Rangers season was over.
As a Giants fan I remember watching this run just being happy to see the Coliseum and A's still rocking... I have extreme fondness for the coliseum and Giants/Raiders fan
So sad to watch this, felt like it was just last season I miss these teams so disappointing how things are now this is how I remember my A’s and that packed coliseum man something needs to change how about a park at Howard terminal! My biggest dream … Let’s Go Oakland!
I was there for the final 4 home games of the season. Driving from the peninsula, we ended up missing the first 3 innings due to being stuck on Edes Rd lol. Had tickets for the bleachers but it was full, managed to get better seats in the 200s near the foul pole line. Hands down the best A’s game I have ever been and one of the best sport’s memory of my life. The atmosphere was something I will never forget. And 30 minutes after they clinched, no one, I mean NO ONE, left the coliseum. Even better, I got to share the experience with my dad. The Oakland A’s fan base is a sleeping giant. Thanks for posting this Brodie. #LetsGoOakland
Anything to do with 2012 is next level Will never forget so many players plays and games that season We we’re blessed to be at 30 regular season games including the last 4 in a row and all the post season festivities Let’s Go Oakland at the end of the season…😢😢
The 2012 A's are my favorite team who aren't a twins team. The fans, the players with character, the walkoffs. Unfortunately John Fisher ruined everything.
Being born in 95’, this will always be my WS moment. Being there alongside my Uncle in the shade of section of 130, I can remember being there like yesterday. It truly shatters my heart that this will now be a memory forever locked in my heart but that our team is now gone and the concrete castle will soon be no more 😭 #FJF
Oh how I miss the Coliseum rockin like this for an A's game. Good times. I really hope I could do an A's playoff game Vlog while they're still in Oakland
Was there. Called in sick to work, got to the stadium and they were out of tickets. My buddy and I happened to talk to a father and his very young son (maybe 3 years old) while walking down the south-east ramp outside the stadium. The father mentioned how he doesn’t think his son will make it through the game, so my buddy and I offer to buy both of his $2 tickets for $65. He accepted, and we got tickets. Unfortunately, they were in the last row of the 2nd deck in a hard to watch area (I think section 231). Told my buddy “let’s go to the LF bleachers, I may know someone who can get us in.” That person was one of the long time LF ticket checkers (Roy Bird - RIP). Roy was such an awesome guy. And as awesome as he was, he asked where we were sitting, and when I told him, he told us to go in, have fun and that he wouldn’t bother us. If anyone remembers Josh Hamilton flipping off the LF bleachers, we were who he was flipping off after talking so much smack throughout the entirety of the game 😂 I like to think we were the reasons he dropped that pop-fly lol! Great memories!!
I was there at this game and I bought my ticket on opening night, not knowing what the season will bring us didn't know that we'll have to win our last game and that Series of the season. To make it to the playoffs wow what an experience and what energy was in the atmosphere in the stadium going to Miss that feeling long live Oakland A's. Oakland-Bay Area fans are the best.
I was in the press box that day as I was writing the game summary for Sports Radio Service. I went down to the clubhouse after the win and got a huge hug from pitching coach Curt Young. What a feeling. I also took a picture of Yoenis Cespedes with the A's Spanish language broadcaster Amaury Pi-Gonzalez. It's a day I will never forget.
We are here but dont support the ownership. We love our team. But the owners dont care about us. Oakland East Bay has manu A's fans. They got rid of all of our good players they got rid of all the good food they got rid of everything that was fun at the ballpark the riot's tickets up they raised parking up they talked about leaving us for so long and now are leaving us to Las Vegas that's what happened to the fans.
Damn! A sold out coliseum! If we had an owner who cared, we could have the same kind of crowd and atmosphere every season! Let’s make HT happen!! Go A’s!
This was the same owner, fisher took over in 2005 I believe.

I was also with my sibling that day - so glad we didn't go into work and that I got to share an unforgettable moment with my brother. #OaklandForever

@@Nevergoingback23 I missed work also lol 😆
yeah and you lost in the first round
I was there also never forget it. I get tears when I think about that A’s team.

The Coliseum wasn’t perfect but none of that mattered when it was a packed house and rockin! It felt like a ballpark for the people.

run that ended in the LDS so
I just graduated high school and moved in with my friend and his dad, both whom were crazy A’s fans just like me. I’ll never forget those days 😭
This was the first baseball game I ever attended, and I live and breathe green n gold ever since

I was an usher up in section 226...a drunk tried to thrown me over the railing. And then A's WINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN ! Happy Birthday me..

I was working at a clients house that day and watching it through the window on their tv lol.

GREAT memory!! Thanks for posting this.
I was there, best sports moment I’ve ever witnessed. High fives and hugs everywhere. “We did it, we did it!” What a moment

My favorite sports moment of all time. 6th grade got to witness this live

That was a great game to see. My friend called the night before with last minute tix....let's go!
Rangers from 1996-1999 and from 2010-2013.... So many heartbreaks despite great seasons
What the coliseum can look like when the ownership has the appearance of giving a shit about winning.
So nostalgic man. Fisher has perpetually disparaged this iconic organization.
I'm the guy in Kelly Green and khakis behind the 2012 AL West Champions screenshot 🙋🏽♂️
man this was a legendary day
Gosh look at the coliseum just rocking. What a great year 2012. #sell
Still the best game I ever attended.
NOTHING beats when Balfour took the mound
I totally agree. Best A's game EVER!
What happened to all those fans?
Rank it 3rd on games I've been to at the Coliseum. #2, Ramon's walk off bunt, #1, Scutaro walk off against Rivera on opening night. I'm gonna miss it.
greatest A's game in my life time!
Almost 10 years later... and Elvis Andrus is still at short
3:48 wtf lmao
Oh how I miss Oakland on fire!!!
Only the faithful still attend
Don't Remember How i Got Home!
I will miss the *OAKLAND* Athletics
Kaenon glasses were finished after this game
Too bad they couldn't open up the rest of the stadium. The As need to stay in Oakland!
I was there in section 149
Look at all the fairweather fans.
Sadly baseball will die soon for me am done

nice but never won a world series yet! just 1989
9 world series wins. 5 in Philly, 4 in Oakland. Tied for 3rd most WS wins all time with the Red Sox.
@@Bungbungkitty Arguably the most successful team in California history, the Oakland Athletics.
