How good are you? Honestly, there are thousands of reactors, probably a dozen or so trained in the craft and in vocal analysis, but the depth, articulation and energy you bring to your reactions, I think, is without peer. And that's always there, but it really gets showcased when the singer has extensive training and phenomenal talent. You have so much to parse and comment about, but you always rise to the task.

Belting showcase - "You're Not From Here" from the same concert. Of course, I think it was a perfect concert performance from start to finish but I didn't know this song until I saw this concert recording around 2001. No other female singer in history can eclipse Lara, for me.
Waouw... Great reaction... and crazy that Lara is going through all these tricks so effortlessly and that is seems so intuitive to her. Congrats again for this reaction.
As Italian, I know the song by Lucio Dalla (the one who wrote and composed it, one of the greatest Italian songwriters of all time) and every time I listen to it, tears flow down my face. Lara Fabian (of Italian origins on her mother's side) made this wonderful poem set to music even more touching. I think that unfortunately only those who know Italian can fully understand the text and the feeling behind every single word.
Beautiful reaction, gorgeous Fairy. Excellent Italian pronunciation and fantastic perfect pitch. If you happen to come to Italy you are my guest in Sicily. Buona serata e Grazie 🌹
Fairy mother, loved your reaction, and your Italian, mamma mia! 😊 You're the only vocal coach I heard demonstrating more than convincingly all the notes sung by Dimash. And speaking of Dimash, I think you promised an hour long analysis video of a Dimash's bag of tricks
Lolli I have missed you. I have not seen one of your reactions in a long time. Your analyses are the best. Hearing you imitate the artist is mind-melting. As always I love your energy and joy. I would love to hear you sing.

What a treat for me...ty. Great reaction, great reactor\teacher\fairy, great song, great lyrics\story...a dying Enrico Caruso saying goodbye to his young wife (and child)...done by the Queen. Long long long may she reign.
My Gf is half Sicilian, her surname is 'Mare' & she just loves how beautifully Lara pronounces it. [In English it means 'Sea'.] - Lara is one of my favourite singers of all time.
You are my favorite vocal analyst and today with the best female vocaliste of this century, is fantastic, love Lara , love Lolly Wren, i ve listenned to your clips on your channel and love it also, nice voice and emotions in your renditions
Lara Fabian is the best performer and singer ever. Unfortunately, she was little known in America because she was blocked by the "Team Céline Dion" with pressure on the record companies and radios. Apparently they were afraid of their tremendous art. The song Caruso was written by Lucio Dalla, a story about the singer Caruso.
They have reasons to be afraid, she's a better performer than Celine dion, hands down. And it's not biased, she have better technique + she communicates emotion almost perfectly (cause yes nobody perfect)
No-one, in my humble opinion! - has ever done a better Caruso. It's not just the stunning beauty of her voice, but,as you point out, her massive and finely honed vocal toolkit, her incredibly micro-nuanced use of it, and the intentional use of every breath between. THEN there's her body language 'word painting' as well as her overall stage presence. We always know when an artist is giving it their ALL - and Lara does, each and every time. Just wonderful. Great 'unpack' as always. (I'm always stunned by YOUR voice and Your skills too. We need to see /hear more of YOU!}
I know Lara Fabian for ages but, your analysis makes me more appreciative for her art. The way you explain, getting emotional ….. Btw, you have a fine singing voice to and it’s also very pleasant how all your reactions are so filled with admiration and respect> Lara is in my opinion the greatest female “pop”-artist.
I always get a stomach ache laughing because of the amount of humor you put into your clear and expert explanation of Lara's singing techniques. Even as a Dutch person, I understand everything you say, because you articulate well. Keep up the good work and get me hooked on your channel by continuing to highlight my favorite singer of all time.
Lara's mother and maternal grandmother are Italian. They raised her in Italy her first 5 or more years. Still, she is a polyglot, having many languages at her disposal. When you get to know Lara's singing, you will be far more aware of how much influence she had on Dimash. There is a video floating around of Lara and Dimash meeting for the first time at an Igor Krutoy Birthday Bash. The man adores her.
I'm here to thank you for the memories you bringing me: My father was Italian and he loved the opera Caruso was his favorite tenor and I'll have listened to cover for Pavarotti a thousand times, even when I don’t wanted. That B5 is actual lightening in a bottle. It sends chills down my spine every single time! Caruso, is an italian song, written, composed and performed in 1986 by Lucio Dalla as a tribute to Enrico Caruso, the most famous tenor of his time (late 19th / early 20th century). He was the first global singing superstar. The story is about the last days of Enrico Caruso, he knows he is dying, and he is remembering all his career on stage and telling his much younger wife how much he loves her. It has very quickly become a classic of italia music and the biggest names have covered it (Julio Iglesias, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, …. and of course Luciano Pavarotti). Even Metallica covered it But for many, Lara's version from the concert From Lara With Love 2000 th-cam.com/video/BP2KnLemT78/w-d-xo.html is the best ever, as she was able, with her unique ability to convey the emotions of a song, to reveal the real sad story written by Lucio Dalla. I was told that Lucio Dalla himself, after hearing this performance, said that she made it her song and this is the best version he has heard from it. For Lara, this song is really important as this is a kind of anthem for Italy, and she is so much connected to this country. She spent the first few years of her life there with her sicilian mother and grandma. Italian is her first native language. Her husband is also sicilian. She also has been living there for the past few months since the end of 2022.
